My memory loss is so bad I can’t remember half the stuff I’ve done. So how am I supposed to make one relationship work—let alone three?

I'm Venus and I've got amnesia. Or at least I think I do.

My memory's filled with black holes. Why can’t I remember my childhood or the parents who raised me? How did I end up in this random small town, and why can’t I remember what happened five minutes ago?

I somehow end up on a road trip with Neptune, a girl who I barely even know. She ditches me in a small town called Silver Springs with no money, no phone, and no way to get home. So I need to find her. Stat.

What I find instead is a wart on the tip of my nose. How did that get there?

It’s no wonder the three Hotter than the Sun men I meet don’t seem to realize I exist.

★ Ernest, who owns an anti-romance bookstore, is more interested in reading.

★ Stefano, the doctor who claims he’s in the mafia, says he doesn’t date patients. News flash: this wart isn’t going to fix itself.

★ And Chett, the famous guitarist for Not a Vampire, has a son who seems to hate me.

The planets must be misaligned—or I might be cursed—because the gaps in my memory are growing. I'm falling for Ernest, Stefano, and Chett, but how can we have a happy ever after when I can barely remember who they are?

Venus is a standalone in the Solar Mates Series set in the Silver Springs shared universe and comes complete with a happily-ever-after. Scroll up to read this fun, quirky romance today.

I liked this one. The memory loss was interesting and it was cool the way it was done. I've lost track of the other characters floating around. The guys were sweet, although Chett's power had to be cheating. Strong support from Amber and her guys. Definitely liked it more than Saturn's story. Looking forward to the next one and Neptune's story.

When two of my favorite Silver Springs authors combine forces, my expectations reach epic proportions. I'm not even joking. I love Mia Harlan's books because they always have more plot than just the falling in love part while also including the cute and nice guys and I love Hanleigh Bradley's books because she always comes up with the greatest supernatural powers and she has a real talent for writing adorable and realistic kids. I was therefore quite happy when I managed to get an arc for this book!

This book is everything I had hoped it would be and maybe even a little more. The plot of the book was amazing and so incredibly well done. Venus' Amnesia was written in a very realistic and most of all vivid way. I could literally feel the frustrations of both herself and all the characters around her. Of course, it was quite easy to figure out what would be the matter, but watching everything unfold was quite entertaining.

Just like I really enjoyed the characters in this story. Firstly we have a lovely heroine. Despite her strange memory loss, we get quite a good idea of Venus' personality. Therefore it didn't take long before I really started rooting for her. She's kind, she puts the happiness and well being of others before her own and she most of all has learned to deal with her strange memory losses at the most random moments, even though it often leads to problems.

Luckily she finds three amazing guys who want to do everything they can to make her love them. I loved how all three guys were clearly different, bringing something unique into this relationship, and I loved how they each had their own powers. I also really loved the 8-year old boy in this story! He was written in a realistic way and he brought a sense of humor. To make it even better we had loads of cameos from the other girls and from all the familiar faces from the previous seasons!

Here we have Mia and Hanliegh teaming up to bring you Venus. Get ready for some laughs. So we have Venus who for some reason is losing her memory. Why? That is the mystery. As you read this book, you will be thinking what in the world is going on. Then you start to notice a pattern and wonder if maybe she needs to leave the town of Silver Springs. But before you think that though she gets herself a cup of coffee and can you guess what happens. Yep it was that SPL she had and it seems as though she meets her mates. Now how is this going to work when she meets Ernest, Chett and Stefano. Will she be able to remember them? She does have a little bit of memory and knows that she needs to find her friend. Her guys are trying to help her get her memories back. Things that happen through out the book are funny and sad. There is even a heartbreaking moment. Right when we think that she will never get her memories back a miracle happens. Now the most important question is: Will she remember her mates? Check out Venus to find out.

Venus is a great book! From the very first chapter I was hooked. She has the memory of a gnat! After a bit, it's pretty obvious there's more going on with Venus's memory other than your occasional forgetfulness. She gets into all kinds of awkward situations due to her memory, which is VERY troubling for her recently found mates. (On a personal note, I work for seniors with dementia and Mia & Hanleigh's ability to capture the struggle of memory loss is spot on! The multiple POVs when dealing with memory loss rang true and pulls at the heart strings of anyone who has had personal experience with dementia. I wish I could give you more than 5 stars Mia & Hanleigh.)

Venus has been struggling with amnesia for as long as she can remember. It especially happens when supernatural occurrences happen. When she is left in the supe town of Silver Springs, it happens almost every minute. She meets her 3 mates, who are in fact, supes (a Djinn, a wolf shifter, and a book shifter).

