Whoa, there. Stop right now. You don’t want to read this.
Trust me: you really, really don’t want to read this. So back away slowly, hands up, and I won’t have to kill you.
They might, though. They might be willing to warm my bed, but I wouldn’t say I trusted them. Just a bunch of psychos, really.
My three f*ckboys, my three psychos.
Alexei Grove. God, what could I possibly say about him? How the mighty have fallen. Neurotic, violent, germaphobe. He hates to be touched; he hates the people who brought his family down even more.
Next, there’s Widow. Traumatized, edgy, unpredictable. Never have I seen a man so twitchy yet so alpha. Just … don’t make the mistake I did: don’t touch his f*cking car.
Lastly, there’s Bohnes. Oh, Bohnes … He’s the shadow of Prescott High. If you have enough cash, he’ll do anything. Literally anything—even bury a body. Also, he gave me severed fingers as a present. That must account for something, right?
Then there’s me.
I’m a boss-a** b*tch: I race cars and I always win. Rule is: if I can ride it, I can win it. What I can’t do is protect you.
So, here’s my final warning: run, don’t walk. Better yet: ride. Ride hard, ride fast, and don’t look back.
If you see my boys in the rearview, it’s already too late.
Love, Scarlett Motherf*cking Force
F*CKBOY PSYCHOS is a 105,000 word mature high school/new adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. This book contains a lot of foul language and sexual scenes; any sex featured is consensual. This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. The Scarlett Force series will conclude with a happy ending. This is book one in the series.
C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.
She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.
Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. She's already looking forward to it.
i love this author but this book was fucking corny, i had to dnf which i never do and it hurts that it was by an author i enjoy often but what the hell? i only read 3 chapters and couldn’t take it. first off any book that starts off talking to me as a reader is a no, it’s childish, it’s giving middle grade. second off the author wanted me to believe the main character was this bad bitch that everyone was afraid of but it wasn’t believable? like she tries to kiss this new guy at her school on his first day to steal his keys but like… who kisses someone they don’t know? not to mention there’s a part where she’s saying that her and her best friends (girls) beat up pedo’s and they like to squish their balls with their heels ….okay. like maybe i’ve outgrown high school dark romances cus this shit.. was wack. the crazy part is i had all this to say and i only read 3 chapters.
Let me start off by saying, Congratulations on an excellent series opener! Scarlet is a force to be reckoned with and she’s definitely queen! I got a girl crush on her big time! I love every single character in this series. Alexei, Bohnes, Widow, and Aspen.. you figure out which one is my favorite . There’s some serious four play and heat but that just makes me crave book two more.. The writing and telling of each one of these characters stories is phenomenal. It’s one of the best series author CM Stunich has started in awhile and that’s really saying something considering I’m a huge fan of her work. She’s a one click author for me and by far my go to for rereads. I love that while Scarlet is Queen b she’s also trying to make a life for herself after high school. She may not be doing it the right way but she’s doing it the only way she knows how. Each of the guys has mountains of issues but they aren’t so closed off to her. I can’t wait to see this story progress.. There are many things at play here so it will be interesting to see how it all comes together .it’s going to get crazy and I’m definitely here for it.
I wanted to like this because I love Havoc, but this was a mess. I understand that this is its own story, so going in, I didn’t expect the Havoc boys 2.0. But I did think it was reasonable to expect a coherent story and relationships that are worth caring about.
One issue right off the bat is that in RH books, it works much better if the guys are already a close knit group. This is one where the guys start as strangers. Another issue is that their personalities are lacking. Bohnes feels like a pale imitation of Cal from Havoc, and I’m insulted for Cal that this boy who is basically “What if Hot Topic was a person?” has stolen some of his traits. Alexi and Widow are both pale imitations of Oscar, and the last guy has a plot straight out of a soap opera, with an evil twin. I wish I was joking.
