My dream of being at the Olympic games has come true. I’ve trained extremely hard for this. Spent countless hours practicing. It’s not easy being a gymnast. Your body is pushed to extremes that many don’t even realize. It’s painful, stressful, and can be lonely. You spend more time with your coach than anyone else. Which isn’t a problem for me.
I’ve been attracted to my coach, Dylan, for a long time. I know he feels the same but is fighting his feelings for me as his student.
The deep stretching, late nights, and time alone push us to a forbidden place.
I’m balancing on a fine line hoping if I fall he’ll still be there to catch me.

Learning to relax to win the gold

Straddle is the third book in the Reaching for the Gold series and is about Madison Harris and Dylan Tanner. Madison is eighteen years old and is a gymnast for the USA Olympic team. This is her second time at the Olympics, this year being held in Los Angeles, and is one the verge of winning a gold medal to go with the silver medal she won four years ago. Dylan is twenty-three years old and is a previous Olympic gold medal winner for the USA team. He is now retired from competing and is working as a coach for the USA women's team. Madison has been struggling a bit to get her balance beam routine just perfect. So Dylan is assigned to work with her exclusively for the week leading up to the gymnastics competition. To say that Dylan and Madison have a sizzling hot chemistry would be an understatement. But he is her coach and if they were to get involved it would mean he would lose his coaching position and she would be withdrawn from competition. But when you put to young people together have a connection that is deeper than just physical you can't expect that they will not bounce over that line together and into a future that they envision together.

This is a sweet, smexy, fun and entertaining short story. I liked both Dylan and Madison as they both battle their feelings along with the pressures of elite competition. Dylan does have some interesting ways to get Madison out of her head and to release her stress, to get the best from her for the competition. Add in some drama along the way also.

Madison is a gymnast at the Olympics to win the gold. She has had a massive thing for her coach Dylan forever but she doesn't think he wants her. Dylan has wanted Madison too but knowing he is her coach he has kept those feelings at bay. What happens when Dylan is tasked to only concentrate on Madison and they end up spending time alone? I really loved Madison and Dylan's story..they have such chemistry and are perfect for one another.

Madison is a gymnast and has dreamed of winning gold at the Olympics since she was a little girl. For years she's had a crush on Dylan her coach but she's not sure how he feels about her. The more time they spend together the closer they get and even though he wants to keep things professional his heart and body are telling him something else. This is a sweet and short romance with believable characters and a great ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Adored this story!!!

Absolutely loved everything about this story! How he was in her corner the whole time and never gave up on her. How she took all his love and adoration and used it to make her better. Even using her heartbreak and hate, though misplaced, to get her what she came for - the gold medal!

Really enjoyed this series of Olympic themed stories!

Great quick read

Madison came to the Olympics with winning a gold the only thing on her mind but that changed once she developed romantic feelings for her coach. Dylan tries to keep it professional but as they spend more time together it turns into more. Keeping the relationship a secret turns out to be tough but it worked out in the end.

I have to say this one is my favorite in the series. I loved how Dylan is always in Madison's corner, how he has her back, encouraging her. The way their story unfolds shows how their feelings and love grow. A page turner that I couldn't get enough of.
