The town of Belhaven is under attack by a group who’ll stop at nothing…including murder, to prevent the town from winning the coveted Small Town USA award.
“If you like clean mysteries that keep you guessing until the end, you’ll love the Garden Girls!”
Garden Girls - The Golden Years is the brand new spin-off series of the Garden Girls Mystery series.
You’ll enjoy the same fun-loving characters as they solve mysteries in the cozy town of Belhaven. Each book will focus on one of the Garden Girls as they enter their “golden years.”
The Garden Girls are a SIX PACK of trouble creating constant mayhem in Michigan, especially now that Liz (Gloria’s sister) moved back to Belhaven. During this unusual year and since the Golden Years are often a SEASON of CHANGE, I understand Gloria’s need for a new endeavor. Never a dull moment throughout this mystery, especially in small towns struggling to survive. Small Town Saboteurs is a summer read with its relatable small town Michigan characters, senior sleuths, a twist and turn plot, red herrings, and a believable resolution. A page turning mystery that kept me guessing while laughing and reading through the night, especially when Liz visited Gloria’s new endeavor. Delicious Pineapple Carrot Cake recipe included.
Once again Hope Callaghan has written a story about the friendship and sisterhood between eight women in Bel haven, Michigan. The town is a finalist for the best small town award and Dot and Ray have decided to sell their restaurant and start a food truck to feed the homeless. When bad things start happening the girls have to work fast to find out why and who is behind the trouble and keep Dot and Ray from being forced out of their restaurant for low ball. I love these ladies and each of the characters in this book. I can't wait for the next book!!Thank you Hope for writing great Christian books!
As we prepare for this much loved series to end, Hope Callaghan has given each of her characters a send off befitting their roles in the series. This book, number four of five in the send off, was very well written and, though not as mysterious as some in the series have been, was a great walk down memory lane as we remember her some funny moments in these characters lives. I'm almost dreading reading book 5 as I know it will be the last of our Garden Girls. Best group of friends a reader could ever have in a favorite series. ❤
The small town of Belhaven is a finalist for a prestigious award. But, someone is causing mischief and mayhem in an attempt to prevent their winning. This is another delightful episode in a first-class series. The plot is twisty, the well-drawn characters seem like old friends and expert crafting keeps the pages turning. It was an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to the author’s future work. This book was a gift and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
Dot and Brian have worked very hard to put Belhaven into the running to be the next best town USA. But ir looks like someone is trying to sabotage their efforts! Can Gloria and the girls figure everything out before the final ruling? A very emotional time for the friends as one of their own is looking to embark on a new journey. What a wonderful read as always.
I absolutely LOVED this book. I have all of her books, and they just keep getting better. I was completely drawn in to the story and I have grown to love all the characters.
This just CAN'T be the last one! We need more. We want to see how the food truck gets going and what is Gloria going to do? Will Liz marry a farmer? Inquiring minds want to know - lol.
I enjoyed reading every page of this book. The plot is clever, the storyline suspenseful keeping the reader engrossed all the way. I highly recommend this to all mystery lovers who also love to see their protagonists show their hearts of gold towards all people.
Dot and Ray want to sell their restaurant. The May Day festival starts, during the parade someone sets off illegal fireworks causing horses to be spooked throwing riders. One of the riders was hurt badly, there's TV coverage of the it. Someone is trying to stop Belhaven from winning best small town contest.
I love these two series with the Garden Girls. They are a good mixture of characters you might kno uhw but a bit over the top. They are brave and relentless to pursue the truth while being cautioned constantly to stay out of the investigation. I can't get enough of them.
I love the new Golden Years series with the Garden Girls! I highly recommend any of Hope Callaghan's series!!! They're all great with characters you really get invested in!
I love the Garden Girls! This book gives us all the same twists and turns that we can expect from these beloved series. When someone is trying to sabotage Dot’s Diner, and the town of Belhaven, it’s all hands on deck to find out who’s behind it!
I love all the characters in this wonderful series by Hope Callaghan and if you love cozies with characters you will love and a story that will keep you turning the page then this is a must read.
This is a great addition to the Garden girls series. I have enjoyed every book and I've read all of them. I love how the garden girls are planning to live out their Golden years!
This was a great read about community and helping out one another! Moving on, retirement and new endeavors. The girls do a great job finding out what happened to the food truck and the young woman that was killed
This was another great book. The story has a lot of mysteries and the ladies trying to solve who is doing all the mischief. I enjoyed how they keep doing all kinds of investigating to figure how these people keep doing the destruction.
Gloria and the girls investigate sabotage and the murder of a young woman. The clues point at one of their own and they are determined to find out what's happening.
Another brilliant mystery for Gloria and the gang as they investigate the mysterious attempts at sabotage as the town tries to do the small town USA competition.
This series is so much fun to read. It's clean and wholesome, the characters are very unconventional and full of life and adventure. Already started next book in the series.
