I've been looking forward to reading Jaz's story since the first book! And I was not let down in the slightest. I loved reading this book, I read it in one sitting. The fact that it's both Jaz and Liam?! Had me hooked. We all knew it was leading this way but I was so happy to get my hands on this book! I was surprised by some of the twists by the secondary characters. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I look forward to potentially reading about this secondary characters. I love reading about this world! Whose next? Cause I want it in my hands right now.

Trident Rescue is back with Liam and Jaz's story. Oh man was this a good book. So we all know that Liam keeps his distance with people and he does not let anyone in. However, he has a few friends that just managed to slip through his cracks. He also has a particular taste as well. You know the kind that has its own special clubs. He is also a successful business man. He runs a top notch security company. So when his friends sister Jaz needs help, he steps in to help her. Only he did not think that this petite woman would be able to show him a thing or two. Jaz has a way about her that can get to a person with out then knowing. It is crazy. Regardless of what she thinks about herself, she can read a person or a room. While trying to accomplish her goal she misses a few things. May even get sidetracked when it came to Liam. Their story has a few ups and downs, intense emotional moments and some kink. Overall it is a great book to add to the series. Check out how it all ends.

The moment I reached halfway through this book, I knew that this would be an 'it's me, not you' thing. I loved most of the books in this series, and Eli's story Enemy Contact is my favorite one. However, Liam's story inexplicably didn't click with me as I moved forward; it felt like I was forcing myself to finish the book rather than enjoying it. I can see that the chemistry between Liam and Jaz is brewing hot, as the slow-burning tension progressively builds throughout the story. But the problem with me is that I couldn't feel anything other than business between them, which I find interesting because that's how Liam's character is. He's stoic, incapable of love, and utterly strict with what he wants and how things get done.

I feel like the romance was cut short on how deeply Liam can fall in love with Jaz, and vice versa. They were into each other sexually at first, while the tension started from there. And at some point, I expected Liam to grovel more and do more to earn Jaz's love, like I want the yearning, pining, and being obsessed with her like head over heels. It's like he's 30% lover and 70% businessman. Although there were scenes where he laid bare all his wants and needs to let Jaz see him being vulnerable, I couldn't feel any emotions because it felt somehow shallow. The other plot, which isn't romance, took the driver's seat in the story; hence, their romance felt dull to me.

Despite that, I liked the dynamic between Patti and Liam. How they find peace and a way back to each other as a family, how she's making up the time she has lost as a mother. I liked to get to know Liam on a deeper level, as he's very observant by nature and notices everything around him. I also find Jaz's character refreshing as I got to see the way she thinks about things. She's adventurous, always faces challenges with confidence, has outstanding discipline, and knows her way through things. With all of the above, she's also a pure and sensitive soul and capable of feeling hurt.

All in all, I loved seeing all the Tridents back together with their families and the bond that is stronger than ever. Although I wanted to see more of Jaz and Kyan together, and how he thinks about all this, and have siblings chat about Liam, I think the plot is excellent. I loved the epilogue and getting to see more of Ella, and Eli being a father has always been a delight for me.

A solid three stars.
Looking forward to reading Aiden's story.

So if you have been following this series then you know that Liam the owner of Trident Rescue never lets anyone get close not since he lost his family but a few of the men he works with have managed to get behind his walls One of those is Kyan and when his sister appears to be in danger Liam steps up to work has her bodyguard. Jaz is a mountain climber about to take on a major climbing event but a series of mishaps make it appear someone may be trying to kill her. She doesn't want Liam around her and thinks she can take care of herself But soon they will need to work together if they are to survive and in the process Liam may find it ok to let someone break his walls down,

Pro-climber Jaz is strong willed, independent but she's also narrow minded (in regards to her ultimate goal) and completely focused on winning the Clash of the Titans. A competitive competition for mountain climbers. The majority of which are men and Jaz is not made welcome. More so with all the threats. Enter Liam who is friends with Jaz's brother Kyan and an owner of a security company. He sets out to help her out. A problem when they can't stand each other. That in itself brings plenty of sexual tension and witty banter. I loved the relationship between Jaz and Liam. They both definitely keep you on your toes as did the story too. A great read

