Unholy Trinity #2

Lucan : The End

Rate this book
Five years ago, I ruined us before we even started.

She thinks she got away from me.

That she’s finally free.

How wrong she is.

I lied to her about a lot of things, but I didn’t lie when I said she was mine and I was fucking hers. There is no escaping me.

Escaping what we could be together.

I’ve been in hell for five excruciating long years and I’m not the same boy who made the wrong choice. I’m a man that has killed, maimed, and ruined everything good in his life just to get to this point and now there’s no going back.

I am Lucan Volpe, the Capo di tutti capi of the Holy Trinity and I’m claiming my queen.

Lucan "The End" (Holy Trinity, #2) is the conclusion of Andrea & Lucan's story.

Adriana Brinne, is a new author who fell in love with reading from a very young age but never felt brave enough to share her words with the world. Born and raised on the enchanting island of Puerto Rico, Adriana’s tropical upbringing imbued her with a deep appreciation for beauty and storytelling. By day, she navigates the world of computer science as a full-time tech, but when she’s off the clock, she indulges in her favorite contemporary romances written by her favorite authors and binge-watches The Big Bang Theory.

Adriana’s writing is characterized by her love for sweet and spicy romance, soft yet strong female protagonists, and grumpy heroes who secretly adore them. While she delights in exploring a variety of romantic tropes, she steers clear of themes involving cheating or death, preferring to craft stories that evoke all the feels without those heavy dark elements.

Since I read "Andrea" a few months ago I was delighted with the universe Adriana Brinne created because the characters seem so real and each one denotes a very marked personality that makes you fall in love with them. Now we know more deeply what happened and also from different perspectives, which I loved because we have a little bit of almost everyone. Regarding the story, from the beginning it grabs you because from the way “Andrea” ended, I was eager to know what was going on. Andrea is a strong, stubborn woman, fulfilling a promise to carry on her mother's legacy as a rising fashion designer. She is a woman with many nuances, although she has a strong character, her great weakness is little Ronan who means everything to her. Lucan has not given up and once he finds her he tries to win her back and discover all her secrets. They both form an explosive couple and experience many ups and downs in their relationship, but love is stronger. And he is so devoted to Andrea! It is an exciting story from start to the end. Secrets are revealed, loyalties are questioned, there's action, suspense, and plenty of steamy romance, and sweet moments… Little Roman won my heart! And Enzo too 🤭.
You must read it!

Happy Release Day Adriana💛

Lucan is now LIVE.!

“They all want to be king. They don’t know how fucking heavy the crown is.”

Guys it’s here and it’s amazing.
Adriana talent is unreal. Her mind is so creative. I’ve said it before this world is like no other.

I can not get over the world building and the details that have gone into this book.
You would not believe that this is only the second book she has written. It is written perfectly. Absolutely flawless.

Lucan’s and Andrea’s story continues from where Andrea left off. Andrea is now in New York with her father and brother while Lucan is about to head into The Holy Ceremony. The book then skips 5 years and Lucan has had enough of waiting around and he’s ready to bring his queen home.

There love has been there from the beginning. You feel it when you’re reading it. There’s so much passion, it’s so heavy, there hate, there love, there’s is no line in between.
“You are fire, baby and I’ve been craving your sweet burn all my life.”

God he gives me all the feels. 😝

What an amazing conclusion to Andrea’s and Lucan’s story. This duet was perfect. It’s very bitter sweet for me I’m sad I won’t get anymore of them but I’m so excited for the next book TDYK coming later in the year.

I HAVE TO MENTON THAT THIS BOOK HAS DIFFERENT POVS, LUCAN, ANDREA, LORENZO, ADRIANA, KADRA,FALLON AND VALENTINO.

YOU GET TO SEE INTO THIS CRAZY WORLD, JUST READING THERE CHAPTERS HAS ME DESPERATE FOR MORE. I’m most excited for Enzo’s and ? Book LOL.
He is ruthless, he is a F**K, He has a dark king inside of him that needs to let rip.
His relationship with Lucan in his book was brilliant, the banter was hilarious. I’m a little obsessed with him.

