Encouraged by her best friend, and with her thirtieth birthday approaching, Calista Grant decides to take a long overdue vacation to the Caribbean. There she catches the eyes of two rich and smokin hot bachelors.
Zane Rhodes is a successful architect struggling with the guilt after the loss of someone close to him. Xavier Rivera is a millionaire that owns and runs several clubs and resorts. Intent on stopping his best friend Z from self-destructing, Xavier agrees to help him seduce the delightful Cali.
What starts out as a couple weeks of mutual pleasure, soon turns into more. Can Zane and Xavier overcome their personal demons before they lose Cali forever?
I enjoyed this one, but I didn't LOVE it. For some reason, I just never connected with these three characters on an emotional level. I'm not sure I can really pinpoint exactly why it just never felt like they had more than really good sex between them. Maybe there were too many sex scenes (OMG did I just type that?) and not enough just spending time as a trio together.
Zane is a bit less developed out of the three characters in my opinion. I often felt like he kept himself apart. Which is why I had trouble buying it was him that wasn't willing to let Cali go. My other issue was the relationship between Zane and Xavier (no they are not bi) but I've read A LOT of menage books and the male partners always have a VERY strong bond. These two just didn't have that. Yes, they were friends, but the appeared to have different lives apart from topping the same women occasionally. Which again left me confused on how this menage could possibly work on a more permanent basis.
The author has let me know that there is going to be a book two and the questions will be answered in that book. With that in mind, be aware this does end in a HFN (sort of cliffy)
All that said, the sex scenes were HOT. The plot was interesting and flowed well. The characters likable. There is certainly a lot of potential here with this author. So 3.5 stars from yours truly.

3.5 Stars - 4 Flames
Let me start by saying that this story has instant attraction, lust, flying by the seat of your pants and being down for whatever written all over it. Realistic? Not really, but enjoyable.
Calista (Cali) is an author. She writes erotic romance novels and has final been convinced by her two besties to take a long well-deserved vacation. Alone. In the Caribbean. Kudos to Cali, because the thought of vacationing by myself sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, but that's just me. While moping around her hotel room, she starts to remember why she's on this vacation and what her friends would be encouraging her to do. So she puts on the dress and heads to the bar.
Zane and Xavier are best buds. Very wealthy, dominant and "sharing", best buds. In fact, Xavier owns the resort. Realizing that Zane needed to relax and refocus after a tragic accident, Xavier convinces Zane to vacation at the resort. While on a walk, Zane notices Cali on her balcony. Xavier sees Zane noticing Cali and a plan is put in to place to enjoy one hell of a vacation, for everyone involved.
Cali, of course, agrees to the plan of being Zane and Xavier's submissive for the duration of the vacation. While their sub, she realizes that she actually IS a sub and is enjoying her time with them. Maybe a little too much. In fact, she's not the only one enjoying their time together. Both of the men are having a hard time wrapping their heads around the fact that they could see themselves with her, exclusively. But when Cali misunderstands a conversation she overhears, the potential of any future is left in the Caribbean. Or is it?
I'm always down for a good menage. This one doesn't disappoint. Although I did find the story a little choppy from time to time, it wasn't too hard to figure out where this was going. All in all, a good read and the scenes were VERY enjoyable.

So this should have been titled Captivating Days and Nights because that is exactly what this book did for me. I devoured every page. Have I ever mentioned how much I love to read an erotic romance just like this one?! Then there are the incredibly captivating characters of Cali, Xavier, and Zane. The chemistry sizzled from their first meeting and danced on the page. I was goner with these two alpha Doms.
Cali was so perfect living in Boston as a romance writer, but it these two magnetic Doms to crack that carefully constructed framework while she is on vacation and show her just the woman and submissive she truly was. Cali fit perfectly into Xavier and Zane’s life also. All three carried their secrets and struggles from the past that made me fall for them that much more. It brought a level of intrigue and a bit of drama to the story that I just loved. The pull or struggle only added dimension to these already addicting characters.
Then Anise added the exotic locale of the Caribbean. It came to life when I read the words and descriptions. I wanted to hop on a plane and head there myself! The beaches, the water, the scorching hot times in the suite! Ahhh! These men were caring, protecting, and wanted to bring Cali to heights of pleasure that I don’t think she ever imagined was possible. All of it just blazed white hot! You need to read!! I am not even going to spoil any parts. JUST READ.