Mixed feelings, but I'll be generous

While this entry is technically the lowest on the totem pole for me in this series, it hardly seems fair to rate it too harshly just because it slightly dabbles into BDSM territory. Even on a smaller scale, romances featuring these kinds of relationships simply aren't my personal flavor of choice. Fortunately, the kink factor wasn't as much blown out of proportion as I expected it to be, and there were still plenty other features to this story that were more than enough to entertain me. Because of this, I upped the rating from 2-stars to three.

For this go around, we get some expansion of both Jaz and Liam, two characters we've already more than become acquainted with in the previous books. I ADORED Jaz from the beginning, while Liam was semi-intriguing in his own way. I loved all their squabbles even BEFORE this entry came into play and was looking forward to seeing even more of that. Sadly, their head-butting moments didn't pack too big a punch in this book, and they seemed to have acted more civilly than anything else. Mildly disappointing, but...it's whatever I guess. At least I got better reasoning behind their actions towards one another.

I had plenty of complaints. I already mentioned the kink factor, so no need to continue harping on that. It's not like I didn't know what I was getting into when I got into this entry. It wasn't too overly glorified at least, but the two sex club scenes were positively gag-worthy. What was weird is that Jaz's character didn't care for kink either. Until she magically decided she may kind of like it but didn't like that she liked it while continuing to like it before concluding she may not be able to be as much into it like Liam may want/expect if he wants to be with her. I was hoping she'd sort of stick to her guns a little more, but at least she didn't full on dive in either.

Beyond the kink stuff, I didn't care for the numerous moments throughout the story that didn't have resolutions. Too many times something significant would happen in a scene only to have the following paragraph pick up somewhere else. Meanwhile I'm left wondering how the heck the previous situation had been worked out. I also wasn't fond of how far-fetched some scenes were. I get that these books are gonna have one to several rescue elements, but the whole third act in this one was WAY beyond my capability to believe. It also didn't help that the "villainy" in this book was cartoonishly exaggerated.

At any rate, though, I still was entertained enough by plenty of other things, hence the extra star. I commend it for at the very LEAST having a story. It may not have been compelling or super dramatic or emotional, but...it was a story, and it wasn't a flimsy one. I'm still enjoying this series overall and I intend to keep going.

