Annnnnnnnnd I'm tappin' out people.
Because...crappy.
And pissed. VERRA PISSED.
I have really enjoyed this series thus far - formulaic though it may be. And while I have been less than impressed with some of Rose's recent forays - looking at you Obligation - I still had high hopes for this one.
But alas, it just wasn't in the cards.
So without further ado, in celebration on the new season of Game of Thrones, please join me and some GOT-ers in "reviewing" this thing.

So how did I not like thee...?
Let me count the ways.
1) July.
What a fucking dingbat.
While driving recklessly down the road on her motorcycle, right next to a large group of men closely resembling a motorcycle gang - after actually yelling the word "Wahooo" *snobby eyeroll* - does she drive like a normal adult, exercise maturity and - oh, I don't know - reason?
No.
Of course not.
Instead she begins to "speed up and pass them one by one, thankful for the security of [her] helmet..." while simultaneously spending more time staring at one of the OMG so hot bikers instead of the road.
And then?
...because why not save the little bird whilst potentially taking out an entire motorcycle gang with one fell swoop of the handlebars.
And what happens when the possible motorcycle gang chases her down and forces her to pull over - because, oh I don't know, maybe because she almost killed them - what does she do?
She tases their OMG so hot biker leader.
Because she's just OMG too cute and crazy for words?
No.
Because STUPID.
But don't worry...
...those assholes get her back by running over the stupid bird on their way out.

Fear not, people, she tucks that most assuredly diseased little squawker right up against herself - yes, that's right, right right up against herself - zipped up in her jacket, where she then takes that poor little bird-flu carrier right home.
I get it.
We are supposed to think she's just such a badass with such a warm heart.
But honestly?
2) The "writing." <---Quotes added to make sure ya'll know I use this term loosely.
Very loosely.
I will let some examples set up my point here (read them in full for full effect):
"I have on a kimono jacket, and I've paired it with a red tank and dark denim capris. I walk to my closet and pull out my beige wedges that wrap around my ankle and have a peep toe. I slip them on, tie them up and around my ankle, and then walk to the bathroom. I apply some bronzer, a little blush, and a whole lotta mascara."
"I fill the bowl half-full and go to the fridge to get milk and pour some on top of the cereal. I grab a spoon from my cute holder on my counter and take the bowl with me...I think, and then realize I forgot napkins and I will definitely need them. I set down my plate, get up, and go to the kitchen..."
"I have to take a massive dump. I set down my kindle, get up, and walk into the bathroom. I open the toilet seat with its cute cover. I pull down my denim capris and polka dot thong and plop my ass down. I bear down and hope for the best. When I'm done, I wipe my ass three times--
Hahahahahahahha, just kidding peeps, I totally made that last one up.
But that could have legit been in this book and it wouldn't have surprised me.
So there was that.
But the eulogy at this funeral?
3) The Dog Fighting Story Line Potential
Twice at 15% there is made mention of injured, seemingly tortured dogs that were forced to fight being dropped off injured in front of July's veterinary office.
Based on that and a few other mentions related to this topic, i.e., the mention of surveillance cameras and the possible enlistment of other Maysons to investigate, I can see the writing on the wall that this might be a large part of the story line; and, quite frankly, this alone is enough to make me DNF.
If you know me at all or have read any of my other reviews, you know that I can be pretty cynical and seemingly quite heartless.
For serious though, I can read about awful things happening to people and not blink an eye.
I know, I know, there's something wrong with me, blah blah blah...
But I can't read about animals - especially my beloved fur babies - being tortured or neglected in any manner.
So if July can potentially kill people to save a possibly diseased little bird, I can say fuck this book to save myself the horror of reading about dogs being mistreated and forced to fight.