I felt so bad for Venus this whole story. I can't even imagine being left behind by a friend, with amnesia, in a place that triggers these episodes. But, she did meet a few new friends and mates along the way. Venus is such a perfect addition to the Silver Springs. This was definitely unique, never been done before, fun, rollercoaster ride, that I really enjoyed!

Oh goodness, this book was so awesome!!! Venus memory problems are really huge and when you throw in three fated mates and a little boy, we'll then you get one helluva story. It's quirky, funny, hot and wildly entertaining.

I can't wait to read Neputune's story. I highly recommend that you check out the Silver Springs universe.

Venus has problems with her memory, especially when supernatural things happen in front of her eyes. Her friend Neptune takes her to Silver Springs for the Not a Vampire concert, and in the town Venus meets her three mates, a werewolf mafia doctor, a paperback shifter and a Djinn. They try to help Venus regain her memories, but they end up worsening the situation.

I really liked how the relationship developed among Venus and her mates, even with Jet, one of her mates' son. However, I thought that not enough information was given about what happened to Venus and why she was like that.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Venus has amnesia, or so she thinks, and can’t remember anything. When she gets dumped by her friend in Silver Springs, she sets out to try and find her. What she finds are three men fated to be her mates, but if she can’t remember anything how will she ever remember her mates?

Venus is a quirky romance. It’s mysterious, humorous, steamy, and one wild ride.

This is a short but fun, fast paced read and a great addition to this universe. It’s full of mystery, humour and magical chaos, there’s some steam some heat and a whole lotta quirkiness. It’s a great story and I just loved the characters.

As with all Silver Springs books, this one is hilarious and has some interesting twists and turns. Venus has been cursed so that her memory is horrible. I love all of the Silver Springs books and Venus has definitely claimed a spot among my favorites. I love that she wants her memory to improve, but can't until a particular set of things happens. I can't wait to see what these authors come up with next.

The first of the Solar Mates series is exactly the type of quirky story I've come to expect from both these authors. A heroine with amnesia and maybe a stalker. A book shop owner that hates romance books, a mafia doctor, and a hot guitarist with his moody son in tow.
Everyone is descending on Silver Springs for the Not A Vampire concert, which brings new faces and magic to the town.
I really felt for Venus with her total confusion at what was happening, and I loved the eventual resolution - although I'd also love more background on her - maybe in Neptune?

I've read Venus in one sitting: funny, heart-warming, sweet and spicy, it was a great read from start to finish! Writing abou a fmc who forgets everything every 5 seconds (is not that bad, really, but it IS bad) is no easy task, but the authors did it greatly! I loved Chett, Ernest and Stefano, but Ernest, the paperback shifter is my absolute favorite! and I loved Venus' and Jet's relationship <3
A great and funny read, can't wait to get my hands on Neptune's book!

Venus is having some serious memory issues. She remembers nothing of her childhood and she frequently forgets things that she was just told. It is bad enough to drive her friends nuts and really confuse strangers. The story starts with her riding in a car to Silver Springs with the woman she thinks of as her stalker, Neptune. Neptune reminds her repeatedly that they are going to the Not A Vampire concert in Silver Springs because their friend Saturn gave then tickets. Saturn is mated to three members of the band. Venus's memories frequently disappear after she hears or sees something supernatural so coming to Silver Springs is a very bad idea. When Neptune abandons her at Jewel's Cafe without money or a phone, Amber takes pity on her. Venus searches through town looking for Neptune and meets all kinds of people and usually forgets them right after. She does seem to attract the attention of three handsome men though.

Chett is a djinn and a newly discovered father to an 8 year old. He knows immediately that Venus is his mate and so does his son. His son is so upset about having a new mom that he curses Venus with a huge wart on her nose and won't unwish it. Venus also goes into a bookstore and meets Ernest a banyan shifter who turns into a paperback book when stressed. Ernest is terrifed of speaking to a woman under her seventies so he has never had any luck with women. When Venus goes to the doctor about the wart on her nose, she meets Stefano a wolf mafia shifter doctor. He also knows that venus is his mate but his professional ethics causes him to keep his distance while he treats her. Together the three men are doing their best to help Venus but her memory keeps getting worse. How can they be together if Venus keeps forgetting them?