The relationships involve a lot of Scarlett thirsting after them while they seem uninterested, which makes her look pathetic. Bohnes is the only one chasing her, but they barely talk and she even refers to them as "basically strangers.” So it’s hard for the reader to feel a connection there.
Scarlett feels like a combination of Bernie from Havoc and Gidget from Stunich's MC series, but she's less compelling than either of them. We meet Scarlett when she’s already at the top of her game, a queen at Prescott High. So, that automatically puts the reader at an emotional distance from her, since we didn’t go on the journey of her rise WITH her. It also makes her arrogance off putting.
There’s nothing wrong with a main character who's already at the top. In theory, that’s a fresh departure from the countless books where the heroine starts out powerless. But if she already has all this power, then there are no stakes. The author has to include a reason for the reader to feel invested in her journey! The fact that she’s name dropped in Havoc isn’t enough on its own.
This book tries to have stakes, but the incoherent plot is all over the place. There's a vague threat from an Evil Developer that’s straight out of a Hallmark movie, car racing, an evil twin plot, and a plot with one of Scarlett’s friends, Lemon, who's acting foolish. This friendship plot with Lemon is dead in the water, since the reader never saw Scarlett and Lemon when they were on good terms. We’re only seeing Lemon be horrible, so when Scarlett is having Feelings about Lemon, it’s hard to care. We’re given no reason to be invested in the Lemon drama that takes up a huge chunk of this book.
More than anything else, this is a book that feels like it started in the wrong place. It’s not Scarlett's origin story, since she’s already a queen in Prescott when it begins. It’s not a revenge story. (We’re told that Scarlett got revenge in the past for an incident that killed some family members, why didn’t this story start there?!) It’s not a love story. (The guys are too cold and weird — in an unsexy way). It’s not a “how will this downtrodden girl survive her environment?” story, since she’s doing well for herself. It’s kind of trying to be a “save the town” story, but that lacks drama, since we know that Prescott will still look the same a few years later in the Havoc books. There's no clear reason why we’re jumping into Scarlett’s life at this particular moment, when her story is just…nothing much.
I can get past a book having a messy plot if it gives me characters worth loving (see: the Havoc series!) and I can get over bland characters if the plot is great. But if the plot is a mess AND the characters are more of a series of outfit descriptions than people with personalities, then what is the point?
4-4,5 stars ish in between that SCARLETT MOTHERFUCKING FORCE i fucking love her, one of my fave heroin´s probably<33 Where to start, this ride has been hella funny and bumpy and a bit bloody as fuck. I love the fact that our heroin Scarlett already has the power and is sitting on her throne as the queen she is, she has her crew and knows her shit about racing. It´s refreshing, usually we see the heroin´s journey to the throne but not this time. I also enjoyed reading from everyones Point of View, which helped a lot to actually get to know the guys especially and to know their minds/thoughts. My fave guy is all night everyday the possessive bastard Kellin Bohnes or just Bohnes, he is stalking her every turn, love to get fucked up and has no problem with killing someone for touching Scar. That´s my kinda guy, lol the crazy ones are the best. Widow aka Adrian Lawless is growing one me, i still have not seen enough of that guy. I know he reads romance, what a cutie. I liked when his possessiv side came out tho, i wanna see more of what he can do and about his past. A. Kelly aka Aspen (he was Aspen right? not Ash?) i had mixed feelings about him, but it probably has to be cuz of the mixing with his twin. I felt like i could not really read him he was more closed off i guess. More mysterious ish sort of i guess i could say bout him. Alexei Grove was the guy out of all of em we got to know the least i think so i am hoping we get to know him better in the next one. He had a bacteria/germs phobia and he could kick someones ass real quick. I did get a feeling he is more of a softie than the other guys , but i might be wrong. Poor him that ending thooo, you know what i am talking bout if ya read it I am satisfied with the ending, not really a cliffhanger thankfully more a what might happen in the future. I need the second book!!!
