Dr. Devon Brooks has escaped a marriage to a man who's heartless enough to blame her for her miscarriage, when she's confronted by an acquaintance who cons her into a fake engagement to appease his father so he can inherit the family business. Meanwhile her ex decides he wants her back. What can be worse? Too much, if you know Dee Stewart! When she has to deal with her fake father-in-law, her fake future brother-in-law and criminals along with the ex that won't leave, it's enough to make you want to write off the whole male sex. Complicate it with falling for the brother and you have a recipe for Waiting For Devon. An amazing book with the Dee Stewart touch you won't want to miss.

But right when she's on the Way to feeling better, her Ex comes around and wants her back and an aquaintance thinks she might be the perfect fake-fiancee... add in the mix a fake-Father-in-Law, a fake-Brother-in-Law, some Criminals- and she has to wrangle more men-folk than she ever wanted...

The book is about Dr. Davon who is dealing with the heartbreak of a divorce and a miscarage. She unexpectedly gets whisked away into a fake engagement with Shane Barrington.
That's when she meets Reed, Shane's brother, who is skeptical about their relationship. Through time Reed and Devon get closer, and she doesn't know if she can keep up with the lies.
I loved the story, but I am not a big of Reed. Jackson is my pick. I love his growth and how he was with Devon when Reed abandoned her when she needed him the most.

Devon gets involved with a friend to be his fake fiancée, who is Reeds brother (Shane) who wants to be come the CEO of Barrington Industries.
This goes on for a few months .Then an incident happens to Devon that sets the stage.
You will have to read the book to see what happens, you wont be
disappointed.
Great book, actioned packed, twists, turns and lots of emotions.

Great story with a twisted plot. Devon and Reed find each other thru a fake engagement, but not to each other. Intrigue and great character development. This is a prequel to another of Dee Stewart’s books, but is great as a stand-alone.

Dee Stewart has another winner! Great story and Devin and Reed’s chemistry is off the charts. Plus there are horses, so I loved that. Great book!