“I’m in love with this world and all this stories and Venus wasn’t the exception. I was so intrigue by the plot, the whole losing the memory scares the h*ll out of me. Imagine not knowing who you are, where you are from and not remembering who you love, that’s scary! Anyway, this story was absolutely perfect. The plot was captivating, so easily to follow and to lost yourself in the pages. Venus lack of memory was funny and frustrating. A weird mix that had me rolling my eyes with the silly situations and gritting my teeth with the frustration lol. Silver Spring is a wonderful small town full of magic, supernaturals and love. I love seeing the mates, bonds in each story, it’s beautiful! Talking about beautiful and Venus’s mates. They were utterly perfect for her. Caring, protective, kind and madly in love with her. How perfect is that? Chett, the single dad rock-star. He was so sweet in his own way and let’s not talk about Jet, his son. Poor baby, I was mad at him for being like but understood why he was like that. He was lovely too. Then, Stefano, he was just to perfect too. Smart, hot and passionate. I just love him. Lastly, Ernest, sweet Lord. I couldn’t believe what I read lol. He utterly surprised me and had me falling in love so easily and fast. Man like him surely are rare species. He was so shy and sweet. I just wanted to hug him and talk dirty to him lol. You’ll se why, trust me! And lastly, shout out to Neptune! Friendship goals! I’m dying to read her story, can’t wait for it. Another incredible story of this magical town. You can expect, love, passion, magic and mates plus RH!! Perfection!"

Definitely a quirky, light, interesting story. Venus comes to Silver Springs with Neptune for a concert, but it quickly becomes something more. This is a relatively short, quick read, so the plot moves along pretty briskly. One of the things that isn’t spent much time on is the fact that the three men she encounters are her mates. One of the men is a Djinn, and he is able to physically see the mating links, so pretty early on, everyone is aware of the situation - except for Venus. Her pesky memory loss seems to be getting progressively worse, and as her mates start to figure out the triggers, they try to limit those triggers while looking for a way to help her. Meanwhile, Neptune has vanished, leaving Venus and her memory loss to fend for herself - with the help of the three men she has no idea are her mates. For the times she is lucid for and extended period of time, she connects with the men, and there is plenty of spice to go around. And they are all quite different, as well. The Baylan who shifts into a book whenever he gets nervous around women, the mob doctor turned family doctor, and the rock star djinn with a mischievous son (also a djinn). As I said, this is a very quirky, odd little book, so there are plenty of hijinks and strange goings on happening all over the place. And once they figure out what triggers Venus’ memory loss episodes, it’s interesting to see how they try to avoid those situations. But of course, they’re heading towards and HEA, so all works out in the end, but one HEA opens the door for a whole other story in another book to come. I sense another quirky, oddball, steamy RH on the horizon.

Venus, book one in the Solar Mates series, is written by author duo Hanleigh Bradley and Mia Harlan.

Poor Venus. She realizes she is missing memories from ger childhood, like, all of them, but as an adult? Her memory loss is getting increasingly harder to hide. Good thing she has amazing friend to help her out.

Saturn, her college roommate, has always been her buffer in the real world. But now she has a relationship that has her taking a year off of school, so she really only has Neptune for support. You know, that annoying girl who seems to have infiltrated her life? She always seem to be around her, but Venus doesn’t think they are truly friends.

After traveling together, she thinks, to the Not a Vampire Concert in Silver Springs, Venus becomes involved in a complicated situation that forces the trauma of her memory loss out into the opening.

A spin off series that continues to take place in several paranormal towns we have visited in their other series’, Venus is the newest one to for us to enjoy, from this cooperative group of authors.

fun story

I received an ARC from the authors and am leaving my review voluntarily. This is part of a multi-author paranormal series and brief character appearances are made but it isn't necessary to read the others first. (although it is nice getting their back stories too)

Triggers:
this is an RH storyline involving 1 woman being doted on by 3 men

Spoilers:
Welcome back to Silver Springs. The fun, sexy Paranormal town where anything goes.

Venus, arrives in town and meets 3 different men who she is attracted to. But poor Venus has no idea what's happening around her as she seems to be very forgetful. She is in a constant state of "what happened" and "who are you".

Ernest, Chett and Stefano, are all convinced Venus is their mate. Each man has special paranormal abilities and they work together to be with Venus.

Story ends abruptly even if it appears to be a HEA ( not sure if there is another book after.)