4 stars!
I love the Mayson boys and I love ARR’s writing. I think her stories are so fun and sexy! When I found out that we were getting some of the Mayson’s kids stories, I was so stoked! Not only do I get to read about these kids I love all grown up, but we get to see these Mayson men as fathers.
July Mayson is the daughter of Asher and November. She’s a 26 year old veterinarian with a big heart. She is yet to feel that ‘boom’ her mother and father felt. Yet to find that one big love. When she runs into some biker guys while riding, the last thing she expects is to fall for one of them. But one of them in the bunch is special. She feels that pull.
Wes Silver is a military vet who is now a biker who works at an auto/bike shop. He’s a good guy, a little rough around the edges but good. He’s not been looking for love. Settling down is the last thing thats on his mind. But when he meets July, everything changes for him. He feels that boom and he feels it big. He knows he’s got to have her.
July doesn’t always make things easy for poor Wes. She is a bit stubborn, but they figure it out. The more time this couple spends together, the harder they start to fall for one another.
Until July isn’t just July and Wes’s love story. There is that conflict there, some drama and a bit of angst too. I really liked the way it was resolved though. And I LOVED . I loved both July and Wes.
Overall this was a great addition to ARR Until series. You can read this book without reading the others, but if you haven’t read the original Mayson clan I highly recommend you do. You’re really missing out. I love the way this author does her instalove stories and happy ever afters! Looking forward to the next book in this series (Jax I hope x)

I just found a new obsession!! Author Aurora Rose Reynolds!!! She is so talented that after I read Obligation I wanted to read more books of her!From the moment I read the excerpt I knew this was going to be an enjoyable read!! I loved so much the main characters but also the secondary characters made me love this book!In this book you will find insta-love but don't worry because the heroine is so tough and sassy that you will fall in love with her!!!!
July is running her own vet business so she doesn't have time for dating! That is until one day while she is riding her bike and she meets a MC, Wes Silver.He is the type of guy who gets what he wants and he is attracted to July but she isn't like all the other girls!They start dating and things become interesting between them!!
I really liked the story!It's a refreshing,funny and sexy wild ride!!I loved Wes!He is so hot alpha male!He is protective,hot and sweet!!July is one of my favorite heroines!This girl...wow!!She won me over immediately!She is hilarious and so sassy!!The sex scenes were scorching and Wes with July were adorable and funny together!! I would also like to see Kayan and Z's story because the little I saw of them in this book made me think they were hilarious and I wanted more!!!
I highly recommend it to anyone who has read the Until series! But don't worry if you haven't read them because I didn't but I'm going to check them soon because I have seen so many good reviews for the books!!

4 Alpha Stars!
Neither July or Wes were expecting to fall in love, but one day on the road over a bike incident, a Taser and a broken winged bird they met and they can’t stop see each other after that.
July is a vet with an overprotective father, uncle and cousins. Well… an overprotective family who will make sure that the man she chooses is right for her. Wes is a badass biker who isn’t used to justify anything to anybody.
When trouble starts around them and Wes step up to protect her, can they settle their differences and be happy together?
I know I’ve probably said thousands of times before but I really like Aurora’s formula: hot badass hero, over the top drama, lots of hot scenes and action. I know they don’t work for anyone but I love them. After ‘Obligation’ and ‘Justified” I was a little worried because I had some trouble with those two, but I believe she is now back on the horse (so to speak.).
The writing was good and engaging but in my opinion there was a too much descriptive scenes, there was a lot of time lost describing actions like dressing, eating and a lot of clothes descriptions (in one scene she describes her and ALL her sisters dresses).
Overall, if you like alpha males, steamy romances and a fast paced sexy reading, this book is a great choice.
Rating: 4 Stars.
Characters Development: I liked July, and I understand she was supposed to be a fierce less girl who loved to ride with a soft spot for animals. But at some times, with some of Wes “outbursts” she seemed a doormat. Wes was a sexy alpha, but sometimes he was such a rude asshole that I couldn’t just love him as I love some of Aurora’s heroes before him. It was nice to see more of the kids already grown up, I can’t wait to read Jax stories. And June’s! Especially June’s.