“You love my dark, huh?” - Lorenzo

Love his dark 😂

I can’t wait to see more of this world come to life. I haven’t been this excited for a mafia series since I found Cora’a series The Camorra Chronicles.

I am so so excited for what else is to come.
Well done Adriana. 🤍

LUCAN, The End is the epic conclusion of Andrea and Lucan’s story by

I can’t give too much away because I feel as though literally anything can be a spoiler lol. This review was so hard to write because the surprises in the book had me shocked.

We already know Lucan betrayed Andrea. Book 1 ended on a cliffhanger and I can’t say where it picks up.

Now we have to see if Lucan wants his power or his love. It’s definitely not as easy as simply choosing as his family’s life hangs in the balance. Lucan loves his sisters and is very protective of them which was so sweet to read.

Lucan is definitely an anti-villain that showed tremendous character growth.

Andrea, now the head of a fashion empire also grew tremendously.

A lot of things happen and this journey isn’t whatsoever. At the end, I smiled so hard. It was such a good ending!

You also get more of Andrea and Lucian in book 2.5 Unholy Night. If you want more Lucan and Andrea I definitely recommend Unholy Night after this for cute moments.

ARC REVIEW
omggg this book. I need lucan & andreas happy ending after the first book & this one delivered it. where I loved the first book but It didn’t complete me because of the cliffhanger, this book had what was missing for me.

We got to see the amazing character development from both andrea & lucan and their new found maturity in contrast from “Andrea: The Beginning” I also loved seeing Andrea & Lucan find their way back to each other & fall back into love. This book really made me fall in love with Lucan.

The plot was intriguing and set up future books in this mafia world in the best way possible. I cant wait to read about the rest of the side characters!!

Lucan "The End" is the conclusion to Andrea & Lucan’s story. I was really excited for this book after that cliffhanger in Andrea "The Beginning". And I have to say I wasn't disappointed.

This book was so so so good. I loved every minute of it. The way the story hooked me from the start to finish. Nowhere did I feel bored or wanting to drop it. This book really surprised me n it went beyond my expectations.

Also I have to say this, the author Adriana Brinne has improved a lot with her writing. That is a huge achievement for a debut writer in such a short time. And I wish her good luck for her future projects.

This series is different from every other mafia books I have read. And it was really refreshing to read something new in the same trope.

The story started off with where the previous book ended with The Holy Trinity fighting for the position of Capo for the three mafia families n Andrea along with her younger brother n father moving back to New York.

Andrea. Wt can I say about her. She was really different n came a long way from the teenager she was. She made a huge name for herself in the fashion world after taking over her mother's business. And fought hard to cherish her mother's legacy. She didn't fear to take big risks. She was really strong yet so vulnerable. Her connection with her friend n father n her son was so beautiful to watch. The way she didn't let anyone walk all over her. She proved everybody who doubted her wrong. She was fierce n protective over people she cared a lot about.

Lucan. Damn that man just surprised a lot in this book. Ngl in the start, he was so cold n stone-hearted. And the lengths he was willing to go to get what he wanted. And he succeeded in it. But still he was different from all the typical mafia men. And probably the only man who hated his position as Capo but did it only for the sake of protecting his sisters. He made me swoon the entire time in those honeymoon scenes. He was such a perfect husband. And later a perfect father. The way he was so protective over his family n was even wiling to sacrifice himself for them.

Lucan n Andrea story started with lies, betrayal, heartbreak, pain n suffering. The events in the past made them not trust each other. But that didn't stop Lucan from persuing her. But despite that their time together during the honeymoon, they started to open up n slowly trust each other. And also heal the wounds caused by the other. Also they both matured a lot over the years. Their chemistry was intense n they still had that connection.