This is the 1st book I've read by Ms. Storm. A novelist, a desperately needed a vacation on a tropical island. Cali has always sat in the background watching others enjoy life. This vacation is to be her turn to experience life. Z & X best friends, share women and have professions that complement each other. Find Cali irritable and are determined to help her experience all the small island, and each other. A Hot, Sexy, stimulating read keep you turning the pages to see what X & Z do next.

Captavating nights by Anise Storm.
I enjoyed this book. I liked the story. Wasn't sure about Xavier because of his comment about Cali. But he grew on me. I liked Zane from the start. I loved Cali and her two best friends Natalie and Emily. He was my favourite out of the two. I loved how they were protective of Cali. I loved the ending too. Perfect. 5*.

Anise Storm has risen to the top of my author list for erotic BDSM ménage stories! I had to turn my fan on high and restart my kindle a few times to stop it from overheating!

Calista Grant is a best selling author of romance, who has no luck in that department in her own life. She's always felt plain, and boring, so she doesn't really even try anymore. Her best friends talk her into taking a vacation to celebrate her thirtieth birthday, so she can let loose for once in her life. So against her better judgement, she takes off for a Caribbean paradise, while not fully sure how to finally let loose. The night Zane Rhodes, and Xavier Rivera spot the beautiful, and innocent brunette, they decide instantly, that they must own her, so they set out to seduce her. While they're fulfilling her every fantasy that she didn't even know she had, things start to quickly shift in their closed off, Dom hearts. But will they say anything to her before she leaves at the end of the vacation?
Captivating Hearts is a hot as hell story that I did enjoy quite a bit. The character development is good, with some interesting secondaries popping up here and there. But I didn't quite feel Calista's personality throughout most of the story, as I really wanted to see her more fired up from time to time. The flammable chemistry quickly EXPLODED into such FIERY FLAMES of sexy scene goodness, that no panties are safe from destruction, and I was sure that my kindle was going to melt. Anise Story has a super talented writing style that oozes sexiness that I couldn't get enough of. She added in a few twists that made for great OMG moments out of left field, and the emotions that came out of the alpha Doms, I physically felt. The ending was a bit rushed for me, but I cannot wait to read more of her work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this SIZZLIN' HOT story!

Captivating Nights (Boston Nights, #1) by Anise Storm This was my first time reading this author. Based on the synopsis I was curious as to the story this author was telling. I was not disappointed. Calista is a best-selling author of Erotica but her personal life is so far off from what she writes. Her friends have convinced her to take an exotic trip to a warm climate. At this resort she ends up meeting two men who can make all her erotic dreams come true plus she can experience the things she has only dare written about. Zane and Xavier are best friends who have been best friends and Doms for quite some type. They are such good friends that they even share their subs. However each has secrets and demons which have brought them to the island for some down time. When Zane sees Calista she stirs something in him and Xavier is down to help his friend feel better plus sharing her would be fun. First they have to convince Calista to participate in their little game. Thiers is a story that was more than I could have expected and I was pleasantly pleased with what happened between the three of them. I read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I give this story 4.5 stars. I look forward to the continuation of their story.

Anise Storm is a new to me author and she says she is “a new Erotica author, specializing in BDSM and Ménage.” Well, let me tell you she may be new but, she knows how to write a “HAWT” book. I love ménage & BDSM so it is a win win for me!