Alex Lidell has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Jaz and Liam. Jaz is a pro-champion mountain climber and she and her partner are going for the Clash of the Titans. Vector Ascent is the company she is under as a sponsor for the climb. They picked her when they let Roman Robillard go. She is the only woman in the group of mountain climbers for the Clash of the Titans. Someone is sending threats to her and her parents are worried about her. She gets a message from her brother Kyan to come to his place since the parents are there. When she gets there, she sees Liam and wants to know why he is there. Her dad Hugh was her to pull out of the Clash of the Titans but she can't. No one knows the reason except for Sebastian, her climbing partner. When she tells her parents that she is not going to pull out, they hire Liam's company Trident Security and Rescue to watch over her. She is not happy about this and decides to make things hard on whoever is watching over her. Things happen and the two guards she has on her almost get in trouble with Liam until she steps in and tells him it is not their fault and nothing had better happen to them. Liam makes a deal with her for two weeks. She has to stay with him for those two weeks and if nothing happens, he has to cut her loose. Things happen and it makes Liam think someone is after Jaz. Jaz, Sebastian, and Liam go to the Clash of the Titans event and she and Sebastian are to map out five different routes to climb and the rest of the climbers do the same. The judges will pick the best course and that will be the one used. Sebastian has gone to look over the town and get them something to eat when he is in an accident. An SUV has t-boned him and now he is in the hospital and can't help Jaz. Liam is the one that now has to help her. During the week they are out, things happen between them and they get together. Once they get back home, they continue to see each other. One night they had been out with friends and her brother and are walking back to his SUV when they get close to it, Liam noticed something wrong. He pushed Jaz to the ground and covers her as his SUV explodes. Liam is now in the hospital after having surgery to get the metal out of his back. A few days later after he gets home, he gets a call from Aiden, one of his employees, and told something that is not good. Liam tells him to get everyone into the Delta conference room and he and Jaz are on their way. When they get to Liam's office, he is shown a news report saying that Vector Ascents has let his company go for not protecting Jaz. This is a lie. The team has found out who is behind all the trouble that has come their way. It is the rival security company Obsidian Ops. Liam is going to do something he knows will hurt Jaz but it is the only way to keep her safe. He tells Aiden to sever the contract with Vector Ascents and to set up a press release. Jaz can't believe what she is hearing. She lets Liam know her feelings about what he is doing. He tells her that there was no them and he is not relationship material. He tells her that he is having her stuff packed up from his house and sent back to hers and that her rent is paid up for a little while. She wants to know about the Clash of the Titans and he pulls his checkbook out signs a check and tells her to put any amount in for the prize money she would get. She goes home and Sebastian is there and wants to know what is going on. She tells him. He tells her that her apartment will look like she never left when she gets back. She tells him that she is not going to unpack what was sent back over from Liams since, after the Clash of the Titans, she is not coming back. She is going to leave town and go somewhere else. When her plane lands and she goes to get her things, they are not there. She goes a few rounds with someone when she calls to find out where her things are. She calls Vector Ascents to let them know what is going on and told not to worry about them. When she goes outside to meet her ride, it is to see Roman Robillard there. He is her ride and her new partner. She is not happy with this after what he had done to her before. He tells her he was sorry for what he did and that she needed to go get registered for the climb and he would come back to find her bags. Things are not looking good for Jaz. When Roman calls her, he tells her that her bags go put on another plane and won't be there until the next morning at 8"00. He tells her that he would be there to get her bags for her and meet her at the climb. If he was late it wouldn't matter but for her, it would. Roman gets there with her bags with just a few minutes to spare. She doesn't have time to check her gear before she has to start the climb. Jaz and Roman are on a ledge when she notices her rope had been cut. Things go from bad to worse when Roman turns on her. He has cut all her ropes and now tells her that it is going to be a fair climb. He is tired of her sleeping her way into the spot that was supposed to be his. Liam has found out that the colonel in charge of Obsidian Ops is Lucius and he has a daughter no one at the company knows about. He is going to use it to his advantage. What he finds out makes him realize he has put Jaz in more danger. He is told that Roman came to Lucius to have Jaz taken out. And now he is going to be her climbing partner. Lucius tells him that the competition has already started and he had a helicopter he could use as long as things between them were settled. Liam takes the deal and goes to find Jaz. When he finds her, he sees Roman hit her and she goes over the edge. He has the pilot drop him off above Roman. Roman is trying to cut Jaz's rope so she falls. Liam stops him from cutting Jaz's rope by shooting his hand. Roman runs off while Liam pulls Jaz up. When Jaz gets up to Liam, the next thing they know is an explosion, and the other climbers are hanging on by their ropes. Jaz looks around and sees one of the climbers not moving like the rest of the. She tells Liam that he has to be saved. He tells her he will call rescue and have them come and get him. Jaz tells him they are too far away and it would take more than an hour to get there. She tells him she can get to the climber. Liam doesn't like the plan she has but he goes with her on it. He has the pilot come back and get them and take them to another spot and drop them off. Things don't turn out the way they plan. When Liam's back is turned, Roman comes up behind Jaz and puts a knife to her throat. Liam has to take Roman out before he can hurt Jaz. After Roman is dealt with, Jaz goes to save Cody the climber who is in trouble. When they all get back to base, Jaz is shaking so bad. She knows it is just nerves. When the police are done with her, she is ready to go back to her room. Liam tells her that he would go back with her. She tells him no. She has to be strong to stay away from him now after he hurt her the way he did.
Will Liam get Jaz to forgive him for what he did to her?

