Friends to lovers isnt exactly the most original plot but in Secrets We Hunt we are presented with a modern spin on this tired genre. Tattooed, pierced, and a man with a genuinely good heart, you'll be wishing you had a friend like Wes cos damn!

Good erotic romance is hard to come by but Dana Isaly nails it everytime. With intriguing storylines and sex scenes that are smoking, I get giddy everytime a new release is mentioned. I'm not sure what you're waiting for if you haven't already tried this author?!

Hot Diggity. I loved Wes since Games We Play. Secrets We Hunt is mic drop delicious. What I didn't expect was for this to be emotional. Secrets We Hunt is Wes and Zoe’s story in the phenomenal One-Night series.
Wes and Zoe were childhood best friends, until their senior year of High school. Now, several years later, they are reunited in forced proximity. Zoe is the one who got away, and Wes wants answers and to move up to the next level of their relationship.
When I say I am amazed at how the author proceeds each book, she does. Every single time. Wes is one dirty bird and Zoe is his match. My favorite kind of dirty too and I was flying my freak fly high, with this one. The spicy scenes are extremely hot and steamy; I think my kindle was smoking.
“Good girl,” I praise her once she calms down. I pull out of her and crawl up her body, holding my fingers up to her mouth. “Taste how good we are together.”

On top of spice, there is an astounding plot. Much more on the emotional side. When the secrets started to come to the surface, I saw red and rage.
My only complaint is that I wanted more. It was nice to read about Jack, Quinlan, and the rest of the crew. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I'm gonna say this was just... silly.
It was ridiculous really. The writing style and description were awful, the characters were stupid and the plot absurd
But Ainhoa, it's a smut novella, I hear you say... Well yes, it is, but this was too much for its genre my friends, RUN!
It's a shame, with the first one of the series I was interested, I wasn't fan of the kinky stuff but still, the group of friends did me in and I was excited when this was released.
I will just say: Save your time and money, run the other way and don't look back. It's not worth it, save yourselves and be safe out there.

I absolutely love the characters in the One Night world. The books are short and oh-so steamy that I devoured this in one sitting. Yes, it’s just a novella. But if you know me, I’m an insanely slow reader now matter how much I love a book!! Not to worry, Dana has expertly nailed the balance between adequate depth and smexy times in a short story!! And dirty talk. Her Hs are fluent in filth. 🔥

ITS FINALLY TIME TO REAS WES BOOK!!!! and I loved it he didn't beat my boy Jack but
He was close!!!
Wes meets a ghost from his past and wonders why she up and left him behind and he wants answers and he'll get them. The tension between the two was super tight and these two didn't miss a beat!! The grinding the teasing our man Wes did edge Zoe once or twice lol 😆 but lord did she get him back in a SCENE THAT HAD ME GO HOLY MOLY!! it was hot.. beside them reconnecting there was some secerts.. and once Wes found out I knew he would take revenge and it was bloody.

Nu știu de ce mereu cad în capcana tik tokului și citesc toate porcăriile pământului.
Nu știu de ce aleg voit să citesc cărți cu mai puțin de 100 de pagini când ȘTIU cât de prost construite sunt.
Mie nu mi se potrivesc deloc cărțile acestea în care la început e ditamai problema între ei, dar e rezolvată în 3 vorbe și restul doar sex. Bine, cred că partea de sex e de fapt motivul cărții, dar mie nu îmi place așa țaca paca 3 pagini de vorbe și mamă ce ditamai atracția e, gata, ne iubim până la nesfârșit.=)))))))))

what a mess. they're seeing each other for the first time in eight years and they instantly fuck, and she’s all mad and annoyed at him but as soon as he teases her, she begs him to make her come. make that make sense. the ending was. i can’t. i have no words. the nickname just made me laugh, zo-zo. i know this is supposed to be a short novella but still, it could have improved on so much stuff. she talks about her getting raped by his uncle but then a second later, begs wes to fuck her-

Figuring out why these characters knew Arabic is still out of my mind, I couldn’t figure out for the love of everything why then you are awake and what is the relation with the story and all, since ever since they were neighbors they were in non-Arab country, so….
Beside that I think I loved the characters and how they grouped all together, Since it has been a while since the last book and this book I almost forget who Jake and quill an hour but I have to revisiting my Goodreads I kind of got a hold of what I missed off, kind of would still be a struggle to allocate if we have yet met anyone from the last book or not like Greg and Owen etc… Lots of arranged marriage vibes coming for the very next book, which I am totally here for!!!

Omg I love that this took place during the wedding of book 1’s couple! It really made my day!!
Wes and Zoë were childhood besties until she up and disappeared during his high school Grad party 8 years ago. They’ve been harbouring a flame ever since then and Wes is determined not to let her go a second time.
Friends to lovers is always 50/50 but I def prefer when it is second chance like in this case! I didn’t love this like I did with GAMES WE PLAY, hence the 4 star rating but MY OH MY the steam game was on POINT. I loved the scene where Zoë took control, A+ for that scene for sure Ms Isaly. Dana is easily a fave author of mine and knows how to pack a punch with few words. I also think it’s cool the books are from the guy’s POV!

GODDAMIT I NEED OWEN’S BOOK ASAP. DANA HOW COULD YOU TEASE ME LIKE THAT. IMMA FLING MYSELF UNDER MY BED AND NOT COME OUT TILL IT IS PUBLISHED!

Mezclan childhood crushes con reencuentro y eso para mí es *cheff’s kiss*. Me encantan ambos clichés.
Lean las advertencias que tiene este libro porque toca cierto tema que es fuerte.
Me dio mucha pena leer lo que le pasó a la protagonista porque lamentablemente es algo que les pasa a muchas/os mujeres, hombres, entre otros. Ojalá no pasara, pero hay muchas personas malas en el mundo.
Quedé muy ansiosa por leer el tercer libro, te muestran pistas de lo que será y eso me tiene muy emocionada.
¿Lo recomiendo? Si, sin duda.
