As a dedicated Carly Kade fan, this series starts out great and just keeps getting better and better! Once I started reading Beyond Eight Seconds, I could hardly put it down. I smiled, I laughed, and then, I was on the edge of my seat! Kade has so much talent that I feel as if the characters are real people. Readers will love this book regardless but, if you are a horse owner (as I am) and a rodeo fan, you'll find satisfaction in the knowledge with which Kade writes about her chosen subject area. I'm already looking forward to her next release!

I was an ARC reader for Carly Kade's, "Beyond Eight Seconds", the fourth book in her Western Romance series. While the first books in the series feature mainly characters Devon's and McKennon's rocky early relationship and their complicated histories prior to meeting, this book has JD's character (who is originally a more secondary character) stepping into the spotlight. JD's background as a professional bull rider piques the interest of Devon's PR agent, Everly (a newly added character), who sets her sights on his handsome face and becomes his PR agent, only to get more than she bargains for. JD, too, will wonder what he's gotten himself into under the allure of Devon's "city gal" friend.
Anyone who reads Romance, Western Romance, Horse Books, or is a devoted fan of Kade's novel series will not be disappointed in this fourth book. It is the continuation of Devon's and McKennon's love affair while adding surprisingly dramatic moments between JD and Everly. Be prepared to have things heating up in this novel!