5 I Need Me A Wes STARS
Wes and July .. ♥
Aurora Rose Reynolds .. Aurora Rose Reynolds .. you have officially upped the standards for a man! I swear my future hub has you to blame for my high standards because these men you write about may not bePERFECT in a conventional way .. however they are imperfect which makes them even MORE wonderful. If your looking for book boyfriend potentials you don't have to look any further! I enjoyed every page of this novel and of course it made me emotional .. since July is born in July which makes her and I a Cancer therefore I can blame being a Cancer for always being so damn emotional! Speaking of the zodiac wheel .. I'm positive Wes is a Capricorn only because they seem the EXACT opposite BUT when they unite .. it's an unbreakable bond. These characters along with the rest were thoroughly written as was that INCREDIBLE dialogue. I HIGHLY recommend this book but STOP before you add this to your TBR .. go ahead and add the series prior to this spinoff (TRUST ME .. YOUR WELCOME!)

I can not tell you how excited I was when I heard this spin off series was going to happen. I really enjoyed the Until series. So, of course, I was was eager to read this one as soon as possible.

Until July is about the daughter of Asher Mayson and November, their book was Until November. July is a twenty six year old woman, a veterinarian, and the eldest of Asher and November's daughters. Her life has been full of love and support from all of her family and she is doing what she loves, in other words, her life is great. But something is missing, maybe something she didn't even know she was looking for. She has witnessed her parents experience the "boom" between them, something she has yet to experience. That all changes when on one day, she is riding her motorcycle and tries to not to hit a bird, and in the process almost hits a man on his bike. That man was Wes Silver, a hot ex-marine biker. One look at him, and she can't help feel this strong attraction to him. It seems he feels the same way about her, too, because the next thing she knows, he stars pursuing her.
I really love the whole idea of all the Mayson children from the original series, having their own book. This was the first of the spin off and it was great. Wes was smoking hot alpha, he may have not been perfect, but he could be so sweet when he wanted, and was super protective of those he loves. I really liked July, she was tough and stubborn as her parents, but she was also very caring. I loved how she made Wes work for her before anything really happened. After a while, July couldn't help but cave in, I mean Wes was pretty damn sexy.

I liked the story, and the very steamy sex scenes. There wasn't just romance, there was a bit of drama near the end that I did enjoy, but it was borderline over the top for me, just because it came out of nowhere. However, it was still very good and I was really happy seeing the Mayson men once again in this book. You have no idea how much Asher melted my heart! His relationship with his daughter July was beautiful and he was such a great dad. Overall, it was a great read. It had some swoony moments, as well as some suspense that kept things interesting. I am very much looking forward to Jax's book next. I can't wait!

DNF at 50% Horrible! I just couldn’t stomachs this anymore.

‼️OWD- he lets a club bunny who he recently had sex with hang on him and kiss his neck in front of the h WHILE ON A DATE! ….SHE has to be the one to remove the girl. 🤬THEN HE GETS MAD AT HER FOR BEING DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!!

‼️Wes NEVER ANSWERS HER QUESTIONS ABOUT OW BEING IN HIS BED AND IF HE CHANGES THE SHEETS. He just shrugs off her insecurities like she is stupid.
‼️Until they have THE TALK, it’s pretty safe to say he wasn’t celibate.
‼️We don’t get Wes POV so we legit have NO IDEA WHAT WHERE WHEN W OW OR WHO HE EVEN IS.
‼️Wes was a complete asshole douche. There was literally NOTHING good about this man.
‼️He wanted to open a strip club🙄. He was a horrible stereo type.