Can a dominant, hardened SEAL find the strength to submit to love?

At last, we get Liam and Jaz' book. Liam holds himself apart from everyone even his SEAL/Trident brothers. His "relationships" consist of sessions as Dom at a sex club. He's never thought he was good enough for Jaz and is heavy handed in pushing her away. When possible threats against her surface, he takes charge of her security much to her dismay. Jaz is an expert climber to put it mildy and doesn't hesitate to put her special forces bodyguards through their paces as she expresses her displeasure at having a detail forced on her. Liam realizes there's more to her than he gives her credit for. Their fledgling relationship comes to a screeching halt when he learns that he and her brother pose significant threats to her safety. Turning to his trademark move with those he loves, he cruelly pushes her away. He finally realizes he's the coward and she the strong one when she cuts all ties to him. Desperate to prove how wrong he is, he first has to save her only to realize Jaz doesn't need a savior but a partner.

Their love scenes are super hot and when he takes her to the sex club to put her through her paces, well it will melt your kindle. All the previous couples are here too as well as their ever expanding families.

Can't wait for Aiden's book and I hope Addie gets one too.

Liam and his “desires” have been built up over the last few books and his and Jaz’s mutual dislike similarly so…So the story of them coming together was always going to be pretty epic but wow, when two alphas come together the result is just spectacular.

In all this series I think that this is my favourite one so far.

Jaz has always been a strong character throughout the books, a strong friend to the female protagonists and a lovable thorn in the side of the male ones, she has her own strengths that are neither acknowledged nor respected by her bother and his friends. This all comes to somewhat of a head thorough this book and the result is fantastic. Jaz is just herself throughout, constantly calling out Liam for his high handed behaviour and treatment of her.
Liam to be fair, just doesn’t know what to do for or with Jaz, and so the end begins. Both parties in denial but falling fast and hard, this is absolutely a love story but with suspense, angst and drama galore to keep you turning these pages.

Nice continuation of the world building here, it was great to hear about the previous characters and how their lives had continued.

A fab read

Liam and Jaz

This was a book that slowly built until I couldn’t tear my focus from it. Liam and Jaz were enemies out of necessity, but never in their hearts. Liam has held Jaz at arms length since she was 12 and wrote him a love letter. He made her “hate” him in an effort to protect her. But he quickly learns how strong Jaz is on her own when he inserts himself as her personal protection when she’s treatened. The push and pull of Liam and Jaz is perfect. Their working together to train for Jaz’s big climb really made them push aside their preconceived notions of each other and they finally have to let their guards down. Of course, this wouldn’t be as engaging if their relationship was all sunshine and rainbows. So when Liam makes the wrong choice by taking Jaz’s choices away from her, I was surprised Liam was able to walk back his efforts in pushing Jaz away. I was equally as surprised that he figured out his mistake prior to learning his reasoning for pushing Jaz away was factually wrong. I think the ending was perfect. Everything was wrapped up perfectly and it was clear Aiden would be the next to get a book in this series. I can’t wait to delve into his story after getting that one chapter glimpse into his psyche.

This book had it all - enemies to lovers trope, action, suspense and all the feels. Highly recommend!

Jaz Keasley is a competitive rock climber. She is fiercely independent, outgoing, headstrong, reckless and broke. She needs to win the prize money from the Clash of the Titans climbing competition.

Liam Rowen is a former SEAL, runs a security firm and is her brother Kyan's best friend. He was also her tween crush. He is also a dominant.

Her father gets a threatening note and her family wants her to quit the competition and lay low. She refuses and Liam provides a security team for her. After she makes fools of the team, Liam takes over her protection and moves her into his condo. When her climbing partner is taken out in a car accident Liam steps in as her climbing partner. They hook up as he introduces her to the kinky side of life. He pushes her out of his life after he learns who and why she received the threats from and she gets a last minute climbing partner. After rescuing her from certain death they reconcile and get their HEA.