Book 1 is Calista Grant’s story – she is an author and writes you guessed it erotica romance novels. She is getting ready to celebrate her 30th birthday with going to a place in the Caribbean. Anise Storm is a new author for me so when I started reading Captivating Nights I couldn't help but devour it.
After being pushed out of her comfort zone by her two best friends author Calista Grant leaves for a tropical vacation. Hoping the exotic location will inspire her writing Calista decides to open her mind to the possibilities. But when she meets sexy Zane Rhodes and Xavier Rivera she is shown just how endless the possibilities are.
This was a great read. Perfect for that vacation getaway or just enjoying a relaxing day at home.
One of the best aspects of Captivating Nights was how Zane and Xavier showed Calista a sensual side of herself that was waiting. For her it was one thing to write about the sexual acts that pushed her limits but experiencing them in reality let her discover her inner submissive.
The chemistry this threesome shared burned hot and dirty. The men might have felt that they were in charged but as the story progresses Calista had them enthralled.
I thoroughly enjoyed this steamy erotica and look forward to reading more from Anise Storm.

3.5 Hot Caribbean Menage Stars
I enjoyed this book....the erotic/BDSM elements were HOT and very well done (at times I felt like I needed a fan or a cold shower to cool of!) I just feel like there could have been MORE...more character development, more meat to the story.
Calista (Cali) Grant is talked into going on a fantasy vacation by her two best friends, Natalie and Emily...and she definitely HAS the fantasy vacation of her life!!! Cali is a successful author of erotica/BDSM novels who experiences everything she has ever written in her novels (and soooo much more!) She leads a simple, lonely life with her writing and her besties to keep her company, always in control of everything in her life! The two men she meets (Xavier Rivera and Zane Rhodes) on a secluded Caribbean island are two of the hottest, alpha Dom's (and best friends) that she could ever hope to meet....can she possibly give up her need to control every aspect of her life to experience what these two have to offer? Can she do it AND keep her heart intact?
I wish I could give this book a higher rating, but I just feel like there was so much more to these three intriguing characters...

Anise Storm is a "new to me" author and I have to tell you, with Captivating Nights I was VERY impressed! Similar to Cherise Sinclair's Masters of the Shadowland series, This book had that great BDSM theme with terrific, sexy, patient, endearing Doms that had me wanting to fall to my knees. I loved Calista who was such a sweet woman willing to explore the world of Doms and BDSM and who turned out to be a wonderful submissive and a beautiful person.

The hottest book I read this month
Darn! This book is so effing hot. I am not a fan of threesome but this book is explicitly delicious. The story is so unique. It is hard to put it down. You might need a fan with you to cool off or take a cold shower. It is not only an amazing read but it is emotional as well. Prepare a Kleenex for your safety. It is also a beautiful story of friendship.
I would LOVE to visit the setting of this story especially that is getting cold here in NY. Calista is unexpectedly experienced from fiction to reality. It is such a beautiful love story of three people who is willing to share their love for each other. The power of letting go is so amazing so you can move forward. I am so looking forward to read more about this trio. I so loved reading this book. Cali Grant has been rather bland, inexperienced her entire 29 yrs. She never experienced love but wrote about it. A successful author, Cali always thought of herself as less than spectacular, everyone around her beautiful, and amazing. W/the pressure of her friends, Cali decides to take a 2 week vacation to a tranquil island in the Caribbean.