Until July begins with us meeting July while she is out riding her motorcycle. A routine ride changes her life when she sees a group of motorcycle riders and becomes entranced with one of the riders. Captivated by him she almost wrecks, swerving into one of the guys to avoid a bird on the road.
Wes can’t believe the biker who almost took him out to save a bird is actually a female, a beautiful one at that. It’s more than her beauty that draws him to her, she is attempting to save a small bird, something most people would ignore and move on from.
‘I have a date. I have a date with a hot biker who just adopted two dogs. Yeah, I was right in my last assessment of him. I’m screwed.
After leaving from their strange encounter neither are sure they will ever see the other again. Until Wes showed up at July's veterinary office to adopt a dog. Being the alpha, MC man he is he decides he wants to get to know July and doesn’t give her a chance to object.
July isn’t used to this behavior and is completely thrown off by his aggressive, take charge attitude. Despite that she can’t deny her attraction and desire to be around Wes. I loved how Wes was relentless in his pursuits. He knew July was different than the other girls, she made him want more. He didn’t run from his feelings, but embraced them and the possible future they could have.
You’re mine. I can’t tell the future, but I don’t think that’s going to change…
While Wes and July are getting to know each other, drama is brewing in the background. I don’t want to spoil the story, but want to include that this story has plenty of drama and intrigue to keep the story moving quickly. I like when my MC books have that build up when you know stuff is about to go down and you are just waiting. I enjoyed watching things unfold on both the MC front and within their relationship.
I love a good MC story, they are sort of my thing. Some people are turned off by the hero’s gruffness, but I love it. Until July started off strong, but I didn’t enjoy the choppiness of the story. It felt like we were jumping from moment to moment, causing the story to not flow well. However, I did it enjoy the plot and do recommend it. It’s steamy, gritty, but has moments of sweetness. I can’t wait to read more from this series.

ARR writes great, sweet and easy reads, but I was hoping as it was a new series, it might be slightly different to her previous works. Turns out it was the same.

This was just an ok read for me.... it could be because the last two stories I’ve read were super good and anything following was bound to be a let down. Unfortunately it didn’t wow me at all! Even though it didn’t have the “wow factor “ I’m still going to check out book #2 and see if this series will get better!!! Fingers crossed!!!!

Until July has brought my lovefest with Aurora Reynolds back to the forefront! I first fell hard for her with Asher and Cash Mayson...but I wanted more after Nico's tale. Well, I got exactly what I wanted with the fabulous Mayson offspring.
July is the first born daughter of Asher and November and she smart, sexy, and fiercely independent...just linker mamma! She spends her days saving animals as a vet and her down time free ridin' on two wheels. She had no idea an afternoon ride would have her come face to face with an MC ridin, leather clad, alpha presenting hottie. Wes Silver is bad-ass thru and thru and just happens to appreciate July's sass and swagger!
Just like the founding couples of this series, July and Wes are fast! Now I tend to preach my insta-love hate but for some reason, with this series, I find myself not only expecting the fast fire but wanting it. Fire and lust, yes please! But the whole...you are mine, we are it forever, baby/future seeing was kinda a boo for me.
That basically was my only gripe and it was a "me issue" at that! So bravo to Ms. Reynolds for writing a smoking hot tale with two completely likable characters that was equal parts sweet and heat. Wes Silver was pretty damn perfect in my opinion. He was hot-headed and possessive but completely open and all in when it came to his woman. He gave July comfort, safety, and pure devotion...nothing less than what her father gave her mother! He also challenged her yet let her live her life...who wouldn't jump on the back if that bike forever?
If you like a great steamy read with an side of adrenalin fueled action then Until July will be a perfect read. Romance, sex, bike riding and gun toting ex military men, scary bad guys, amazing hot and protective cousins, a big fabulous and supportive family...just a bit of everything needed for a fun read!

LOVED this book! July may be my favorite ARR heroine yet and Wes was so freaking swoonworthy, exactly how I like my biker men to be. Not to mention fantastic side characters, and Asher as a hot dad. I can't wait for the rest of the Mayson kids to find their boom!

It was certainly nice knowing you, ARR.So in my review of Until November that I later on deleted and re-rated after re-reading it (because I felt like I was really rude the first time I reviewed it), I once mentioned that ARR's stories were like carbon copies of Kristen Ashley's (since Until November reminded me of a certain KA book) but without the engaging writing or something along those lines. Nevertheless, I still managed to read the whole Until series despite the "eyebrow raising"s that the books garnered. What can I do? I love books with
When I found out that the next generation of Maysons were going to have their own spin-off series, I was both excited and dreading about it. I had so much expectations. I was looking forward to see how ARR would tackle it, seeing her improvements.
Did I see the latter? Nope. If you read July's mom's story, Until November, you'll see that the same recipe was used for Until July.