Being forgetful is a pain in the a$$.
Not only dor the person experiencing it, but the people around them as well.
But losing track of life and conversations while you're still having them, is a-whole-nother level of craptasticness.
Poor Venus can barely keep two thoughts together and her present situation has her finding herself losing me and more pieces.
The one person who can actually help her, she's not sure she can trust, I mean how far can you trust someone you barely know.
Throw in some hot guys in a strange town, instant attraction, fan-girling, wayward mishaps that don't make sense, with a little bit of magic and you've got a whirlwind situation that will either overwhelm or entice the soul

Venus is trying to adjust to the persistent loss of memory that she endures at the most inopportune moments. She starts out on a trip with her friend Neptune to Silver Springs to attend a concert, but it takes a turn and now her friend is gone, and she doesn’t recognize anyone in town.

Ernest is timid and shifts into something you wouldn’t believe when he gets nervous, Chett is a djinn musician and single father to his eight-year-old son Jet while Stefano is a doctor, shifter and has ties to the mafia and they are all her mates.

All three would be a lot to handle on their own but combine the three together especially when they are intent on claiming their mate you know you are in for a wild and wacky adventure.

Venus was a good read. It's part of the Solar Mates Series but can be read as a standalone. Venus is an interesting character. Her friend brings her to Silver Springs where they are going to attend a concert. Her friend leaves her for a bit. Venus frequently has memory loss. She gets into some fun trouble. She meets Ernest, Stefano, Chett. These three are also very interesting. They are all supernatural. Ernest shifts into a book when he gets nervous. Stefano is a supernatural doctor that's also in the mafia. Chett is a famous guitarist. These guys are cute. They are Venus' mates and they all work to help Venus. These four are great together. They had me hooked and I really wanted to know why Venus kept losing her memory.

I love this authors sense of humour, but this time she has teamed up with a new author to me Mia Harlan. Together they have wrote Venus and what a book it is.
Venus has a memory problem so it's sometimes difficult and somewhat frustrating for her and the people around, the only thing is She don't remember. She takes a road trip with Nepture to silver springs to see a band, but once there Nepture does a disappearing act leaving her alone. Lots of things happen along the way she comes into contact with not one but three of her mates. Again her memory let's her down until it doesn't. I absolutely loved the characters in this book. It's got good humour. Well worth a read.

Venus has problems with her memory, she doesn't even really know why she is on the trip to Silver Springs with Neptune. The story had a good mix of sweet, funny, and steamy moments. There were definitely rollercoaster moments adding to the plot, leaving you to wonder how Venus could possibly fix her memory issue. Her mates are amazing; they did not give up and tried everything they could possibly think of to help her. The biggest surprise was the ending wow, what a gesture. I highly recommend this book, it is definitely an interesting mystery.

I loved the story. It is funny and charming all in one. It has a bit of a mystery as we try to figure out what happened. Venus is sweet but the moments of her distress even though they are funny at times they also make you feel sorry for her. It is well written and developed. I love that it has Silver Springs and the crazy crew in it. The story had me hook from the first chapter as it has great moments that cause you to chuckle. Hanleigh Bradley and Mia Harlan together write so well together. The writing is seamless as it makes you feel like just one writer. It is most definitely worth reading and it doesn’t disappoint.

Venus ends up on a road trip with Neptune and as she doesnt particularly like her she's not even sure why, till Neptune reminds her they have VIP tickets to the Not A Vampire concert in Silver Springs. This is just one of the many things that Venus has forgotten, she can't even remember her childhood! What is causing this memory loss and how will she get a HEA when she keeps forgetting meeting the men who are her mates? This book is sometimes funny, sometimes sad but is an amazing co write between 2 amazing authors. Having read the silver springs books previously written by the authors individually I had fun guessing which author had written which part! An excellent read

I loved the Silver Springs/Spells books and Venus this new book in the Solar Mates series is just as good.

Venus' memory is slowly getting worse from her first appearance in her friends book Saturn. When Neptune (another friend) takes her to Silver Springs for a Not a Vampire concert things got from bad to worse for her but she does meet her mates and makes more friends in the process. I found Venus' book a little bit sadder than the others because you feel for her with how upsetting her memory loss is to her. There is also lots of laughs and steam so it was a great read. I'm looking forward to Neptune's book now

I felt so bad for Venus and her guys in this book. We got a bit of an introduction to Venus and her memory problems in Saturn but after heading to Silver Springs, they just seem to get so much worse. At first, her guys are just confused about why she is asking the same questions over and over but once they realise they want to do anything to help her.

We also got to see a few of the upcoming ladies in the series, which I'm really looking forwards to. Also Jet is adorable, well he is once he starts warming up to Venus. Another excellent edition to the whole world of Silver Springs, and I can't wait to read more.
