Whew things are heating up with the crew!! This was battle of BDE in book three and I was all the way here for it! I loved Rahkim and I loved Naeem! If these were the options Dijon had to choose from, I’d say winner winner vegan chicken dinner!
Dijon is the princess of the Black family and only girl! To say she falls under a blanket of protection is an understatement! There would be serious hell to pay messing with her and unfortunately this affects the budding relationship that she desires to have with Rahkim. As the friend of Hassan, it’s clear that Dijon is off limits and one thing you don’t do is go against the Blacks. The heart may want what it wants but unless it wants to stop beating you do not fk around!
Naeem has a past that causes him to be emotionally unavailable! After taking a huge loss in his personal life he’s finally on the path to some sort of a recovery. Taking his mental health seriously, his therapist makes a recommendation that puts him in the path of Dijon. As the two become acquainted they quickly realize that their worlds are more intertwined than they initially thought. Just when things were going well, Naeem’s path comes barreling into his present and threatens to jeopardize everything they’ve worked towards including his future with Dijon!
Off to book four because baby there are questions that need answers!!!

More involved
With each book I feel more invested in this series. I'm rooting for relationships, happy about pregnancies, etc. It's funny the family is deadly & possessive, I think the Mothers need their stories told. Who knows - I have 8 more to go. It could happen.

Woahhhhhhhhh baby
I know you lyinggggggggg to meeeeeeeeee. What an ending JESUS. For a minute I really thought it was going to be something between Dijon and Rakim but I guess it wasn't meant to be. What she found with Naeem is special. But with the information that Savant just got I just hope this doesn't ruin what they trying to build. That judge of a father is shady and I don't like it.

Loved the beginning of this book. I was so happy that after three(or four I can’t remember which one this is) books that we got too know the only sister in the group. Dijon was such In interesting character and I’m happy we got to see her entire story. However, towards the end it started too drag a little bit. But over all it was a great read I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Woah Slight Spoiler, Sorry
I really enjoyed A Heart’s Rejection. This story was definitely different, it wasn’t all mushy and love. I was rooting for Dijon throughout this story, I just wanted her to find love. So it made my heart smile when she did. But then I read that damn epilogue.

Rejection is protection
Whew. This has been my favorite in the series so far.
Dijon and Rakim had been in love a long time. However, Rock's loyalty to his son and their families were his first priority. After it was all said and done he was unable to choose Dijon first. Dijon felt that rejection deeply and vowed that she would only love again with someone that could love her out loud and openly.
When Dijon met Naeem her first words were you are beautiful. She was mesmerized by him at first sight. He was a complex man. Quiet in nature, articulate, selfless, sweet, open to communication, a natural protector by trade and by heart. Naeem had lost his entire family 10 years ago and to avenge their deaths he killed as many people tied to it as possible. He earned his freedom, but had many dark moments. He loved animals and that brought him to Dijon's spa. He too was immediately mesmerized. Their connection was unmatched. He found himself wanting more with her.
Dijon had found someone that would finally put her first. He made it known with Rakim and her brother's that she was his. He built her up throughout this story and it was beautiful.
That Epilogue though I was not ready, I'm scared how it's all gonna shake out.

When B. Love writes the perfect man and you wanna be happy Dijon ended up with him but also want him all to yourself.
It's been a while since the last time I stayed up until the early hours of the morning reading a book I couldn't put down but it was definitely worth it! I LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!
Dijon definitely ended up with the right man for her, there is just no doubt about it. She got what she deserved and needed and it makes my heart happy.
That ending though!!!!! Nothing could have prepared me for it and it has me anxious AF but I know things will work out the way they're supposed to so I'm keeping an open mind.
I'm reallllllllllyyyyyyyy excited for both Rakim and Naeem's books and I don't even know how long I'm gonna have to wait for them but I know they're gonna be worth the wait.
I can't wait to get my hands on Savant's book especially after that epilogue (he's gonna be my second favourite, I just know it) and I already loved his girl from the very first scene!!!!!! Vixen better get her own book too because I know it's going to be amazing and I just want her to heal.

3.5 stars... Dijon is the princess of the mafia. She has had a love for Rakim since high school. Rahim is in the mafia and is the head of security. Dijon really wants to have a relationship with Rakim, but with him being in the mafia and her being the baby sister to the Black brother, that's almost impossible.
This book takes you on the journey of Dijon, a girl who just wants to be loved. Originally, it's all about Rakim, the forbidden love. Along comes Naeem he's said his heart is not open for love but with time comes opportunity.
I just wish Naeem was introduced earlier or in a better way. A better segue to introduce him would have been so much better. We were halfway through the book and bam a chapter on Naeem. I will still continue reading the series. I think Savant's story is next.

Love is always on time!
This series keeps getting better and better!! Dijon’s story give us glimpses of where she is on her journey of growth and her journey to love. This book is probably my favorite out of the series so far because it’s so heartfelt and real. It definitely keeps its street edge , but the love stories that Dijon shares with Rakim and Naeem truly give it such emotion and depth. Speaking of Naeem, what a damn man!! From the first time we meet him until the end he is captivating and everything a woman wants in a man. This story is perfection to beginning to end, and speaking of endings…WHAT?!! Read this series, you will be entertained from start to finish!

