Not a bad novella, but didn't grab me like much of KW's full-length novels do. Characters didn't pull me in. Christine and Maceo sizzle, and I absolutely LOVED the illustrations, but overall, the book lacked substance for me.

Love, love, loved...this book. In fact, I read three of them one right after the other and I'm dying to read the others.
Maceo was hot with its illustrations and well Maceo. Damn...damn...damn. It was interesting to see that the heroine owned the club versus it being male owned. I liked that take. Empowerment for the heroine and one way to add some tension. Maceo was the plumber that Christine needed to fix the issue at her club but didn't realize she MORE than needed him between the sheets! Great read!

Amazing
Maceo was a great and straight fire of a book. Chrissy was a tough cookie and I loved the fireworks between them .once I started I couldn't put it down I was hooked. I love it and 8 wasn't disappointed at all.

Maceo gave me red flags warnings the entire book. I felt no connection to either character and there didn't seem to be much of story. I will most likely not read the other books in the series.

OMG! KW! Just when I thought there would never, ever be a book bae that I could love as much as The Lion, here enters Maceo! This cocky man is a whole vibe! I loved him the minute the telephone banter began, with him and Christine. The jokes about pipes and leaking had me laughing out loud!
When Maceo meets Christine, their chemistry was crackling from across the room! 🔥 He knew right away, that it was game on to win her heart. There was just something about her that drew him to her. Now, Christine was not interested in Maceo At. All! At least that's what her mouth said. She wanted so much to not like this man, but he quickly broke down the walls that she built for herself. Success was all that was important right? Their back and forth dialogue, while he was chasing and her running was just hysterical! Then, the pictures were on point as always! Such a treat that I look forward to with your reads. Love this couple! Great work! 👍👍👍

Christine stubbornly tried to hold onto her independent single status, but could not help being drawn into Maceo's net. He upgraded and organized every part of her life even when she only offered her crumbs he showed up. Her heart gave her no choice, except to meet him where he was so she could grow. Love took root and only had room to bloom.

Pure SIN!
This story is just as good the second time around, but who am I kidding? I have read it at least 4 times. Maceo is super-bae! He got Christine ALL-THE-WAY right, but good peen will do that. Funny thing is, he did it by withholding it... My only question is, did Maceo serve Christine all night because she actually couldn't stand after??? It's a quick-read but I love it!

New book boyfriend
This story was short and steamy, OMG was Maceo hot! His confidence and swag threw Christine for a loop. He gave her what she didn't know she needed...in more ways than one. I love that she is an independent woman, strong and driven. It just took the right guy, the stand out guy to turn her head. The banter was great, their chemistry was amazing. Another great read from Ms Wright.

This book was just long enough to my appetite and make me down my man. Loved this story about Maceo getting his woman. Maceo makes it clear that the term Alpha man does not mean disrespectful. I enjoyed watching him woo, pursue and then make his woman his. If you are looking for a hot read, full of half naked men , a strong female, and a man who worships women, look no further. I STRONGLY recommend this read with mango margarita on the rocks!

Awesome book!
I really enjoyed this book the story line was believable and entertaining. The characters were funny and entertaining. Loved the chemistry between Maceo and Christine was smoking hot 🔥! They had a great relationship and it made them work even if Christine wanted to fight him . Her brothers were a hoot and they have a story to tell with Denise. This book I highly recommend and you will not be disappointed.

A great read. Christine has no time for men, unless it is to satisfy her needs-she owns a male strip club and has enough available men. Maceo comes into Christine's club to fix a plumbing issue and it's instant attraction but Christine is sticking to her no relationship rule. Maceo has his work cut out for him. Will Maceo convince Christine that he can really clean her pipes or will he leave her to her leaks?

For me, Maceo's personality stank 😭 It is very reasonable for a woman trying to do business to not accept your romantic advances immediately. It is very reasonable for someone who hasn't known you long to reject the idea of being "yours." Everything about him annoyed me, and the fact she didn't even seem to love him back was even worse. She felt passive as if she was accepting his terms and conditions just because.

I always find enjoyment in KW books !! This one was no exception, it had everything in here that I'm hooked on. I love a man that knows what he wants and goes after it and I'm happy that she wasn't to independent and prideful to miss her blessing. On to another one!!!!!!!!

Hot!!!
As with all Kenya Wright books I, I think I love the photos in these boxes almost as much as reading them ! It’s something about having your mind conjure up images it to as have Visual stimulation make it that much more erotic.As I always do I enjoyed this book tremendously and I look forward to what comes next

This story was okay. It just was not my "cup of tea" due to the constant talk about sex and pics showing it. I am a bit old fashion and prefer more to the story of the couple (Maceo and Christine) regarding their lives, etc. This is not my first book by Ms. Wright and it just was not one of my faves.

I enjoyed this read. Christine was career driven and only played under her own stipulations, meaning fk and duck. That is until Maceo came to fix her plumbing. I like how he went after what he wanted even though Chrissy wasn't trying to go there with him. I'm glad she finally realized he was just the man she needed.❤❤

Ms. Kenya always delivers. This book was short sweet and entertaining. I laughed all the way to the end. The chemistry between Maceo and Christine was🔥🔥🔥the story line was simple, no social or relationship issues in this one . Just a light refreshing read. Loved it 🖤

Maceo’s was master at cleaning,fixing all kind of pipes, so Christine hitting the jackpot when she placed that call for an emergency pipe fixing because of flooding at Sin …
Anyway, Maceo wanted to clean both Christine’s business and personal pipe … Christine is resisting but is a very persistent man & Mr Latino is Hot as sin, no pun intended!😁

It was an ok read. Maceo and Christine’s relationship journey did not seem all that believable. It seemed Christine “folded” too quick.

I enjoyed the twist interns and I love strong black women when I read books like this the description even the pictures were fantastic I would recommend this book to anyone it’s a good read. Looking forward to reading all the books in the series as well.