I loved every moments of them with their son. It was so beautiful. I loved every one of them. And the way Rowan saw his father as a hero was 😭😭😭😭

My man Lorenzo. Damn he is everything. I loved him so much in this book. The way he only cared about 2 ppl in his life n one of them was his nephew. He was the perfect uncle. Oh n he was a clown most of the book. 😂🤣😂🤣

I loved all the new side characters that was introduced. I can't wait to read their books. I know I'm going to love them.

One of the thing I loved about this book or this series is the multiple characters pov giving the way to future stories n plots.

The twist n revelations was so shocking n unexpected. I never saw them coming. And it made me stop reading to digest it.

The epilogue was everything. It was so perfect n beautiful. 😭😭😭😭

Overall this book was TOP TIER. And deserves more than 5 stars. And deserves all the praise. Adriana did a wonderful job with this.

Thanks Adriana Brinne for giving me the arc.

Lucan is the heartstopping conclusion to Andrea and Lucan's love story and while this book has left my inner hopeless romantic perfectly satisfied, it's also left me dying for all the side characters!

Adriana is a gifted storywriter, she has a way with words that's truly beautiful and it literally pulled me in immediately.

I loved Andrea's character in this book, she didn't let anyone walk all over her and I absolutely adored that. Lucan is an absolute softie at heart, and that came out more in this book than in the previous one. While I do love myself an a**hole, I still loved every second of his immense adoration for Andrea.

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐈’𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩. 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐧

Watching them fall for each other again was amazing. I absolutely adore how they found their way back to each other despite all the lies they kept telling each other initially.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and all the possibilities its left open, and I can not wait to read more from Adriana.

Y’all aren’t ready omg!! You’re totally gonna fall more in love with Lucan. He’s still an a** at first but he slowly starts to show off his real side and gosh he is so romantic and just an all around good guy. I love him!

I loved their journey, and their romantic moments were everything. Lucan really knows how to make a girl swoon and I don’t just mean Andrea! Also, Roman is everything, I love that kid.

As in Andrea you get some chapters in the other characters POVS and ah damn Adriana really knows how to give us crumbs and build up the anticipation! I cannot wait for all these characters to get their own books! So looking forward to them all!

And the plot in this and how it all happens and just so many surprises and new characters you’ll want more of and fall in love with. I honestly loved this book. It was perfect for Lucan and Andrea and really got me excited for the whole rest of the series!

ARC REVIEW

OMFG!!!

I don’t know where to start. This book completely blew my mind. It was even better than the 1st book and it was the best conclusion for Andrea and Lucan’s love story.

The plot starts five years later. Andrea lives in NY with her son Roman and her fashion designer career is getting better and better. She can’t forget about Lucan but she also knows it’s better without him for her son. Unfortunately 5 years rule passed during which Andrea could keep Roman a secret and now she knows she’ll have to tell Lucan. Lucan though finds out himself about the secret she kept from him and now he’ll do everything to make her his wife and brings his family back to Detroit. Even though Andrea doesn’t want it, Lucan’s stubbornness isn’t helping her in doing what she wants.

I’m obsessed with this story. There’s nothing I’d change in it. There was everything I wanted to be in it and even more. I loved that the author gave us so many insight on the Holy Trinity world and the past of both main characters. I also liked the multiple POVs in the book which also gave me little sneak peek into what will be next.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love love loved this book! I'm honestly in love with Adriana's writing style and can talk about this book for hours. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions and I never wanted it to end.

Andrea and Lucan are both so different from any other mafia characters in other books. Honestly all of Adriana's characters are so unique and intriguing.. I can't wait for all of their books.

Andrea and Lucan were hotter than hell. Their journey was full of ups and downs but so worth it in the end. Lucan made me swoon so many times throughout the book.
Roman was my angel. You can't help but fall in love with him.

Their were so many twists and surprises I could have never guessed . The book consisted of POV of other characters also which I thoroughly enjoyed. At this point I'm not sure which character is my fav because they all are.

This book was exceptionally written playing with my heart strings throughout the book and left me craving for more.

