Greg Rucka, is an American comic book writer and novelist, known for his work on such comics as Action Comics, Batwoman: Detective Comics, and the miniseries Superman: World of New Krypton for DC Comics, and for novels such as his Queen & Country series.
I've not looked up how many issues this is set to run for but, after some occasionally weird pacing, things are hotting up again. There's tension and emotion. It's not quite as terrific as it was a few years back but it's still a great read.
It wouldn't surprise me if this doesn't go on too much longer. There's a huge dystopia that could be explored in the world of Lazarus and I've often felt it hasn't been touched on anywhere near as much as it could. I gently suspect Mr Rucka has had enough of writing it or has other things on his mind. Time will tell.
4.75 Stars. Fantastic. Great writing, great characters, great artwork and a+I just wish they really were quarterly installments. This series is so good, maybe my favorite Creator Owned series of all time. If Rucka and Lark would consistently put an issue out every 3 months it would be even better, but I guess I'll take what we get.
