Sorry to say that I didn't vibe with the writing and couldn't continue on. I may in the future because I thought the premise was really cool and enjoyed the characters and plot so far. There was just something about the writing that made it feel like a slog to get though, and I needed to put it down.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BITTEN BY DARKNESS". I couldn't put thus book down my first by this author Nicole Wolfe she did a fantastic job writing this Dark intense romance with a few surprise along the way such an enjoyable read.
Nessie Robinson is a slave to vampires who feed off her without choice, without thought, they just take the only man she ever trusted left her 10yrs. ago Charlie Matthews.
Charlie returns to his Maker's Mansion with one goal in mind revenge not a mate but one bite from the girl he was friends with years ago Nessie triggers an irreversible bond so not in his plans will he still go for his revenge or be with the mate he never knew he needed.
I definitely recommend to get this interesting, entertaining, engaging, dark paranormal romance it won't disappoint you'll he turning the pages until finished with great well developed characters you'll love Matthews & Nessie's journey I can't wait for next book in this series.

An emotional love story between two sympathetic characters in a believable fantasy world. The detail and pacing is good and the tension builds. Steamy and explicit scenes are well handled. I'd definitely read the next one.

I loved this book. It was my first book by Nichole Wolfe and I am now a huge fan. This book was filled with twists and adventures. It was a roller coaster of emotions. The characters were fantastic. Nessie and Charlie were perfect for eachother and their chemistry was off the charts. I highly suggest reading if you like vampires, romance and twists.

The Master is arrogant and cruel~ Her world is cruel and dangerous~ Charlie has come back to the fold after a decade. When he sees Nessie again, he realizes she is his mate. He also has to save her from a death sentence. During their time away, he discovers she is not a normal human. He will have to make her more at one point! They will have enemies surrounding them while they fight to stay alive. Everyone will need to watch out for when she becomes more! There will be no stopping her when she protects what is hers! Great new start to a series!

This is a well written vampire romance with strong characters in Nessie and Charlie. The author does a great job building the story with all the drama and suspense and kept me glued to the pages with all the twists and turns along the way. Their chemistry sizzles and tensions build. The story moves fluidly with her detailed and descriptive writing and is a terrific read.

A fabulous read with so much action, suspense and steam. A gripping vampire romance with fantastic characters in Charlie and Nessie. The story was very well written and fast paced. I could not put this down.