Lucan was the continuation of Andrea that is set five years in the future.
This book has a lot of tropes that i’m absolutely obsessed with which are mafia romance, second chance, marriage of convenience and secret baby.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish and ended up finishing it in one sitting. Lucan was the perfect husband and I loved seeing the way he cared for Andrea and Roman. Andrea’s fiery and sassy attitude was one of my favorite parts of the book I love that she held her own and was Lucan’s equal.

There were a couple of things that caught me off guard which made this even more entertaining. Moreover, I loved being reunited with the rest of the characters and i can’t wait for what’s to come.

After reading Andrea I was excited to see what Adriana would deliver and I was not disappointed at all. This book was way better and the character development was extremely obvious for both MC's. They had matured and it was more entertaining to read, especially Lucan's. He matured so much sometimes I felt like he was a whole different character sometimes. I loved his whole development and

The plot wasn't really developed it was a whole lot of patricide and family betrayal. But it was still interesting to read about the Holy Trinity. There were a few characters that I was extremely invested in namely Fallon, Kadra and the twins Lorenzo and Valentino. I cant wait to see what is in store for them.

well, where do i start? so much happened so much emotion. i took some time to process the whole thing as i'm ugly crying on the last 40 minutes of the book. what can i say about this book? beauty. (this could be a long talk tonight, idk where to start as the book is also fucking long). maybe i'm gonna start with what i like and what i dislike first and then proceed to my deep thought. how bout that?
▪︎ so, what i like about this book: PLOT WISE every characters has their own part, their own back story, their omg dynamics on Holy Trinity life was literally my roman empire (family dynamics, friends-enemies shenanigans, and their joint war to destroy the bad blood on the whole organization) so much characters involved in things that happened so i feel like this series is gonna be a BIG ONE at least for my dark romance reading journey, the writing style (i love that the author decided to keep things explicit), the way the author brought up "Lucan" as a character into her writing was exellent too. he was surpassing my every expectation. he love hard, he grief hard, he hurt hard, and he sacrifice hard. his heart is basically golden. i just like how deep this character got to develop in the span of 5 years (time skip from the first book) i love Andrea so much, she got hurt too much but she forgave and still prioritize her son. her son tho omg so cute, one of my most reason to like this book
▪︎ what i dislike is the quotes as openings on the chapter (it doesn't even have anything to do with the chapter/books. but it appear. it annoys me tbh) i suggest adriana to seek for another quotes from someone like— idk maybe the great william shakespeare??! idk just don't put your random character shit taking as opening plz?? also the covers are hideous thanks

🌷[i highly recommend this book if you want to try a dark romance genre, looking for a new series to binge read, and looking for an underrated books from underrated authors with a great plot wise and well written]🌷

🚨not spoiler free
-------------------
so the book is about Lucan forcing Andrea into a marriage (the things happened between them explained in the Book 1). i love him so much. the way he was wanting to fix things up with Andrea for their better future. the way he genuinely regret for the past (but obv he had a good reason for it, he was young and fear for his sisters fate so he kinda throw Andrea under the bus but he realized it that it's wrong, so ge tried to fix things at that time but he trusted the wrong bitch and she is fucking selfish and fucked up things between everyone) and he is willingly to take the FULL BLAME and responsibility over everything even the things he didn't do but he think that he could do something about it. i might say that Lucan is a man with a heart of gold. he is respectful too for the way him communicating with Cassius (Andrea'a dad) and Valentina (Andrea's dead mom).

— he literally proved day and night that he love Andrea, that he genuinely want to make things work out for them. he gave her "space" eventho he kinda forced her into marriage but he did not force her to do things she dislike, he made her getting back her mom's company, she was his muse too, he really give his all to her like it was soooo heartwarming.

i liked it, every momment they had in Florence was pretty much reassure my heart. now that ik that this man wouldn't hurt Andrea again. Lucan develop into a character that i couldn't help but love. his dedication for Andrea was no joke. he was mad that Andrea hide Roman from him (their son) because he didn't get to be with Andrea when she bear the child, didn't know how it feels to see Roman first walking and talking—but he did not let the anger blind him again (sign that he is way way mature). he embrace it for the fact that Andrea did what she needs to be done as a mother and being in Detroit and in Holy Trinity was something far dangerous for her and Roman.

