An excellent read!

Good isn’t the right word for this book. It was on the edge of the seat! The author seemed to know just the right words to put me, the reader, right there in the book. I will be reading more of his work. Only thing the author could do to make it better would be to make an audiobook of the story. Please, do that!

Slow Moving Verbose Descriptions

Although significantly informative of the Korean cultures and occasionally entertaining action, Robins' writing style slows the reader with way too much unnecessary explanations of each scene and character's reasoning to the point it's distracting throughout!

Kept me on my toes and I enjoyed the international drama. This is not a typical genre for me, but I found it exciting, suspenseful, and a little horrifying when it got into the torture methods. It’s nice to read a clean thriller though.

Thoroughly enjoyable and believable book. Was pacy with the right amount of angst and self doubt. Would recommend it.

Well-written thriller, kept my interest. Believable characters, credible plot. Maybe was a little slow in setting up for the climax, but it got very exciting about three-quarters of the way through.
