Dr. Qing Li demonstreaza in aceasta carte ca shinrin-yoku reduce stresul, anxietatea si depresia, imbunatateste calitatea somnului, creste energia, creativitatea si concentrarea, intareste sistemul imunitar, amelioreaza sanatatea cardiovasculara si metabolica, si produce efecte calmante in plan psihologic.
Forest Bathing: How Trees Help You Find Health and Happiness. I couldn't find the English version I read on Goodreads which is a shame because this was such a fantastic book. It is written by the chairman of the Japanese Society of Forest Medicine and discusses the concept of forest bathing and Shinrin Yoku. I loved this one because it gives all of the scientific data for something that every human knows instinctively. You just feel better in nature. It is so true, whenever I am stressed I like to take a walk in the woods and I instantly feel calmer and more relaxed. Now, thanks to this book I want to travel around the world and visit all of the beautiful forests, especially the ones in Japan. Loved it! Yay trees!