“I am sorry for keeping him from you.”
“So he is mine.” It’s all he says.
"Yes.” I bow my head in shame. He raises himself by his elbow and gives me all his attention and that only makes this situation worse. He grabs my chin and pulls me closer until we are nose to nose.
“Thank you.” He breathes.
“For what?” I am so confused. How can he act as if I didn’t keep his child from him and then repeatedly lied about it?
“First, for keeping our son safe and giving him a good life. The life he deserves and one I know I couldn’t have offered the both of you, not while I am who I am to the city of Detroit.” He lets go of my face and pulls back from me. “Thank you for trusting me enough to confess.” His smile is huge and is lighting up his face.

not long after that, Roman got kidnap along with Fallon. the war broke out (trust me i love every second of the war!! exactly what we need when it comes to taken down some huge organization—in this case the Volpe traitor) i love the war scene because there are a lot of strong organization join forces to do the job to kill the traitor. i am so excited to read the next work and see it from other people's POV. the war ends, with Lucan is giving up his position as a Capo. he goes back to Florence because he didn't want this life—threatening his loved ones' happinesz because he's still involved in this whole crime organization. but what i love is that now he got Dion Arnault (Andrea's friend) as his friend too (too loyal to him until Dion himself took action in Roman's rescue) and Rian Madden (his long lost half older brother).

after Roman got saved, Lucan can't handle the fact that he failed Andrea and their son once again. he was afraid that his bad blood would ruin this child's innocence and happiness. so he chose the hardest route to dissapear and divorcing Andrea— he told her that even if she decided to not let Roman know that he is his father, he'll understand. and that if there is one day in her life she find she can forgive and give her heart to Lucan again, he'll be there. am i cry? yes. painfully. he dissapear .. and then they meet again in so much bettee condition where Lucan is not involved in any mafia works and he is now a renown artist who resides in Florence. they met again in Florence. and the love story began. they got two children after Roman, named Allegra and Artemis.

Firstly, this book was on my most anticipated list, how the author ends the first book fuel my blood with gasoline. So, I was waiting for the fight of the year and Lorenzo gave it to me I swear I was gloating this man is my kind of crazy character, and deep inside he is a big softy for his nephew. Read his part in the book he is so fearless and dangerous I hope Adrianna will serve us a masterpiece with his book he deserves something big someone who will try to take something precious from him and this someone needs to be meticulous.

Let us begin with Lucan’s book I’ll be totally honest I liked it…. But I was waiting for a real fight between the girls, and I still need a big answer about a certain someone. You’ll def be like me asking yourself questions. The last time we saw Lucan he was a boy but here as a man he was different still cocky but more vulnerable I think, I didn’t know he could be like that. He had so many secrets and one of them is still eating me. Lucan will mesmerize you, I asked myself who was this man and where was this little manipulative boy from book 1. There was so much into this book and secrets were revealed chapter after chapter. About his relationship with Andrea, it was a tough fight, how to trust someone who breaks your heart and betray you as he did to her. Even if they are not my favorite couple I really like to read about them even if I thought it was toxic, the epilogue got my heart

I also want to say congratulation on this second book to Adriana, I can’t wait to continue this reading journey with you.

Okay, where should I start?
Perhaps for the gratitude for having met Adriana through the bookgram and for having known this fantastic universe of HT.
I really love Andrea and Lucan's story and everything they managed to overcome, especially in this book. The chemistry between these two is incendiary and I couldn't stop reading whenever they interacted (I confess that if Adriana wanted to write a book with only familiar moments between these two and Roman I would totally read it, in fact I NEED this).
Talking about the plot and the secondary characters I just……had my mouth open. The sequence of events and all the twists left me in awe!
I need the next book ASAP!! Seriously!! I just need it!

