A chance letter speaks off a transatlantic literary romance between two writers, one British, one American, in which they share their unhealthy and unfashionable passions for military men, cruising and cats.
Having it on my Read shelf is misleading. It should be on my Tried to Read shelf. I made it to page 39 where Mark Simpson writes, "I mean, how many of them (gay guys) really want to spend the rest of their lives in the company of other gays, tormented all the while by the knowledge that gay love is the only kind of love they're going to get?"
Uh...so many things wrong with that sentence. Dude has major issues.
Interesting read. Startling in a sense of the true impact the military has on a brain. The good witch in Oz said it best. Come out, come out where ever you are.