Jaz Keasely is a rock climber out to win a career making competition, and Liam Rowen is her brother’s best friend and the one man she doesn’t want trying to protect her. Unfortunately, she’s stuck with him because there have been threats to her and some strange occurrences, but she doesn’t have to like it. Of course, the more they’re together, the more they get to know each other, and come to realize the misconceptions they have as well. I liked seeing the other Trident members and their wives and children in the story, they’ve all become one big family and it’s fun to see what’s going on with them. I was a bit concerned because Liam has a reputation for being a bit dominating and kinky when it comes to his sex life, but he didn’t take Jaz anywhere she didn’t want to go. I wasn’t too sure of Liam, but once I learned his whole story, I began to think he was a great fit for independent, spunky Jaz. I look forward to more Trident Rescue stories in the future.

Enemy Hold - Enemies -To -Lovers -Stand Alone Healing Love Romance (Trident Rescue) Alex Liddell

The story between Liam and Jaz has been brewing through several of the Trident books, although he has been avoiding her since she wrote him a love letter when she was 12. Now an amazing independent talented rock climber she is determined to do an important contest and win a substantial amount of much needed money. Despite several “attacks” treating Jaz she was determined to go this alone but finally agrees to security. That secret security comes in the form of Liam as her partner in the rock climbing contest.
This is a fast paced page turning story with a kick ass female heroine and an ex Navy Seal who is part of the Trident rescue team and also a part of her past. The book is filled with outdoor adventure, suspense and mystery , some witty snark and humor, throw in some light BDSM (someone owns a club…) romance and a nail biting conclusion-HEA and you have an excellent addition to the Trident Rescue Series.

Enemy my ***!!!! From the other books in the Trident Rescue Series, you knew that Liam and Jaz were destined to be, no matter how much they intensely hated each other. In Enemy Hold, we find out why. It is a story to tell and one that adds to the drama of the story and the series. That being said, this book has enough drama, suspense, twists, mysteries, betrayals, action, and romance to fill, well, a novel, as it aptly did. This book was absolutely entertaining to read and most definitely one I could not put down.

Although Enemy Hold is standalone, it does help to read the other books in the series to get the subtitles of the relationships between the characters and fully grasp their reactions in certain situations. I suggest reading all of the books in the series in order, but it still holds a punch on its own.

Our heroine doesn't want protection, she just wants to pursue her career. But someone is out to kill her and that changes things quite a bit. And she might even learn he is not that bad to have around.

This book is part of a series but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required.

This is a romantic suspense story with and enemy-to-lovers theme to it. The story is well written and easy to read with well developed characters and an intriguing plot. I really like both our hero and heroine as they are both strong and independent in their own ways. The story moves at a good pace and the plot has several twists and turns to it that keep things interesting. Along the way, we get to see the chemistry between our characters develop, as well as a nice bit of steam. Overall, this is one complete package and a highly enjoyable read.

Highly recommended.

Liam Rowen crushed Jaz Keasley's fragile 11 year old heart when he not only rejected her but tattled on her to her brother and parents. Since then any contact they've had has been contentious. Now he's suddenly in charge of keeping her safe from a stalker. Yeah! That's going over like a lead balloon. Jaz is a woman on a mission in a male dominated world. She not only needs to but has to win the upcoming Clah of the Titans rock climbing event she's been training for almost night and day for months. By necessity, Liam becomes her traing partner as well as her support team. They finally take the time to clear the air and really communicate. Although their feelings go white hot his mission still is to ensure her safety. It takes all of her cunning, training and skill to stave off an attack that could mean certain death as Liam is seemingly helpless to intercede. Great suspence and hold your breath drama!

Will this truly be my last one?