This was such a wonderful conclusion to the Andrea duet. Having ended on the cliffhanger of book one I was so eagerly awaiting to see what this book would hold and it really delivered. I liked seeing each of the characters and how they had grown and what personas they had come to and it was really interesting to see how they changed and interacted with one another. This world that the author crafted was really unique take on mafia and I really enjoyed it. Andrea and Lucan served the best kind of angst and you still feel the push and pull between them. They had wonderful chemistry and the storyline was enjoyable. The honey moon scene was everything. All in all I really loved this ending to this duet and am excited to read the rest of the characters books.

I'm rereading the entire Universe to write my reviews. Lets start with the Characters,

Andrea, I loved her so much but I do have some mix feelings for here in this book. She made a huge sacrifice and I really liked all that she did to protect his kid. But I somehow keep seeing some selfish side of her that its bothering me. I felt that on times she only thought of herself and how hard her life was even while referring to her brothers or everyone in the mafia, that I struggle a bit with her.

Lucan on the other hand did surprised me a lot. He is one of the few mafia Capos that actually hate the job and its taking it only for the sake of others. I wished we could have seen more of his calculative Capo side, being all ruthless and mafioso. I feel we saw more of this when he was a teenager than now.

Now onto the Story This story continues right after the other one left, Andrea is now in New York hiding from The Holy Trinity while at home everything is, well, a clusterfuck. I love all the aspects she made with this Mafia world and how they need to prove themselves in order to be boss of their respective families. Is ruthless and harsh and you can understand the trauma and the weight in their shoulders.
5 years pass, and Andrea had a Baby she was keeping from Lucan until she couldnt hide it anymore. The book was getting really good but the whole middle of it was basically them on honeymoon and, yes, all nice that they were knowing eachother again, but I missed a bit more of ruthless Lucan being the Capo of all families. I think that aspect was really overlooked and it should had been more of that. We barely see him in his role almost by the end of the book.
By the end of the book, Lucan decides to step down from the families, which technically you cant do, but he has a really nice and unexpected replacement to cover the business he is leaving behind.
I love the fact that even in a coldblooded world, he is still an artist. After Roman got saved, Lucan decides to disappear for their well being and that part I found it a bit uncharacteristically for how obsessed he was with Andrea, but the last scene where Roman has his birth certificate for him to sign? Here, have my heart.
As the first book, I love that every family has their own dynamic but also they are linked with one another and they somehow, form a front against the world. I love that we have different POVs so that helps the story to be more fluid and we have more background and knowledge on the other characters

Side Characters and Glimpse to other Books
〰️Nicolasi Family

My man Lorenzo. My favorite character in this series. I do love a psycho. Everytime I read a character with this type of personality im falling in love. I mean. The way he only cared about 2 people in the world? His nephew and his twin? Yep sign me in.

I wished we could also have seen more of Valentino grown up and what happened to him after the initiation but I guess his book is next and with the answers.

Cassius is by far the the most selfish character here. Listen I know he is trying to redeem himself but… like I said, he left everything in a matter of 3 months for Andrea and he became the father she needed while being still shit to the 17years old twins he also had. He only got better for her when he should had also being there for the twins. No wonder why Benedetto exploited this in other books, even while out, he was still just overlooking at Lorenzo and he didnt even bother to come back for Valentino. Yes he might have decided to stay but you are his father, you should have known better than to leave him behind.
Is in here where I see that Selfish side Andrea has.

〰️Volpe Family
I need to know what the hell happened to Gianna. What a mistery that is!

〰️Parisi Family
I was shocked with Kadras task and how she handle Arianna, I must say I was not expected the betrayal like this but also, I have to say is basically the merciful of all. Arianna got out in the best possible way, with no repercussions and im not sure if she deserved it all.

English

The story between Andrea and Lucan is concluded in this book, carried out 5 years after what happened in the first book, so it's necessary to read the first book to understand this. I started the book eager to know what would happen in this incredible world and I must say that I ended up quite satisfied.