Same old, same old. But this was certainly worse than Until November and here were some of my reasons why:
♔ Alpha male. He's hot but he's also rude as fuck.
The first time they met, Wes called her a bitch. Now I know that's a biker lingo but seriously, but I thought that was reserved for the females the bikers knew and not for somebody they just met. There were also times when it felt like July wasn't Wes's equal, like he could do whatever the fuck he wanted but July couldn't.♔ Love story at warp speed. Because insta-lust wasn't enough.“You have a key to my house that I never gave to you.”
“That shit doesn’t matter. Now, tell me what the fuck you were thinking keeping that from me.”
“No, you tell me how you think it’s okay to take a key to my house that I never gave you.”
“You think I don’t know what you’re doing?” He points a finger at me and a vein in his neck begins to pulse. “Answer my question before I take you into your room and spank your ass,” he roars, and I take a step back.
“Do not threaten me¸” I hiss.
Like I said.
Half of the time, the book baffled me so much.
In the second chapter of the book, they're already cuddling. I'm not even kidding. And cuddling is like more intimate than sex for me because you only do that to people you're comfortable with, right? And she only went out with the guy once and she was already so intimate with him. What if he was an axe-murderer? Serioulsy?
It was only the second chapter of the book but it felt like they slipped into this really intimate relationship that I had not seen progress at all. It was instantaneous. Wes decided he wanted July, *snaps fingers* they would be together.
♔ The future that didn't sound like the future at all.
Let me remind you that this story was set twenty-six years after Until November. So assuming that the latter was set in our time right now or precisely in 2013, Until July should be in the future like around 2039 or something. But did it feel like that? Nope. It sounded like July's love story happened a few years after her mom's. Now, I didn't want to read a futuristic romance, but hey, the author decided to write it. She might as well be precise about it or at least try to.
I was so tempted to DNF this book so many times but I didn't for some unknown reason. (I think I wanted to know if she'll get preggers.)
And in the last part of the book, it turns out that another spin-off series is going to be made for the male Maysons too. I finally decided that it was time to leave. You can't certainly expect me to read like what, ten plus or more of these?

Until July is another Aurura Rose Reynolds piece of magic! There is something about her formula of alpha male meets strong heroine that makes my heart all "a flutter"! Reading is like a smooth glass of wine. Sometimes I am the mood for something rich and heavy and other times light and sweet. It all depends on what my pallot is craving. After some heavy reads, Until July was the perfect read. It was light and sweet! Delicious!
July is the daughter of November and Asher. (Sigh! They are two of my favorite characters from her first book in the Until Series)! July is all grown up now and is a vet in the same small town she was raised in. Like her mom, she loves to ride her motorcycle. While out on her bike, she collides (literally) with Wes. Wes is a former Navy Seal who now is a member of an MC and runs a shop in town. (Yes, it is a very interesting combination. Let’s table that point of discussion for later in the review). Things with Wes and July take about one hot second to begin to develop.
July has been concerned about injured dogs that keep getting dropped off at her Vet office. (Cue the major conflict that causes the two main characters to be drawn together!) Wes instantly becomes involved in her life and must stay with her in order to keep her protected. It's a quick trip to true romance so if that bothers you then skip this one!
“There’s probably someone out there who can give her more than I can, but I would kill that guy before I gave him the chance to prove me right. I love her with everything in me. Since almost the moment I met her, I’ve felt a pull to her unlike anything I have felt before. I don’t deserve her, but no one will ever love her like I do or will.”-Wes
What works really well in this book is the chemistry between July and Wes. July is a likeable character (although sometimes a little weepy) and it is obvious she is drawn to Wes.
"I don’t know if it’s possible to fall in love in such a short time, but if it is, I’m in love with Wes Silver. Now I just had to figure out how to tell my dad about him."-July
Wes is an extremely likable alpha male. Honestly, at times his domineering was a bit too strong for my taste but the combination of these two characters worked perfectly. I also attribute my liking to this book due to the comfortable writing style of Aurora Rose Reynolds. Bottom line- you know what to expect when you pick up one of her books and that is just fine with me.
At first, it was a bit daunting to wrap my head around an ex Navy Seal turned biker. But truth be told I enjoyed the young lovers so much, I was able to accept it pretty quickly. Wes is a bad boy with a big heart!