If you haven’t dropped everything you’re doing and picked up this book, you should because once you do, you won’t be able to put it down. Scarlett, well she is everything I love in an fmc, she’s badass and cocky but she has the means to back it up.
She’s absolutely my favorite fmc that CM has created ever and that’s saying a lot!! She wants the men for one thing only and that’s to be her F-boys!! My girl is just looking for sex and I love that about her. But the MEN, they want her for more than just that.
They are OBSESSED with her, yearn for her, and I find the dynamic so enthralling, electric, and refreshing. I guess I have a thing for stalker boys and men so obsessed with the fmc they’d do anything to be with her. Did I mention that some of the men are virgins, or that there’s a hilarious germaphobe who needs people to be three inches away at all times. No? Well now I have, so what are you waiting for? Pick up this book and enjoy yourself some Scarlet MF Force.
Five Stars are not enough. I need infinite stars to rate this book!
I'm not into cars or racing, but this book made it sound so interesting and I'll probably search for more information about racing after this. That twist in the end! I'm glad I trusted CM because she did not disappoint. I was scared when I read the prologue, but she wrote this book so well and added twists. I can't wait to read the next book! I need more interactions with the other guys, especially Alexei and Widow. They're so adorable. I love how this book is a multi-POV too, getting insights on the guys' thoughts, especially Bohnes. I love how psycho he is and how he's obsessed with Scarlett to the point where he'll do anything for her. I highly recommend everyone to read this book, especially those looking for psycho guys in the harem, read about racing, mysteries, steamy scenes and a b@d*ss FMC.
This book started slow for me, but it snuck up on me and slowly poisoned my heart. Tricking me into falling in love with all of these “f*ckboys” and yes, I fell completely in love. Each one of these men have qualities that might be a little unhinged, but deep down, they are true and loyal. And Scarlett knows this. She doesn’t want to admit it to herself, but hey. We have time, it’s only book 1 😜
Scarlett finds herself not only attracted to all these men, bit dropped dead center into the midst of a scandal. It’s nasty, and deadly, and she’s going to have to open up to these men, if she wants to survive.
The steamy scenes are amazing. You can totally get the whole “f*ckboy” vibe from this book, based on these scenes 🥵🥵🥵🥵 Can’t wait for Unholy Terrors!

Review▪︎This was my first read of 2022 and I just want to say congratulations to cm on another fantastic start to a series!! She never ceases to amaze me. I loved this book, but this book won't be for everyone. This is a high school reverse harem, dark, gang, psycho romance. There is murder, fast cars, and some insane Characters. 😳 but God do I love me a really great psychopath hero. ( In Fiction). This book is fast paced, twisty, spicy and got some serious dark parts. I couldn't put it down. To say I'm begging for the next book is putting it lightly. Another master piece I can't wait to add to my cm collection 😍 ❤
okay so this was mixed there were parts that I actually wanted to strangle love interest mainly widow and lemon god scarlet is a better friend then me I would have completely cut lemon off and she would be so unfriended.
I didn't like bones until like the last chapter or second to last in his point of and girl the obsession he has for scarlet 😭😭😭 stooop where's my guy😭😭😭😭😭😭 no but actually I thought i would be fine reading this dark esk romance because I normally don't swoon over these guys but urgh no such luck but it's fine I will prevail and read the next
Going in I kinda knew what to expect. It *is* Prescott High after all. Poor kids Rich kids Nice cars Dramaaaaaaa Troubled teens.
I will say, if you read Havoc, it’s like… same same but different. Ya feel me?
So this series takes place before Bernie and the Havoc crew. Which now I’m struggling to remember if Havoc series mentioned Scarlett or not. I have a feeling she did.
But anyway,
Was it good? Yes. There’s mystery. There’s sexy scenes. There’s relationship building.
Was it… great? Kinda. I’m still trying to decide if I like Scarlett tbh. She’s all badass, yes. But it all seems like a façade.
