Ross learns on the hard way that finding out what's going on inside that military factory won't be an easy task. When Denton and Tobias return to Hailstone, they are met by the news that Mary, the most recent missing townsperson has returned. When they go to her, she claims she saw a demonic, decay smelling beast who brought her no harm and when it left, she returned home. Denton and Tobias are again confused by what is going on and it leads to Tobias breaking into the army factory to try and figure out what they are hiding. What he finds...well we don't actually find out, this is a builder issue. This issue almost feels like a filler to get us from point A to point B in as quick a time as possible, which I'm okay with as this is only a 5 issue series. There isn't much more to say other than I'm still enjoying reading this series.
Yes, sheriff... Some beast... Knocked me over in the woods. It hit me in the head. I remember waking up in a dark place. But it wasn't cold there... It was actually warm. Then i saw a light coming from outside and i realized i was in a cave. With the light came a stench-so strong, like... Rotten flesh.
Hailstone promises to be a mix of historical fiction, horror, and suspense, as winter sets into Hailstone and townsfolk keep disappearing in the woods.
Having narrowly escaped from the munitions factors the sheriff wakes to find that Mary has reappeared and her story reinforces the Sheriff's mind, in that something amiss is going on at the factory! Left with no choice he must venture there again to try and discover what!
A very intriguing start. Onto the next issue! 4 stars.
Less foul language than the first two. Very short. Glad I could read for "free" with Amazon prime because, while the art is good and the story decent [though the language is not always] these comics are just too short for the amount they want you to pay.
História espetacular e intrigante. O enredo conseguiu entregar mais do que eu imaginava. O protagonista é cativante a ponto de você querer saber mais sobre ele mesmo depois do término!