Calista finally taking some time for herself with a mighty shove from her best friends, a tropical island, peace and quiet and solitude all high on Calista's list for the perfect getaway, but sometimes you don't always get what you want... sometimes it can bring you so much more than you ever expected and for calista her tropical paradise just hit a whole new degree of heat....
This book delivers some hot and sexy scenes which will raise your body temperature along the way, I found it hard to get into the book but once you have started reading it becomes more enjoyable it does lack a certain depth and feels rushed in places and I personally found it hard to build a connection with the characters.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.
It was Calista’s and her friends talked her into going to theCaribbean for NewYears and 30th birthday it would be out of Boston. Calista wanted to let go and not be herself but she what she encountered was big surprise. Even though Calista was a writer of romance her own life was drab. Cali booked this vacation at an all inclusive resort where she could unwind and her fantasies could be fulfilled. When she gets to room she was amazed how beautiful the room was with a floor to ceiling windows. Zane’s friend Xavier dragged him to the island to take a break at the resort. Both were Dominants and they would go to the same club and share. Cali went to sit outside when she sees this woman sitting all alone. Cali could see Zane and Zane could see Cali but never said anything. Xavier came over to talk to Zane and they talked about Cali. Zane asked Xavier if he knew who she was but he had to have her. Cali decides to move out of her comfort zone she got dressed up and went to bar. Zane and Xavier had been watching her all day and now Xavier was going to make his move. Cali couldn’t believe how turned on she was as he whispers in her ear. They go back to Xavier’s villa they started to kiss one another and then she feels another set of lips on her. Zane and Xavier had there way with her and the next morning when she wakes up they still wanted more. Captivating Nights has made me want to be a Y to my very own X & Z. I want what Cali was given by X & Z - she was cherished, devoured and pushed to her limits.
The three main characters all had something that the other needed in order to repair and take a plunge with their hearts. I cannot believe how much emotional baggage these characters had but it just gave them all such depth and I loved watching them all figure it out.
Cali immediately had me within the first few chapters and then X & Z - can two guys be any more dominant, possessive and selfless in the way they brought Cali to her knees.
X & Z both had such strong individual traits and then Cali comes along and it was like a three piece puzzle was solved with one night of passion. I enjoyed watching as they kept putting that puzzle back together each night at the resort and each time it was harder for them to break apart in the morning.
I am glad the author did not go too dramatic with Cali's diving adventure, the way she entwined that into the story for Zane to have his moment on enlightenment was perfect.
Tears in my eyes with the ending and Captivating Nights is going to my menage shelf to pick up again.

The book wasn't poorly written, but it did feel very slow. There were a few scenes that didn't really seem to provide a point and were rather boring. I struggled to finish the book. Regarding the BDSM, I thought it was mildly amusing and pointless that she had safe words, but her doms occupied her mouth nearly all the time, so even if she wanted to stop, she had no way to telling them. Unless they just "read her mind."
Cali is a very insecure woman whose life is uneventful. She's sort of a pitiable thing who falls lust first for these two men who kind of... almost creepily sweep her off her feet.
Xavier and Zane are likable characters, although they seemed to come off as caricatures sometimes. Xavier definitely had more of an emotional presence, and I didn't really get why they were crazy about Cali in such a short amount of time besides repetitive generic statements that she was "beautiful." I would've been interested to see why they always shared subs as well. Their relationship dynamic was a curiously odd but never delved very much into.

I love a book that is not only hot and steamy to read but also has a great story to it. This is about three damaged souls, Xavier, Zane and Calista, that just happen to be in the same part of the world at the same and cross paths. Thus is supposed to be a vacation hook up that is casual and experimental but it becomes so much more. Before anyone can communicate their change of feelings a partially eavesdropped on conversation blows everything apart. Can these three come together one more time to set the record straight? Can they take the chance and put their hearts out there? Lastly, is it all worth it? Of course it is! What a great read, has all the excited and twists to keep you flipping the pages to the very end.

Cali's just a quiet woman who prefers solitude, not like the gregarious and enigmatic men who've infiltrated her world and turned it upside down. But this thing they have is just temporary – there's no way it'll translate to real life, right?
CAPTIVATING NIGHTS is the first book in the Boston Nights series by Ms. Storm, and my first novel by the author. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure it'll be my last. I didn't care for many aspects of this book, but I'll just share a few. First, the writing style drove me absolutely insane. Ms. Storm used 25 words when 10 would suffice almost every single sentence. It made this read so much more drawn out than it needed to be, and the story just wasn't good enough to justify it. Additionally, it was confusing as hell at times, and I found myself repeatedly having to double back more than once to figure out exactly what was happening. Finally, I hated all 3 MC's. Cali was irritating as hell, the men were both smarmy and too broody for my enjoyment. Their first sexual encounter was absolutely ridiculous, and when Cali wakes up the next day tied up...she sure gets over "Oh no, I've hooked up with serial killers!" mentality quick for the promise of more orgasims. All around, CAPTIVATING NIGHTS did anything BUT captivate me, and it's not a book I recommend picking up, even for diehard fans of menage storylines.
Bottom Line: No OM/OW, MFM sharing; condom use; BDSM/kink; no sexual assault; no violence/murder.