So I’m hoping this is redeemed as the story goes on. Would love to see her be more vulnerable. I feel like it’s gonna be Bernie all over again.. I’ll hate her til the end then I’ll love her.
Reviewing the men: Widow: absolutely yes Bohnes: really wish that H was not present in the name. Alexie: can’t wait to see where this goes Ash: immediately no.
Let’s see how book 2 goes
Update as I read book 2: the character development of Bohnes and Alexie is *chef’s kiss* (!!) I’m pleased.
Barely made it through this book, will not be continuing this series. I found the writing and plot juvenile and all over the place, the story was trying to be edgy but it just fell flat. The characters were bland and uninteresting, could not find anything redeeming in Scarlett, she was not a strong female protagonist or even likeable as a character. It was also confusing at first to figure out who all the male leads were going to be and the ending made no sense. I am hit or miss on high school dark romances, but this one is a total miss.
I stand by my previous statement that this is like a sexy fast and furious.
What I found refreshing about this story is that all the characters are very different from other books. And because of that I'm ok with the multiple men thing even though its not usually my bag.
I initially was getting abit annoyed with how self assured Scarlett was but after finishing this book I'm really considering changing my name to Rebecca motherfucking Macreavey and having done with it. You go girl.
At 75% was my hitting point really, i was convinced i could actually go through this book but then widow…. this poor boy, hes hopeless 🫶🏼 and it made me cringe so hard i cant continue this book 🥲 dont get me started on bhones…. I dont even want to talk about it.
Also,,, the one thing i like about RH is the bond (especially between the harem) and this one is a little different, with the boys are quite literally not friends with eachother. Understandbly its still book 1 but man… its so hard to read 🫣
Is it bad out of all the boys, aspen seems the most likable and if not had more depth to his character than the rest? atleast tolerable in my opinion. Maybe Aspen and germaphobe can rank together, but not really. 🤥
I shouldn’t underestimate the addictive writing from this author
Because it’s now silly o’clock in the morning and I’m preparing to start book two. Sleep is for the weak anyway. This book had me hooked from page one. I love my leading ladies full of sass and my men slightly psycho, this book has both in droves.
What the actual FUCK did I read. What is this? Oh I know what it is.
It is perfectly wrong. Perfectly fucked up.
Do you want psycho heroes? Check. Do you want crazy badass bitch heroine? Check. Do you want dirty talking? Check. Do you want shameless nasty sex? Check. Do you want dramatic background full of twists? Check. Do you want a girl fucking every dick that she likes? Check. Do you want bullying? Check.
Do you want the bullying to come from the FUCKING GIRL? Check. Check. Check.
Do I need to say more? This book pleased my inner smut slut and I'm not even ashamed to admit that.
One girl. 4 guys. All of them want her but she considers them fuckboys. They're good to give dick and then only to support her. And she doesn't even want their support. Only their submission. And their dick. Let's not forget the dicks.
Scarlett Force is literally a FORCE to be reckoned with. She owns everything. She owns everyone. And whatever she doesn't own she makes sure she keeps them at arm's length. And that changes only when she wants something from them. Usually their life.
Bohnes. He is the main fucker. The possessive freak. He wants Scarlett for himself and thinks that if he puts rules to the men around her that will stop her from fucking around. Laughing my fucking ass off.
Widow. The enigma. I don't know why he is the way that he is. We are introduced to him with "Oh he killed his uncle - stay away from him". The hell? I.NEED.MORE. He is the virgin one. The one who wants to wife Scarlett because she'll understand he is the best or something. Yeah right. Next.
Ash. Or Aspen. Or whatever is his name. He is broken. He is the darkest of them all. And I don't know what to expect from him. All I know is that he is going to bring more disaster. More damage. But he knows how to give head, so we forgive him.
Alexei. He's the "newest". He has some family issues and asks for Scarlett's help in order to take revenge. I don't know if she should interfere..but in the end they're already all involved in this mess.