Another fantastic addition to this book was having more of Asher and November. Sometimes characters just stay with you.

This is one of my fabulous Hoopla finds and its an author I absolutely love!!
I was beyond excited to start listening to this audiobook, however things didn't work out as expected. I finished the book, but not without a few minor issues. As I stated before, I love all things ARR. She rocks! This book however, wasn't a favorite.
On to the next one...

I was lucky enough to read EARLY. Thank the dear lord from above because it was BEAUTIFUL!!
July is totally a replica of her momma. She is a vet, and became one because Beau was her buddy and she loved him oh so much. Seriously isn't that freaking adorable!
I may add July is one bad ass chick. seriously she has a don't give a shit personality, I think she has the looks of her mama and attitude of her daddy. Did I mention she can ride a motorcycle!!!
I don't want to spoil it to much but Wes the man in her life is one hot piece of ass and one of my favorite kind of man! He was all alpha, but July gave him a run for his money! The man with his shirt of is like looking a stick of cotton candy, but you can't have any!! SO damn good!!

The chemistry was great I loved it and there was just enough drama, some drama that I didn't like, but finally understood!! OMG I need all the kids books now the cousins are seriously worse than the original Mason men and its going to be a rocky road ahead!! LOVE IT THO!! The Mason BOOM is just spectacular and I can't even begin to explain the feeling I get when the BOOM happens!! =)
At first I didn't know if I was going to like the kids story, because face it i loved there parents how could I love them. Aurora proved me oh so wrong and she seriously put a huge smile on my face after I read this. i may be in a book slump for awhile. It was that damn good!!
November and Asher do make appearances in this book and there love seems even stronger than before.

I was so happy when I knew ARR was goin 2 do the kids books an was excited when I knew it was goin 2 b July bein the first child like al the book from the until series I luv how they meet each other the way July meets Wes is great I luv how sassy July is with Wes an then when they meet again at Julys job I could c how much Wes wanted July straight away it was great cause July didn't want 2 have anything 2 do with him but she couldn't say no an I don't blame her biker tats sexy as hell how could say no 2 him ;)
It was great 2 c how July had grown into a gorgeous woman she sti had an amazing relationship with her family an I luvd what she had with her mum an dad it was so cute how she is still daddy's lil girls an how they r al so close it was good 2 get more of Asher an November luv them 2 an there relationship is still what it was like in there book an I liked we got more of the others from the family as well
Wes was pretty good workin his way into Julys life he was so protective of her rite from the beginning but July fit into his life so well she is used 2 the whole protective thing with her dad uncle's an even cousins they r al the same but she didn't let them away with much she is a strong woman an know what she wants so there was a threat of a few spankings haha but that would just turn her on haha there sexual relationship was HOT I liked the way they couldn't keep her hands of each other they just sizzle 2gether nothing better than a hot but of sexy time ;)
The story grabbed me straight away I couldn't put it down I luvd the writing the characters the way it fit into the other series overall it was amazin an I highly recommend it xxx

Wes Silver wants to ring the neck of the idiot who ran him off the road, that is until he sees the stunning beauty in front of him. July Mayson knows all about bossy men, her father is the worst and he comes with a ton of uncles. Wes knows July is his one, but July doesn't really know much about dating or how to handle a man like Wes Silver.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Loved Wes, he is a tough one and when Asher finds out his daughter is dating a biker, priceless. Look forward to more in the series.

