Excellent artwork and compelling story. I love the way Emilia explains world issues and contextualizes them in the story. It feels incredibly accessible for topics people often only learn about in depth during a women’s/gendered studies course. Some of the lines in the comic are just so excellent and really make you stop and think. I really loved this section of the story and it was a great conclusion (while still potentially leaving it open for a continuation).

Five stars because I'm literally in love with Emilia. Like we already established that last release.

Goods: Emilia and I have the same kind of humor so I spent the whole time cackling. I liked the thesis a lot: we really WERE put on this Earth to help each other, I love Maya and Billy and I liked that the ending left things open, as cliché as it was, because I would love see more of M.O.M.

Bads: the pacing in #2 and #3 felt off. I think this series should've been longer for the storylines to be solved satisfyingly. And I would've liked it if many of the supporting characters had gotten more development (which is to say: I want MORE 😩).

I really wanted to like this, because I adore Emilia and this whole concept, but it just felt heavy handed :( I think I just need it to be a little more subtle....? Just so that my brain can stretch a bit more.. but I think that for a younger demographic it might be better - just so that young women _and_ men can grow up with these concepts as the norm.

The villain was somewhat interesting, but not explored enough. The ending was quite cliche and could've been better.