So what do you say? Doesn't it sound interesting? Mmhmm..yeah. I thought so.
O.M.G….I so love Scarlett motherf*cking Force!! While reading the Havoc Boys series and read the mention of the legend of Scarlett Force I knew I had to read it. I am so glad I am. I am also very grateful that I read it so very close to the release of book 2, Unholy Terrors. I plan on starting I Was Born Ruined, book 1 of the Death By Daybreak MC series, while I wait for Unholy Terrors. C.M. Stunich mentioned that the Death By Daybreak MC series was very similar to the Havoc Boys series and I imagine the Scarlett Force series. I absolutely loved the except of F*ckboy Psychos and Unholy Terrors so much that I had started the Scarlett Force series before reading Death By Daybreak MC series even though Caitlyn, C.M., suggested the Death By Daybreak MC is similar to Havoc Boys and could be read next if you enjoyed the Havoc Boys. I loved the H.A.V.O.C boys and Bernie but I just had to find out all about Scarlett Force who is the legend of Prescott High! Ok, I don’t want to spoil any of the books from Havoc Boys series or Scarlett Force as they are must reads in my book. I now have Caitlyn as one of my favorite authors now. I enjoyed reading the Burberry Prep Academy but could not resist reading Havoc Boys series before reading Adamson Academy series. See you can’t just read one of her books as they are sooo sooo good to read. Love getting lost in Caitlyn ‘s books. I highly recommend F*ckboy Pyschos, Scarlett Force series, Havoc Boys series, Burberry Prep, and C.M. Stunich as an author!! Readers will not regret reading any of the above mentioned books. Happy reading!!
You know what's crazy? Having an author who does annoying as fuck shit, like repeating that a character hates the color red but wears it, that some dude is psychotic, that they are only looking for a fuckboy, that the town's kids are savage, that the security guard is a perv, that the principal is an ass, that, that, that, that it keeps going on and on, like we fucking get it! Also, why is the character talking to me? That feels skeevy as fuck, I hope she doesn't continue that. It feels weird, kinda condescending and kinda like a skid mark on the outside of your pants, like what the fuck is going on, who rubbed their nasty fucking ass on me?! Just stop it! Then there's the most fave word she must absolutely have, "ebon", fuck, I thought I was done with it in the Havoc series, but no, we have a fuckboy here with ebon eyes too.
Why did I read this book if I have a dislike with 33% of what her books entail? Cuz A) I'm a goddamn masochist and B) as annoying as some of the stuff she writes in her books, are, the stories are always entertaining. Well except her private school books, those are total fucking ass.
This was pretty predictable as it went along, but, like I said, still entertaining. I'm going to continue reading cuz I want to see how this RH plays out when everybody hates eachother and wants her for themselves. I'm rooting for Bohnes, fucker is weird and crazy.
Oofff. This is rough. Half way done and thinking about DNF. She is by far the worst heroine I've read...you wanted dark and messed up with badass characters read Hooked by Emily McIntire.
The character development is atrocious. How are their so many good reviews???
I can tell you, most people seeing a girl walk into a store half dressed aren't going to think she is stealing their husband or spit at her.....
Also, is she in heat? Why are all these guys. I haven't had sex in years, BUT I must have her..
Lastly, she is no queen....period. She's not even a proper mob bosses lackey... ugh.
I was stoked for this, but I guess after reading an amazing book about a real psychopath this is a let down lol.
This crazy world of Scarlett and her band of hot guys has me straight up addicted. Her as a character is just epic. She's strong, fearless and proud and so totally my girl crush I can't even.
This journey I have a feeling is just the beginning. Its turbulent, brutal and raw in its delivery but its so addictive I couldn't put it down. Now I'm here at 2:30 am and I need to know what happens next.
It's a crazy world of secrets, lies and sins. So very wrong its right and beyond addictive.
