Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you." So why are we still wracked with stress and anxiety? Why do we look at our world, our own churches and neighborhoods and see anything but peace? What causes this disconnect between what we read in Scripture and what we often experience in our own lives?

What a beautiful book! Create In Me a Heart of Peace is a six week Bible study that can be used in small groups or individually & my favorite part...it can be completed at your own pace! The author suggests that you "invest fifteen intentional minutes each day" to your Bible study. A mere fifteen minutes can help you create an entire day filled with peace. Each weekly topic is broken down into individual days. Each day includes scripture, questions (with space for writing answers), and a prayer. I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway, so thank you to Goodreads as well as the publisher, Revell and Baker Publishing. I am excited to get out my Bible and some highlighters and start the journey to a more peaceful me!
Although Becky Keife created this Bible Study with an audience of working moms in mind, it still provides a framework for creating a similar Study for more mature Christians, primarily retirees. Naturally, the Scriptures translate over without a hitch; and some sentences can just be omitted. It’s perfect for use in a small group, say ten to fifteen people … practical, hands-on, spiritual guidance for gaining more peace in your every-day life. …
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee.” —Isaiah 26:3
I really enjoyed this bible study for the first few weeks, but I felt the last 2 weeks repeated the same information. And the questions asked were sometimes very difficult to answer. However, I would definitely recommend it!