This review is for all 3 in this series. I started reading the first book and became hooked. The characters, I love love love. The storyline, is awesome.
I could not put these books down at all! I recommend the books to anyone who loves drama, love, relationships and mayhem. Ridiculous. And when I say that word, its because it is awesome! Make these books your next read. I am so glad I did. B. Love, I thank you. You are rising as one of my top authors. I am a hard person to like some books. Of all the books, I enjoyed this one the most! I’m not sure if it was because of all the different emotions I felt reading Dijon’s quest to obtain real love or the unpredictable ending! For a lot of people, the quest to find real love is hard as it was for Dijon. I was really rooting for her and Rakim but once she joined the mafia I truly understood he was protecting her and him as was Hassan. Naeem was a totally different lover who checked all the boxes for Dijon. I’m curious to see how the next book play out with his wife Destiny being alive!

Loved this book! Definitely a page turner from start to finish. I love me some Rakim and hope he finds love and happiness, but baby Naeem! Dijon is the light to Naeem’s darkness and I absolutely love them together. That ending though, got me like WOAH! What will become of the new couple once everything in the dark comes to light? I can’t wait to hear Savant’s story, I’m crushing on all the Black Mayhem Mafia men! Great job by the author as always! I’m ready for the next 5 star read!

A Must Read!
This was my favorite book so far in the series (that’s saying a lot because the series has been great so far)! It was so easy to connect to Dijon’s character throughout her journey to find a custom made love- from a man that could love her out loud. Even though she doesn’t end up with the person I wanted her to, I think she ends up with the right one. With all of the love in her heart she deserved a a man that could openly giver her that same love right on back! I’m excited to hear more about their journey!

A good book
Omg it’s going to be some mess in part 4 the OG older brother Savant black story . Neema wife is alive and she’s wants her husband back. While Neema is in love with Princess Dijor Black the only sister of the Assad Hassan black The Boss of the Black and Mayhem Mafia. Dijor heart may get broken for the 3 Rd time. The Question is will Savant tell Neema that his wife whom he thought was dead I’d actually alive . We shall see in this finale. I know it’s going to be good.

Where is my Naeem at????? He was EVERYTHING!!!!! Dijon was really waiting to exhale and I felt her! She was settling when she didn’t need to. Thinking stuff was when it wasn’t. Poor thing was just confused and when she wasn’t looking she got knocked off her feet. I cannot wait to read the next book. Because her story is not over yet and her brother’s story is just beginning. I am looking for something long and good! Please please write something long about Naeem!!!! This was really good and I know Savant’s will be too!

This is so messed up!
Why tho? Just why? Dijon almost had it all. I'm so shocked and mad I could cuss. Why baby Jesus? I'm so invested in this series that I want book 4 tuhday. You did not have to do it like that, B. It is about to go down, and I am here as always for the drama and foolery. Mane!!!!!! Gots to be mo careful. This book got me over here singing, "Is This The End" by New Edition. My head hurts and I'm nervous. I'm rubbing my chest and shoulders and scratching my head like I'm niccin'. Hur'rup with this release man. I dont know how much longer I can wait.

LOVED IT
This series just keeps getting better and I love how the introduction to these characters in book one now leads to their stories both past and present. I loved Dijon's story because we really didn't get much about her from the other books besides she's part of the Mafia. She definitely had a journey in finding love. Although her first love didn't turn out as she hoped, someone new on the scene definitely captured her heart like no other. Rooting for Dijon and Naseem. But after that ending, I'm not to sure if a happily ever after will be.

The Heart Wants What It Wants
I have been wrestling with what to say exactly how good this story was or how the leading lady kinda got on your nerves a little. The writer gives us such an compelling story that's quite complex. I love that we get a pair.of adults that not only behave like adults but we get grown men on their gangsta. This was not only a really good read but it touches the heart and the saying "if you love someone,sometimes you have to.set them free". This was a grown up.sexy.read.that has something for.everyone.

Rollercoaster Ride
While the sexual tension between the characters keeps you invested, I felt cheated. You never really get to see Dijon finally conquer her battles with doubt and over thinking. I would have loved to see if she truly remained happy and made the best decision in who she choose. Occasionally things would shift and not feel consistent with the flow of the story. However I will read the next book in hopes of seeing some things developed, that weren’t in this book.

Ok so I was loving Rock and D together and hoping love would concur all but Y’ALL B. Love always finds a way to make you look at stories in a different way. Romance books always show love concurring all in the end but that’s not life. Dijon’s story was complicated and it will make you frustrated. But (not to give too much away) just keep reading. Throw the book but go pick it back up and just keep reading. The ending was perfect! Now I’m running to read the next book because it gonna mess us up all over again! I love your writing B. Love

Couldn't put it down.
So I may be alone in this but I really hope Destiny don't come back and try to mess up on them progress Naeem has made. So many questions I can't wait for his book. But Dijon coming into her own was amazing. It's like you could see her growth through the pages. To be able to walk away from love to get what you deserve takes so much strength. I love it. I can't wait to see if Rakim finds love.

Every book in this series I say that one is my favorite but I think for real this time Dijon story was my absolute favorite. It was so relatable. The whole vibe with Rock and then the meeting of Naeem. I truly loved this book but I’m ready to read Vant story cause that epilogue had me holding my chest. Lol!!! I truly enjoy your writing style!! Again the story being based in my city of Memphis gives the vibes too!! Can’t wait to continue!

Dijon + Rakim + Naeem
This series just keep getting better. I am so invested now. I really like Dijon, she is spoiled as the Black Mayhem Mafia Princess but also tough and holds her brothers accountable with their women.
Anyway, Dijon and Rakim… hated it. I feel like this was more of an infatuation thing than love. Almost like, the more people tell you NO, the more you want it. They are infatuated with each other because of close proximity. They were cute, but the real story is…