I am loving every character so far and I'm excited to see the development of them through the series and just how our wild girl manages to tame so many dark souls in her path of destruction.
I cringed reading this book, especially when Scar would refer to the boys as her fuckboys. The number of times Scar said Prescott was filled with sex and violence was also annoying. We get it.
Scar was a thirsty ass bitch. I died a little inside every time Nisha would refer to her as 'my queen.' Get a grip. Scar was just a wannabe gangbanger in high school.
The writing style was not for me. It was dreadful.
Scarlett Force is a hurricane. She'll suck you in, tear you apart and throw you out again. She is the Queen of the school and everyone who's anyone will tell you the same thing. She races cars, and she always wins. She rules with an iron fist. And the men who love her are tougher than nails. They'll slit your throat and keep on walking without a glance back. Alexei, Bohnes and Widow, each as lethal as the next, and they don't get along, but have the same person in their sights - Scarlett Motherfucking Force. When a friend turns her back on the crew and winds up involved with the slimiest piece of shit you ever did see, Scarlett sees red, and she hates red. She's determined to find out what is going on, and she will, but it won't be what she thought. Buckle up princess and hold on tight, because this is going to be one wild ride.
I love Stunich. My first read by her was the Adamson All-boys Academy trilogy and I loved it so much I've recommended it to many a person and its up there as one of my favourites. I haven't read the Prescott High series, but when I saw the synopsis for this one I figured I'd catch up with that one later and just dive straight in. I wasn't disappointed, but it just didn't hit as high as I was hoping.
This is a mature highschool/New adult romance with enemies to lovers and strong love-hate themes. It's very dark and gritty, and it has a lot of sex scenes in it, all of which are consensual. Initially I found it hard to get into because of the highschool theme (weird I know because adamson all boys is also highschool themed), it wasn't just the highschool almost new adult age that had me struggling though. It was the way the characters are acting as adults but still attending high school that I struggled with a bit, and I'm not sure why. From my understanding this book is set before the events in the Prescott High series, and Scarlett is mentioned in said series in passing, and this gives us a look at her and her life. This school is one of the rough ones, they have guards and they have metal detectors, there's drugs, violence, murder, theft and illegal racing. I just found it a bit hard to get in the groove with high school kids doing majority of these things without anyone batting an eyelid. It is written as this being the rough side of town, so parents are pretty absent, but it was just a little hard to swallow. Books do not ever have to adhere to any rules, but I like my stories to have some sense of believability to them, and some things just came across a little far fetched for me in this one.
I love a dark story line and I love psychotic characters, it's honestly what drew me to preorder this book as soon as I saw it pop up. Scarlett has a little bit of the crazy in her which is great, but I feel like she was trying too hard at playing mob boss what with her crew and everything they do. More often than not it came across as corny rather than badass. I was super keen to meet Widow and Bohnes, however, Widow I didn't enjoy at all. We barely get to know him, other than where he's come from and a tiny bit about his personality, he just came across a bit flat and wasn't exciting for me in the least. Bohnes however, was perfect and he's definitely my favourite character. He had the psychotic obsessed lover down, and I was here for it. He's a ghost and was written as such which worked brilliantly. I'm keen to learn more about him as the series progresses. Alexei intrigues me and I actually like him, we got a lot more info about him and his dilemmas which I'm here for, and endeared him to me. The whole thing with Aspen, I had kind of picked, but not 100% I am intrigued to see where that story line goes as it's different and a nice addition, if not a little day time TV-esque. It has promise. The characters were written well enough and they all had distinct voices, some of them just fell a little flat for me is all and weren't like the rich characters that I've met in the other Stunich books I've read.
