If you’re not talented enough, you have to consider efficiency — What you need is to choose and focus. - Woo Jin
Read @ch 67
A video game designer (Woo Jin) transmigrated into a game character he was designing Deculien. Deculien, is a mid-level boss and a named villain, and most definitely will die within 11 hours of game play due to the devious schemings the character have done. Woo Jin transmigrated into said character.
This story resemble's The Novel's Extra in a way, however, the character Deculien was more prominent and not obscure like the Main Character in The Novel's Extra transmigrated into. Deculien already has done several unforgivable things that developed several death flags when Woo Jin transmigrated. Unlike other stories, the character settings for Deculien directly affect Woo Jin, some are detrimental, however many are beneficial.
The story was told in multiple POVs, and it was entertaining to see how other character's draw their own conclusion. Deculien is a head professor and giving a lecture was part of the job. Woo Jin teaches in a way that stimulate the students abilities and characters. It was fun to see the POVs of the student and see their development.
The author does not fully disseminate the details in one go. The readers can only get glimpses of information on future events, details are only given when the situation permit. Obscurity play parts on what the story interesting, anticipation make you turn pages satiating the desire to complete the story.
Review may changed after reading the whole book. Waiting for more chapters and definitely hoping the story won't stagnate.
Very interesting but the author was better off writing a soap opera with all this deus ex machina driven drama. This is 1-10% a very interesting and vividly written novel and 90%+ a faux-love story about a pseudo-harem and all their tragic backstories. Tragic/love related misunderstandings are prevalent as well.
That I gave this 3 stars rather than 1 shows how great this is (or could be?). But unlike the novel’s extra, it’s not done well enough for me to force myself through all the bad parts. Probably due to the very many plot irrelevant POVs. Also the artificial suspense and annoying mysteries. And the unreasonable passivity of this proactive protagonist. Mostly the POVs though.

3.5 rounded up to 4 stars. Like what other people said in their reviews, many deus ex machina happened in the story, but i think it's fine since the theme is magic and fantasy. I really liked the story at first, but I'm dissatisfied with the ending. Like, idk it just felt rushed and nonsensical that my brain couldn't wrap around the things that happened in the ending. They didn't tell us a good reason why they suddenly got transported in their game. I don't know what to feel about the mc's "harem," or if you can even call it that. Also, idk why, but i feel so bad for Lia. Anw, the ending is a tragedy. My mind is torn whether I should recommend reading this or not, but I'm leaning to not recommend reading :/

About half way through. I would say this is a stronger book in the realm of web novels, limited by reading in a properly translated format. The time travel seems like a bit of a tack on but it is fun, while the impassive MC actually seems to give the other POV characters more depth. Worth a read if you don’t have any other things you’re looking to get through, but not a work of art either. In the realm of “isekai-ish” stories, though, this is a better one in terms of characterizations but it also relies on some MC overpowered capabilities which means I can’t place this higher than a 4 star.
Well begun is half done but this novel loses the idea of where to take the story right in the middle. Right now it's just a cash cow being milked to death by the author.
Story wise I didn't understand like half of the magic function and how it work cause brain small Though description etc everything was great One word tho : deculein dilf 🙏
This is going to go down if it turns out that one of the students is the love interest. So far this has reminded me of Academy's Undercover Professor. Specifically how they teach and the way they encourage their students. I do feel like there is a slight difference between both in terms of their interactions with the students. Specifically with how one of the students is being portrayed as possibly having a crush on him and his ex-girlfriend being in a child's body. I really hope things don't take a turn for the worse. Things may change as I haven't caught up with Academy's Undercover Professor, and this one is rather new.