3.5 stars rounded to 4. The story line was a good one. I said 2 books ago that I wouldn't read this author because the POV switched from 1st to 3rd. But I read a preview of Book 3 and saw both were in 3rd so I read that one and this one too. I need to go back and rate that one. But back to this one.

There was a lot of build-up around Liam being into BDSM. It made me think it was hard core. It wasn't. So if anyone dislikes hard core BDSM, this book is safe. I'm just so disappointed that the lead-up was so off the mark.

Also. The abrupt end to chapters is worse in this book. And the book needs a lot of editing. I couldn't figure out what was going on in some places because the wrong words were there and context didn't help.

The only reason this is rounded up is because Jaz was a strong character. Like really strong. Admirable. And I liked her from the other books and this book adds more depth to her.

Fifty shades ain’t got nothing on Liam.

His story is probably one of my favorites in the series. Although it is so hard to pick a favorite. Each couple is so vastly unique with a heart pounding, action packed story of their own.

Here you get the Trident crew but a more in depth look into what their childhood was kind of like. Not only that but Liam’s tastes are unique to the group.

Jaz is a ball of sass and a firecracker to boot. She’s absolutely amazing and these two together… 🥰🤯. Tons of snark and fun.

Favorite scene…the quick change. You’ll see 😜.

A m/f action packed romance. Tons of action, tension that melts the kindle and definite chemistry. A story of second chances, redemption, and perseverance.

I loved absolutely every minute of this arc and hope to have many many more Tridents to read about.

When I saw this book come up to read I was pretty excited. We have been reading these two characters this whole series and so to finally find out what actually happened and why they hated each other was finally here.

It was pretty obvious they were going to get together it was a matter of time and filling in the backstory which we got pretty early in the book. It was reasonably predictable but then saying that I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and it was nice to read more of these two characters as they have been in the fringe throughout the other books.

Both characters were engaging and enjoyable to read. It was great to read the other fellow characters in this book as well. I love how they all get along and have a great friendship.

This series has gone from strength to strength and I have to admit I’ve been waiting for Liam and Jaz’s story. Liam’s because he’s proven to have a number of issues and has barriers that were just crying out to be broken down, not forgetting his fetish for BDSM, and Jaz because she’s just such an amazing character, with a strong personality and a clear mind of her own. Plus together the pair were bound to be dynamite.

As always Alex Lidell hasn’t disappointed. This book is fast paced, smoking hot as well as having a great story. Lots of twists and turns, kept me flipping pages into the early hours of the morning. The cameo appearance of familiar faces made me want to head back to the beginning, which is something I will be doing over Christmas. You won’t be disappointed if you pick up this book. The Trident men and their woman are addictive!

The next instalment off the Trident Rescue this is Liam and Jaz story and wow I loved it. Jaz has know Liam since she was 12 years and she wrote him a love letter were Liam then embarrassed her by telling her parents about the letter and since then they have had hated each other. But Jaz is all grown up now but she is off limits because she is Liam best friends little sister but Jaz is keeping secrets from her family.

Jaz enters a rock climbing course and Has threats made towards her and with Liam being the head off Trident Rescue security he takes on the job off keeping Jaz safe but after a twist he ends up pushing her away which puts her in even more danger.

The story is full off twists and turns , action , secrets and betrayal and also love but also throw in Liams BDSM and wow what an explosive story line I love this series and would recommend you read the Trident Rescue book

Jaz is strong and determined as a competition rock climber when things start to go wrong. Her brother asks his best friend Liam, and his security firm, to protect Jaz. When things start getting worse, like her partner getting hurt in an auto accident, Liam takes charge of her protection himself. The chemistry is strong and the feelings are intense. Misconceptions, drama, danger, surprises, old foes and much more keep the tension high through the book. It hits a peak during the competition, high up in the mountain and others are also injured. The storyline flows well and the fast paced thrills come fast and hard. Decisions and feelings finally bring back a chance between Liam and Jaz. Great ending.

