I’m a USA Today bestselling author, and I’ve sold over 100 novels. Yes, 100! Needless to say, I write a lot. I’ve had the honor of receiving the Booksellers' Best Award for romantic suspense, the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award, and I was a finalist for the Rita. My books have been featured in Vogue, Woman’s Day and Woman’s World. I’ve also had nearly a hundred short stories and articles published in national magazines. I love hearing from readers, and you can contact me through my webpage at: www.deloresfossen.com.
I did not care for the book. Both books in the anthology were basically the same. The heroine is running from a killer. There is a baby involved. The heroine runs to the hero who she did wrong in the past. He has bad feelings toward her, but true to his calling (lawman), he helps her. All of the books in this series is about lawmen and cousins. They are either a sheriff, deputy, Marshall, Texas Ranger, or FBI agent. According to the blurbs for each book, a woman from the past with a baby comes for help.
Both books have someone trying to kill the heroine and get the baby. There is a lot of car chases and gun fights. Ironically no innocent bystanders are hurt. In fact, the only ones hurt are the bad guys, except for one woman in the last book.
I found both books unbelievable with all of the shooting, blowing up things, and car chases. The books read more like a TV show or movie. I have no interest in the other books of this series.
I just finished this book. I loved reading it very much. Both stories in this book was so full of action, excitement, and so much more. Full of a family of lawmen and them protecting those that they love.
I really liked both books. They kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. Plenty of action, suspense , and didn't have pages of sexy time scenes. Looking forward to reading more by this author.