There is a story line here, but it's pretty convoluted and I don't want to go into it too much because I don't want to give anything away. There's some shady stuff going on with a realtor company buying up properties in the bad part of town, illegal car racing with cars that I don't get how teenagers can afford, a friend of Scarlett's taking off with a shady rich boy thinking it's her ticket out, and a murder to solve. There's lots of sex and I mean lots, which is fine because you tend to expect that in a reverse harem novel (or at least, I do). One thing that kept getting on my nerves though, was how sex driven Scarlett was. I like a good sex scene as much as any other red blooded woman, but it felt like Scarlett was a cat in heat presenting to any male who would look her way. It threw me out of the story a little and I'm not sure if it was meant to add to the badass, bad part of town image Stunich was going for, but for me it just didn't quite work that way.
All in all, this wasn't a terrible book but I feel that it's not Stunich's best. It came across more corny and try hard than I hoped it would, but I'm still going to continue with the series because I am invested in a couple of the characters and seeing what happens from here. It does end in a cliff hanger so be perpared for that. If you liked the Havoc series, give it a go because you'll probably get giddy at having a character story for someone mentioned in that series. I know that I'm kind of wishing I'd read Havoc first now.
This book right off the bat screams a HAVOC and Bernie spin off and I was a little nervous it would be very much the same. This book however is different in many ways from us have a girl gang to there being doubles I didn’t even realize until later. Scarlett sets this book off and I love her fine as heck men she has. My fave is Bohnes and it’s because he loves her insanely… quite literally. He is a romantic and he wants her to fall so far out of her comfort zone into him. Widow is my dark and sensitive boy but I can’t wait to see where this goes next. Also he’s sensitive yet completely inexperienced which I find charming. Just needs some good books to read… maybe RH. Alexei is a “equal opportunity germaphobe” but he intrigues our girl like no other with his threats of poisoning and breaking of bones. I really hope our girl Scar will help him out I am intrigued by these psychopaths. Ash turned Aspen is hot as heck but the lies throw me off because he has the power to end them with a slight pull of a trigger. I can’t wait for these psychos to for this RH. BTW Lemon is something else because I hate social climbing fakes along with the real sick and twisted Aspen. Side note I love how Bornstead University pops up on here because our girl Stunich is giving us teasers of her new books to come.

I’ve enjoyed all the books I’ve read from this author so far, and liked this too, but it had some really slow bits that nearly lost me. There is a lot of internal dialogue which is boring AF and really takes away from the action of the story and brings the momentum to an annoying snails pace. If the charter honestly stopped focusing to have those deep in meaningful conversations with herself in real life, she would have died in the first five chapters. You can’t race cars and not be focused like that or you’re just going to crash and burn. So, not only did it slow the pace of the story, it made it really unrealistic. Eventually, I started skimming all that internal waffling and just focused on the external dialogue and action and it got really good at that point. The sex is steamy. You’re going to get thirsty reading those scenes, so be ready for that The plot is good. Different. Not exactly surprising, but that’s never unusual for me anyway. It might shock the hell out of you. The suspense and thriller style writing is really great though, and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see women in power who understands that using sex to seduce men hasn’t gotten women anywhere thus far, and that sometimes you have to be a monster to protect yourself from the monsters.
I’ve read my fair share of stories involving “psychos” but going in, you never know what level they’re on and if you’ve read a lot, you know there are definitely multiple levels. They’re pretty low level psycho right now in my opinion but I think their obsessive/possessive streaks with Scarlett will grow continuing forward and I know there’s a lot more violence coming. We’re just getting started. I liked Scarlett right off the bat. I love that she’s this queen who doesn’t take any crap and you see how important her friends and crew are to her. I love the race track aspect of the story. Just adds excitement to the story especially the bets and winnings they take away from each race. The guys…I like them so far but the relations between her and each guy in the story are shallow for now but I know it’s a journey we’ll be going on along with Scarlett as she gets closer to them and allows herself to let them in to become more than just f*ckboys. This is only the beginning and I’m dying to get into their heads even more. They may not get along now but Scarlett is the common denominator and I know they’ll all end up coming together if only to get just a piece of her. I can’t wait to read the next book!