I didn’t realize I was jumping into the end of the series when I started the book. But I enjoyed it and didn’t feel lost. Author did a great job making it a standalone book. But I bet reading them in order would help build connection to the other characters.

Calling this an enemies to lovers seems a bit of a stretch. They both clearly have a crush on each other from the beginning—not enemies.

The story is good and fast paced. No boring parts in the middle.

But there were quite a bit of grammatical errors. Even the names were spelled wrong frequently. Which left it frustrating to translate.

They refer to the parents by their first names which I found irritating and confusing.

Heat level was decent but I’ve never understood the need to call female genitalia the sex. What? Are we so childish that we can’t use slang or real names?

I’d recommend but not something I’d read again.

Jaz has become an absolute favorite character. She is a strong, fearless athlete making her own way without her family's approval. After losing her inheritance in a scam, she doesn't want to admit to her family that she is almost broke. Getting sponsorship and succeeding on her own means everything to her, but her family thinks it's just a hobby and she needs to grow up. Liam sees the real her, but he is shaped by his past and can't commit to a relationship. His fears put Jaz's life in jeopardy and he almost loses her by trying to protect her. This was a fantastic book filled with great characters, thrills and suspense. It did get bogged down at times being too descriptive, but overall a very enjoyable read.

The one we’ve been waiting for

Liam and Jaz…what a build up and what a story!! All the stories have featured them individually and foreshadowed their attraction, but now we see how they come together and work towards an HEA. It was fun to see their backstories and all the work they did since previous stories focused on the outcome and not all the behind the scenes of these two. Fast paced and very adrenaline oriented there is outdoor adventure, family drama, friendships, loyalty, or nightmares, bombs, some old enemies and a dash of BDSM. The writing is great and dialogue full of snark, humor and wit. More characters were introduced and I hope we see more of them! Enjoyed it greatly!

I love this series and characters so much. I loved reading Jaz's and Liam's story. So much happens in this book with the threats on Jazs life but she does not let it stop her. Jaz has always been the happy upbeat character in the other books and I really enjoyed getting more of her personal story. Liam is so good hearted and he doesn't even seem to realize it. He financially supports his mom and sister no matter what they have done in the past but holds himself back from them. I really am glad to finally know why Jaz and Liam couldn't stand each other for a while. These to characters are perfect for each other. Lot of action and mystery in this book. Another perfect ending!

Another great addition to the Trident Rescue series!

I have been waiting for Jaz and Liam’s story and it did not disappoint! While this could be standalone, I would recommend reading the earlier books to really appreciate Jaz and Liam coming together. The chemistry between these two is scorching. It was great to learn the backstory of where their animosity started and watching them fight falling for each other. It was great to catch up with the other couples as well. Overall, Enemy Hold is a great read with everything you could want – romance, mystery, suspense and a happily ever after!

This is probably my favourite in the series so far. Liam is a very complex character, he was not born into an affluent family, his wealth has been earned by hard work, and he has a very different background to his friends. Jaz is more than off limits, being his best friend's little sister, and has secrets of her own. I loved this little excursion into the world of professionnal rock climbing and observing the battle of power between the two of them. Engaging and entertaining, I was gripped the whole way through this one.

Jaz has known Liam since she was a young teen so of course they hate each other. But danger strikes and Liam is on the job to protect his friends kid sister. But of course things do not go smoothly for the both of them as they cause each other problems. I laughed, I groaned but was entertained and could not put the story down. Had to see who the bad guy was and why he was targeting Jaz. And how he would be caught. And see if Jaz would end up killing Liam. Just a good story in the series.

Awesome!

I am not one for reverse harems or sci-fi, however you writing romantic suspense is simply awesome!
I am so glad I found this series. You're characters are completely entertaining, have every personality trait across the board, and are completely witty!
I love the verbal dialogue between characters, as well as internal. Some of it had me laughing out loud even while the situation was complex.
So, Ms. Lidell, you have anew addict, and on that note ...
NEXT ... !!!!!!!!!!!
