For sure this concept of a series is not something you are used to and for me, it took some time until I was truly into it. So when I started with Rush, I never expect those characters to grow on me this strongly. I slowly fell for each and every one of them.
It's like I found a new TV series to watch: you see all those train wrecks coming but you just can't look away. And you just need to know where this is all going.
The Palm South University Series is highly addictive and I highly recommend starting it NOW!

This series has been so much fun. It's like your favorite tv series in book form. It has the right amount of drama and mix of characters. I can't wait to continue the rest of this series, I'm totally invested.

Rush
Just like how it's described, it's like your favourite drama television show! I really enjoyed this book. There is so much going on and it keeps you entertained the whole time. You're rooting for some, hating others and wishing things were different for the rest! It ends very much on a cliffhanger, ending just as everyone is going on Christmas break. There is no way you won't be buying the next book to see what happens next!

Ahhh where to start! Rush was fun and entertaining, but after reading Anchor, I realize it was just an introduction and this book dove further into the PSU realm and was amazing! I loved this book. It was exciting, fun, heartbreaking, scary and left me so emotional. Every character goes through so much. Some with "less equipment and rougher paths" as Kandi writes but all up the same mountain. This book really touched my heart and left me speechless. Can't wait to read Pledge!
Pledge
This series just keeps getting better and better! I absolutely loved this book and I could not put it down! As the group at PSU try to overcome past experiences and they're thrown into new challenges, and you feel like you're right there along for the ride. You can literally see them grow and mature as you read. New and old heartbreak keep you feeling emotional and unsure what could happen next! Now onto Legacy!

Review for Rush:
5 Rushing stars! Why did I wait so long to read this?
This centers around friends, college life, Greek life, parties, friendship and sisterhood! Lots of hookups going on in this one! I’m loving the dynamics of the characters Cassie, Erin, Jess, Ashlei, Bear and Adam!
Bear and Skyler are two best friends!
Cassie likes Adam, but Adam has more eyes for Skyler. Then there’sJess J-Love, and her commitment issues. Erin is your hardworking to be a leader of the sorority girl... but has some deeper personality elements I can’t wait to read about. Then we have Ashlei and her fantastic hobby! Can’t wait to read more about them!
The stories and shenanigans continue for these sorority sisters and all things a Greek Life! Lots of angst, secrets, hookups and breakups, affirmations in relationships with some serious subject matter for one of the sisters.
There’s additional character development where we learn more about these characters making a place in our hearts.

Oh my, where to start with this book....Sooooo much angst between some of our couples!
Adam/Cassie and Grayson. What a story there. Grayson’s jealousy causes some issues between Cassie and Adam’s friendship. Cassie really struggled with her feelings for Adam in this book..it all leads to a huge buildup and forcing her to do something she really didn’t want to do. She soon finds her choice was the wrong choice leading to revelations of whim she should have chosen all along!
There is one breakup that occurs that completely breaks my heart!
Erin continues to work towards her Presidency meanwhile hiding her trauma she experienced. She has struggling with trying to avoid what happened with her.
The characters are so interwoven with another and the writing is superb! It’s 7 characters with separate storylines that all mix in together fir one fantastic story!

Rush:
I love Kandi’s writing style and after falling in love with Black Number Four I knew I waited long to rejoin my friends at PSU and man, I was not disappointed. I’m involved and invested in each of their lives and I’m so glad I can continue their crazy rollercoaster episodes immediately!
Anchor:
Anchor jumped right back into the PSU drama and didn’t disappoint. It was an amazing rollercoaster that kept me hooked wondering what my friend was up to while being shocked and award by another. I’m driving right back into the drama, desire and intrigue of Palm South University immediately!
Pledge:
The entire PSU series has been completely addictive. Like a favorite tv show you can’t help but binge. The girls are in the back of my mind while I’m not reading like best friends I can’t wait to catch up with.

I am a big fan of Kandi Steiner, and I am always eager to dive into new series. While I have enjoyed all the series I have read from the author, the Palm South University series is my favourite.
The Palm South University series is one that hooked me from the start. There are multiple storylines to follow throughout the series and all will have you hooked throughout. Everyone will have their favourites, but the author does a wonderful job of ensuring you’re hooked on all. Everything is sure to keep you turning the pages, eager for more, ensuring it hits multiple spots.
Without a doubt, the Palm South University series is well worth the read. Although my favourite book in the series comes later, the first three books – Rush, Anchor, and Pledge – are all wonderful.

How had I not read this series before!? Such wonderful characters that come from different walks of life that somehow blend together. So much angst yet a sense of belonging and knowing your sisters and brothers have your back. Knowing the backgrounds of each character makes this book so intriguing! Had I joined a sorority when I went college this is exactly how I would picture it. Can’t wait to dive into the rest of the series!

This was a lot
This was a lot to take in… it was a lot of people to follow and a lot of drama but hey the author warned you how these books were going to be. It took a minute for me to grasp all the characters. But overall they are unique in their own stories but how they also overlap and intertwine with each other. Some things are a little over the top but hey that makes for a fun read right? They are in college after all…

Palm South University was an instant addiction for me! Reading these episodes felt like watching a binge-worthy college campus drama like 2007’s Greek, but with juicier plotlines ala Gossip Girl, and the sexcapades of Sex/Life circa 2021. You also have a friend group setup that is dynamic and fun but also heartwrenching. Each character is so unique from the others, and I loved having 7 different voices, perspectives, and experiences to dive into.
This book series hit a home run for me, and I cannot wait to dive into Kandi Steiners’ backlist!

Hard to put down
Although this was a fiction, it is loaded with the painful growing pains of moving into adulthood, the excitement of college life along with realistic depictions of complicated relationships and everlasting friendships. What I liked best was the author not shying away from difficult topics.

Fantastic
I love love love this box set. Full of angst, passion, fun, and heart. I fell in love with the characters straight away and loved reading their stories. I cried, laughed and loved with them all. Can't wait to read the next in the series.

This book follows the lives of Skyler, Clinton, Adam, Erin, Ashlei, Beau and Cassie and they navigate their way through sorority life. It isn’t always easy but despite heartbreak, they find out who will always be there for them. This was a great start to the series and I am ready for book four.

There were too many different POVs in this book to my liking. It confused the hell out of me. And the book left me with a sense of immaturity.

I love this format. It totally reads like a t.v. show with episodes. While each book focuses on a couple, all the characters are in each book furthering the plot as a whole. The drama is delicious, full of friendship, angst and spice. I devoured this and I cannot wait to see how it all plays out in the rest of the series.