Boy was I disappointed.....
So the Until Series is one of my favorites and to be honest I don't really know where to start on this one. But I'll try.
July Mayson is the eldest of Asher and November. She is a vet and loves to ride her motorbike. Due to checking a hot dude out she manges to dodge a bird and nearly tasers the H.
Wes Silver is a DICK. Not much else to say really. He and his brothers are in a MC.
He invites July out on a date then ignores her. She goes home. He accuses her of sleeping with her cousin Jax. Ewww, hello really?
The way he acts towards her at the camp party. July you should have given up after the date fiasco. Up to where I DNF it she can hold her own. Now there is being domiant like Asher and there is Wes.
The story line has potential but really killing off so many dogs. I mean July is obviously a vet there must be something that she can do. I felt as if the story was all over the place. Is this a MC book? NA? I'm confused. I also think that I have fallen on my head and have broke something as I really do not like it.

July was just out for a relaxing ride on her bike when she crossed paths with the motorcycle club. She really didn’t mean to nearly wreck Wes Silver... but with one encounter he’s hooked and for a girl raised by a Mason man, she knows she’s got her hands full when Wes doesn’t seem to take no for an answer.
I really do enjoy these series that continue on with the kids of the characters that we loved so much. It feels like just yesterday when I was hit with the Asher Fog and loved seeing him and November all these years later, still in love.
Until July gave us a bit of drama, but it wasn’t too over the top. I really enjoyed Wes’ pursuit and the chemistry between these two. We get to see the whole gang in this book, all grown up and get the insight into the follow up in the series as well. I think what I enjoyed most was that this was just a good romance read. After having a few books knock the wind right out of me, I really needed something that could just make me smile and feel happy. This did the trick completely.
If you enjoyed the original books in this series, this is no doubt one you’ll love!

So this girl..This girl I love her. I have to say I fell in love with her during Until November and then Until Trevor it got so bad that while waiting for Until Lilly I started stalking her. Stalking her daily, hourly. With each and every book that she puts out it keeps getting better and better and I just can’t wait for more. I was lucky enough to be her ‘assistant’ at WBW and while there I was trying to pick her brain, but all she said was It’s going to be BOOM and let me tell you boom it was. Here is my journey..
So for everyone that follows the Mayson brothers know that they take care of their women. Well imagine being the daughter of a Mayson. Well let’s just say it is no walk in the park. There are many death threats to your dates, if you are even allowed to date, because that just is the craziest thing that a father, a Mayson dad wants to hear.
Meet July Mayson, daughter to Asher and November Mayson. She is a tough cookie this one. She is a tough bike riding cookie, and I’m not talking about a ten-speed bicycle, I’m talking full on ninja motorcycle. She loves riding; she feels free when she is riding. Imagine her surprise that while riding she passes four burly riders, all riding Harley’s, all big and all from a club. Yup…this smells trouble and it’s only page 2…
From the back, his hair is the first thing I notice. It’s slightly long on top and buzzed on the sides. My eyes move to the expanse of his back, the wide set of his shoulders, and the tan skin covering his lean muscles. His bike is low to the ground, and the bars are in front of him in a way that he has to stretch his arms straight out, causing every muscle to flex and move, making it look like the tattoos are alive and dancing.
Ok thats it, decision’s made, I’m getting myself a bike. Ok, first lessons, then bike, ok first helmet, then lessons then bike..Ok fine no bike, but I so want to be on the back of that bike.
So July seems to be in the wrong place at the time. While she is minding her own business and checking out the hot biker dude, she swerves her bike to save a injured bird on the side of the road. Yup I said a bird. You see little July Mayson she grew up to be a veterinarian and she made an oath to save animals. Well no one mentioned this to hot biker dude, you see hot biker dude thinks she is a dude. Yes a dude, it’s not till they follow her, and by follow I mean chase her down and rip off her helmet. Can you imagine their shock and horror that this dude is in fact a chick, a chick with a Taser? You didn’t think that Asher would let her be without one did you? She tasers the hot biker dude, making him growl while he is knocked on his behind.
I lean forward and start up my bike, being careful of the bird that is now sitting close to me. I look at Hot Biker Dude one more time and lift my chin. He smiles, crosses his arms over his chest, and leans back in his seat. I know right then that if I ever see him again, I’m screwed.
July meet your boom -Wes Silver. Wes is in for a surprise. He isn’t looking for love but the minute she knocks him down he knows he has to know more about her. So he does what every Alpha male knows how to do- he goes after what he wants.
They say a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach; well with July the way to her heart is through animals. Imagine her surprise when he shows up at her clinic looking to adopt a guard dog.
“Three times you’ve made me want to f*ck you or fill that smart mouth of yours.” He steps towards me, his body pressing me into the wall behind me, and his large hand takes hold of my waist. I get lost in his eyes and words for a moment, but then I remember where we are and who he is. His head dips towards mine, and I do the only think I can think of-O cover my mouth with my hand.
How can you think she would give it up so easy? Nope, nothing July does is easy. But now the challenge has been made. He makes it clear then and there that he will get his kiss, but he’s going to make her beg for it.
He inhales at my neck and his tongue touches the skin behind my ear, making my knees actually shake. I have been in love; I’ve been in lust too, but this is something new, something that makes me feel like every cell in my body is fighting to pull me closer to him. I duck down and slide under his arm then walk backwards until there’s at least twelve feet between us. Only then do I remove my hand from my mouth.
So since they both like each other it’s only normal that they start dating. I mean no one would say no to Wes. I can tell you that I would say yes in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t even wait for him to finish the sentence.
So these two, you would think it would be smooth sailing; how wrong we are. Their first date is a complete bust, it’s such a bust that Wes ends up alone. So clearly these two aren’t going to have rainbows and butterflies. But then again is true love ever easy? The answer is no. It’s so much better when you have to fight for it, when you have to fight together in order to be one, and that is what they do.
As a little girl, I told myself that my Prince Charming would love to ride motorcycles, have a soft spot for animals, and be strong like my father. When I got older, I realized I would have a better chance of finding the Holy Grail than the man I envisioned spending the rest of my life with.
July Mayson meet your boom. Asher Mayson, meet the man who is going to take care of your little girl. The man that will not stand down and ever let her fall. The man who will fulfill all of her dreams, who will fight with her and for her. Who will go crazy with her and because of her. And she will enjoy and cherish every single step because you taught he how to love and most importantly how to love like a Mayson.
It’s not my first kiss, but it’s the kiss-the one that makes my soul light up, the kiss you wait your whole life for, the kiss that changes everything you thought you knew. I place my finger to my lips, trying to memorize the feeling, knowing I will never have that with another person.

