When my son, Finn, freaks out after seeing a stranger peering in through his window, I have a feeling something wicked this way comes. Unfortunately, it’s not long before reports of the same peeping tom come pouring in from all around Haven Hollow, but no one knows who this guy is or what he wants.
And, when my good friend Henner reports a disturbance in his home, the Tayir Mansion, that culminates with the disappearance of his housekeeper and a room full of bloody handprints, I have a feeling things are about to take a downward spiral very quickly.
To make matters worse, my personal life seems to be equally out of control—there’s my ex-boyfriend, Roy, who keeps trying to salvage our relationship, and then there’s also my best friend, Marty, who’s giving me puppy dog eyes of his own.
As if peeping toms, missing housekeepers, amorous ex-boyfriends, and equally amorous best friends aren’t stressful enough, there’s also a void we discover in the laundry room of Henner’s house. And that void has recently been breached, which means either someone entered or someone escaped…

A parting of the veil leads to the resolution of a decades old mystery.
This is the 11th book in the Haven Hollow series. It is a collaboration between HP Mallory and JR Rain. The book falls in the Paranormal Women’s Fiction genre. In this book there is no romance and no scenes of a sexual nature.
This series improves with each book. The world building and character development are excellent. With each book we see the introduction of new characters and the further development of familiar ones. The stories are well paced and entertaining.
Wanda and Poppy have gone from rivals to best friends. Poppy’s friendship with Marty seems to be heading towards being more than just friends, if either of them can pluck up the courage to move things forward. As for Wanda and Lorcan, his intentions have always been clear and it looks as though her opinion of him might be starting to soften. About time really.
This book sees the very satisfying end of one long running story arc and the exciting beginning of the next. Wanda’s character has grown markedly since her introduction and she has reluctantly taken on more responsibilities and made herself care about the people around her. I’m hoping she will finally pluck up the courage to start her own coven and rid herself of her mother’s interference once and for all.
If you haven’t read any of this series so far, I’d recommend them. They are easy to read, entertaining and feature a host of interesting characters who I find myself quite invested in.

Poppy and the gang are back and funnier then ever.. After a potion goes awry and Astrid blows out the windows of Poppy's house things just get weird . Finn sees a peeping Tom in his bedroom window and then the other sighting . Poppy, Wanda and the guys are off to find the mysterious man and also to help Henner out . Things just spiral out of control from the moment they walk into the mansion . It doesn't help that Roy is trying to salvage his relationship with Poppy and Marty is having feeling for Poppy . What could go wrong well lets just say everything and naything can go wrong . Here is hoping that they can find their way out and save the day yet again and not end up dead in the process.

Something is loose in Haven Hollow. The stranger is going house-to-house peering into bedrooms all through town. No one knows what he wants since no one can seem to catch him. In the meantime, Henner reports strange goings-on in the Tayir Mansion. His housekeeper suddenly disappeared and there's so much blood in one of the rooms, one can only suspect foul play. Plus, the group discovers a recently breached void in the mansion's laundry room. Now to figure out who or what breached the void. To make matters a bit more uncomfortable, Roy is still pining for Poppy and Marty seems to be taking his adoration up-a-notch since Poppy and Roy broke up.
Poppy is a wonderful character. The town of Haven Hollow is mysterious and full of interesting characters. Haven Hollow is also in danger. The characters just can't figure out from whom or what. Figuring it out takes an act of bravery on Poppy and Wanda's account.

Poppy is getting ready when Finn screams, he sees someone at his window. Turns out someone was on her property. Wanda has the same story. Poppy and Wanda go to the dinner Henner set up. Seems there is more to his story. Henner tells them about his missing housekeeper. Wanda and Poppy promise to go by the next day.
Poppy and Wanda meet up at Henner's house, they don't find anything at first but one of the rooms has a magical signature. They discover the veil, and it has an opening. Poppy and Wanda make a startling discovery. What has gotten out is much more dangerous than they thought. Everyone's life is in danger unless they are able to talk care of the situation.

LOVE ❤️ love this series. It’s entertaining and captivating. The world is too serious so escaping into an enjoyable book is just what I need. From the first page this book was intense and so good! I think this is my favorite book of Poppy's so far! I love all the characters and how this book answered some questions that we have been wondering about and then left us wondering just what is to come! Love this series and how the main characters get their own books.

The crew is at it again. They cannot go to many days without something happening. Poppy has her hands full with this book. There is something out to get them and it has zeroed in on Poppy. She is a major part of this group. We are starting to see her strength in so many different ways. She has to fight to survive at every turn in this book. This book is full of twist and turns. I couldn't believe where this book went and how it ended. It was jaw dropping. Each book is better and better. We get just a little more of each of their story.

This is a facinateing storyline. Will Poppy and Marty ever get around to admitting that they have feelings for each other? And how will Roy take that news? All the answers are in this outstanding book. Highly recommended.

Poppy is a great friend to so many and joins with her group to catch the creature peeping into folks windows. The plot thickens and new characters that we have only heard about before are welcomes. Well, one of them is welcomed. Poppy puts herself at great risk and discovers more about herself. I always love an opportunity to read about Poppy and Wanda!

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was fun and fast-paced and I didn't want to put it down. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #11 in the Haven Hollow series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as others by these authors.

Gypsy magic isn’t witch magic but it can still pack a punch
This is book 11 in the Haven Hallow series. It is a serious fight or flight thriller and well worth the reading time! Poppy is the main character in this story of how to deal with a rogue vampire.

What another great addition to Haven Hollow. It was fast paced and fun and I couldn't put it down. This is mostly about Poppy and Wanda with the usual town characters helping out. It was nice to see some closure to one of the story lines that has run throughout the series.

Good story. Well written & fast paced. I enjoyed the action in this book & seeing the strength in our beloved characters. Love having more interaction with Marty & Poppy, but loved the little twist even more! Great series!

Another magical mystery to be solved. Poppy and friends are asked to help Henner find out what happened to his missing housekeeper. Nonstop page turner. Standalone but the series is awesome. Great characters and chemistry. No cliffhanger and happy for now.

This was a much better entry than the last one. This one had action, excitement, and bit of romance. Highly recommend this one. If you have not read the others, you should be good to go, but do recommend at least reading the Poppy’s Potion ones.

Great!!!!
Great fun read where we get to see more of Jenner's grandmothers house, plus, we solve a mystery or two!!! Roy and Marty almost fight over Poppy! There is tons of action, witches and vampires fighting, and so much more!!!!

This Haven Hollow book was quite an adventure. It was very exciting. I had a hard time putting it down. The characters are interesting and well developed.

Loved it!
I always enjoy visiting Haven Hollow. Although this time there was a lot of terrifying violence that makes you grit your teeth and hold on for dear life.
