The daily reflections were intriguing and edifying, but what I really appreciated were the daily/weekly commitments. Having a new focus/theme each week really helped me grow and more often than not, I found myself actively trying to accomplish them throughout the consecration period.

Although some of the reflections were a bit discursive, I found out I could easily take away at least one main point from most of them.

Another downside was some of the terminology, language, and prayers were a bit convoluted (think KJV version of the Bible), but I managed.

Moving on, there were a few moments where I felt St. Joseph was being exalted over Jesus Christ, but the author clarified this by saying this is a consecration TO Jesus THROUGH St. Joseph and not the other way around.

Overall, I found the daily reflections, weekly themes, and weekly challenges to be extremely helpful in my faith walk and my relationships with Jesus, Mary, and of course, St. Joseph. I rate it a solid 4/5.

Holy Family of God, pray for us.