BOOM!!!!! Aurora Rose Reynolds did it again with UNTIL JULY. She delivered a booming, hot, wild, sexy read. I enjoyed this book and the insta-love that Ms. Reynolds is known for. Until July chronicles the life of July, the daughter of Asher and November Mayson. July is a veterinarian and when she meets Wes Silver, an MC biker, there is an instant attraction brewing between these two. The chemistry of Wes and July was smoking hot and steamy. Add in some drama and lots of steamy moments, Ms. Reynolds will have you wanting to devour this book in one sitting.
Until July had characters that I found refreshing. July was a strong, sassy and funny heroine. And I was immediately drawn to her personality. And as for Wes, can we say swoon worthy. He was indeed the strong alpha male that I loved. He was the type of guy who wasn't looking for love but when he meets July, everything changes. It was boom and he knows she's the one. If you are fan of the Until series, Ms. Reynolds will have you hooked once again. What I love about reading Ms. Reynold's books is that you can easily lose track of time and get lost in her books. So if you are looking for a fun and sexy read, then I highly suggest you go read Until July and meet the Mayson family.

To me, the Mayson family can do no wrong. I loved the parents story, and now thankfully, we get their kids stories. July was a great way to start this new generation series.
Not only do we get all the Mayson craziness, but we get a sexy biker with Wes Silver. Their meeting was classic - one to tell the grandchildren for sure. He was so perfect for July. He could totally handle her and her family - winning them both over easily.
If you are a fan of Aurora's Until series - then you will not be disappointed with this book - and the best part is, there are a lot of more Mayson's to be written about!