Main characters

It's more than obvious how immature and sensitive were Lucan and Andrea in the previous book, with this, I loved the change that their characters had, Lucas is completely different from the first book, more mature and confident with what he wants. Whereas, Andrea is a strong woman who had to face the world alone after what happened, like Lucan she had an incredible change and I like her more than in the previous book.
“They all want to be king. They don’t know how fucking heavy the crown is.”

They are incredible together, each scene they had and seeing how little by little they regained their confidence in each other was wonderful. I honestly thought it would be more complicated but they were mature and decided to talk about their problems. Sure there is drama but it's the type of drama that I like, it was also much more emotional than I expected, I loved seeing how Lucan fought for his family.
I kiss him like there are no lies, secrets or betrayals between us. Just for tonight, I kiss him like we’re madly in love.

Plot

The book begins by explaining what it's the holy trinity of the mafia in this world, so if there were any doubts with the previous book in this they are answered and, its explained clearly. It starts pretty fast, we got into the action from the start, and that grab me, so it has a good pace and the chapters are short.

At the same time, it has multiple points of view, which annoys me, but I feel that the author handled it correctly, so it wasn't confusing. In the same way, the writing and flow of the plot compared to the previous one were much better, I can see a big change compared to the previous book.

Side characters

Again there are several characters and each one with different personalities, they all bring something unique to the story and it's easy to love and identify with one. Starting with the twins; Lorenzo is a very wild and unpredictable character, I honestly didn't think much of him but in this book, I loved him, his love for his brother and being on his mind was incredible.

Fallon and Valentino, what can I say, I need to know their story, we've only had little scenes but I need to know everything. In conclusion, I love twins, they deserve the world and I can't wait to know the story between Fallon and Valentino, period.
My witch has no idea the monster she created.

Now, Arianna was an unexpected character for me, in the last book I hated her but omg, she was so amazing, I loved her character. I'm dying to know what will happen to her and the senator; Bastian. Also her sister Kadra, I was already excited about her story but now I'm even more so, her past was very strong and sad I just want her to have a happy ending.
Arianna Luna Parisi is no more. In her place, the future First Lady of the United States of America is born. Washington, DC has no idea what’s coming to them.

Final thoughts

Overall it was an amazing conclusion for this couple, the story was entertaining and emotional, the characters charismatic and I look forward to more stories from this world.

This book was such a good continuation of Andrea, the details are there, not in an overwhelming way but in a way that gives you insight, it is not rushed and goes at a good moderate pace, but the slow burn is burning between the characters, they have the tension and they have the feelings and you die until they finally accept each other and their feelings for one another.

the side characters slayed as always, I LOVEEE Enzo, Dion, and Rian; even though they don't make a lot of appearances, they still slay and have my heart.

the angst in this book angsted so much, it hurt my soul; the twists twisted and the action happened. I didn't love how the spice was written but I'm sure it progresses. Overall it is a good book.

Yes! The conclusion of Andrea and Lucan’s story is here ❤️

I liked this book - but I felt something was missing and then I concluded that their story was dragged just a bit and should’ve been just one book, for my liking! I still enjoyed it :)

I also think there were some missing commas here and there. I mean, I sometimes overuse them lol but I couldn’t help but to find some missing.

Overall. the book is good, I can’t wait to read the next stories!! I know they are going to deliver, I trust my Queen 🤲🏻

Lucan turn out to be very sweet, and obsessed with his girl, I really enjoyed it.

The side characters were great, and even though this couple's story is complete, there's still some mysteries left, and I'm really looking forward to uncover them and finding out more about each character.

The time apart at the end didn't made that much sense to me, and I didn't like that Andrea waited so long to reunite with Lucan, but it's a sweet story and I'm very invested in this world, so I'm off to read Fallon's story and the rest 😉

I would say the second book of the series is much better than the first one. The author finally took her time to build Andrea and Lucan's relationships and not to mention her writing style is really beautiful. She definitely should get more recognition, and I also love how we can see the side characters playing important roles in the story and I'm genuinely interested to get to know more about them.

Andrea and Lucan are really not interesting. I’m just reading through to get to arianna’s story. A trilogy about the parisi sisters would have been better
