After the sheer goodness of book two, I was pretty disappointed with everything that happened here. It was almost like the author was like… I wanna wrap this up neatly but I also wanna have a whole bunch of strings hang loose so that I can revisit this world again. So, every single one of Talon’s descendants has twins? No deviations? Always a boy and girl. Are we to also believe that Lea is roughly 18 or 19 and popping out her own brood? Sylvia and Kyria were quick to condemn the “abomination” yet isn’t that what Sylvia was? Where was the call for empathy? So Sylvia was cool hooking up with Marcello even though she and Evander finally declared their love for one another? That epilogue just wasn’t making sense.
Wow, this book blew me away. It is a fantastic read that once I started I was glued to and could not put down no matter what was going on around me. The pace at which it moves is perfect for the story, speeding up and slowing down when necessary which made the flow seamless. The characters are so real that you feel as though you know them and you cannot help but love them. The story grabs you keeping you interested and reading till the last page. This book needs to be on your list of books to read, there is no doubt about it.
Oh wow! Tara manages to capture every emotion going! Love, lust, friendship, betrayal, greed, to name just a few! The storyline flows so well from book to book, growing in drama as the series unfolds. What I most love, is that Tara brings each series full circle, and leaves no " what if's". The buildup to the end is steady, with lots of action. I love a truly completed series where all my questions are answered. I do think though, that Sylvia is my favourite! Not taking anything away from Kyara, but I love Sylvia's stoic stance, her ability to keep all her emotions bottled up, until they finally explode! Kyara is an awesome character, thrust into a world she has no idea how to navigate but the plot is such, that it's a delight to see how she grows into her role. Together with her hunky Defenders, she can take on the world, and she does, magnificently! I must confess I do enjoy a happily ever after, and by the end of the book, I felt like my heart would burst with joy! Lovely, lovely series!
I sat to read a couple of pages of this book when I woke up at 6 and I couldn't let go, some how I managed to do all of my chores while keeping glued to the book. What a way to end a series, this book was jet packed with action since chapter 1, it had some major developments that I really really wasn't expecting and, as always, the love that this group shares is always strong. My heart ached with Alexi and the things he learned about his time with the Fae, I even felt sorry about Demendia. I loved how the characters evolved and grew and loved meeting new characters like Quin's Nanna. This is a series you all need to read...
What a great conclusion to this series! I couldn't put this book down once I started. There was so much action and drama. I am sad to see this series end! The Fae Queen's Saviors was by far my favorite in the series. During their journey, we were able to see a lot of growth in our main characters. I am so glad that we saw more of Sylvia in this book! She is one of my favorite characters in the series.
