Cole Denton is an ocean lover who finds joy in almost all physical activities. He is especially passionate about baseball and surfing, indulging in them every chance he gets.
His other passion is writing. It began at a young age and followed him through to his time at a university in SoCal where he majored in screenwriting.
After moving to Sin City, Cole has put his knowledge and talent as a writer to work by pursuing a career as a dark fiction author. Cole is enjoying testing his kinky side, in pursuit of all things pleasurable.
I love this, it’s great getting the male point of view and that’s exactly what this is. Cole Denton has given us insight on what Morgan “Hawk” Hawkins. What he thinks, how he feels, and who he feels it for and it’s so good!
Morgan is everything you want in a man and Maggie is beyond excited to have him acknowledge her and want to be her mentor.
Go grab this second book in this Desire Trilogy, you won’t regret it, trust me!
She was at Friction looking for something, but I didn’t think she had a clue as to what.
By day, Morgan Hawkins is a photography teacher…but by night “Hawk” is a Top Dom and protector member of the club known as Friction. Morgan has been in this world for a number of years, with lots of experience that he shares with keeping everything safe and pleasurable for everyone involved, “Hawk” is one male many lust after.
Other than guiding and monitoring the new members, Morgan's interest is peaked when a female steps in the club and there is something that strikes him that he has seen her before.
They gravitate towards each other, Morgan can see how Maggie holds herself back even when she wants to embrace her new world and with her unknown knowledge of fully understanding everything, Morgan makes her an offer to help mentor her.
There’s a sparkle within Maggie that captivates Morgan, the rules that he set himself are becoming harder to maintain when it comes to Maggie and finding there could be more to this woman then he cares to admit to him.
The want and the need for Maggie is growing…but will Morgan ever claim her to be his?
I just needed to make sure my heart was on the same page and didn’t derail my plans.
Wow…it’s very intense being inside Morgan head! But oh, such an amazing place to be for all these delightful chapters!
I loved that we had a flip in the story, going back to some previous chapters but now having Morgan’s POV was an eye opener and a clever combination to have within the series. The story continues, moving forward with each element that happens as Maggie continues her journey. Now with Morgan mentoring her through the process, challenges and has Maggie questioning what she really wants.
I was very surprised by Cole Denton writing, this was possibly my first read by a male writer and for the book gen of BDSM too this was a well written story. I loved that this was done and it drew me into finding out more of Cole's books!
My heart was running toward a woman that I wanted nothing to do with, yet wanted to be everything she was searching for.
This is the first book series I've read thats written like this... the first book by one author (Becs) the second by Denton and I am 100% here for it! I love that this book not only is coming from the male character but is written from a male authors perspective! I really can't stop gushing over this series.
Also can we talk about the turnaround time! I just finished Desire a few weeks ago, finished Want today and Masterpiece comes out in 3 days! These two definitely understand how to spoil their readers!
Okay.. to the story.. we get pretty much the original timeline from Desire with some additional goodies all from Morgan POV. I love getting the "other" characters take on the relationship, how they see things going, the behind the scene takes we didn't get in Desire from Maggie.
Morgan aka Hawk aka Sir aka Daddy 😏 is a great character. He's complex.. even more than we originally thought. He's committed to his strict safety procedures, he's loyal to his family and friends..he even has a touch of matchmaker in his genes.
If you haven't read Desire from Becs can you read Want and be fine... probably..should you.. absolutely not. You really need to get the whole experience these two have laid out for you.
Want by Cole Denton, Book 2 in the Desire Trilogy, gives the reader a look inside the heart and mind Morgan, the top Top at the Friction kink club and the man Margaret longs to be with. Morgan is a disciplined man who follows his own set of rules about playing with people new to the lifestyle, yet a past tragedy has him keeping a watchful eye on Margaret at the club, intervening when careless, selfish Tops approach her. With each interaction, he becomes more protective of her, bending his rules to mentor her as she explores what she wants and needs and realizes she might be exactly what he wants too. I absolutely love the slow burn of this trilogy as the characters get to know each other over time. Their connection grows naturally as their compatibility is revealed which feels more true to life and has me completely in love with these characters. I can’t wait to read the final book Masterpiece. Oh, and FYI? Morgan is mine!
What a fantastic 2nd book in this trilogy. Cole smoothly picks up this trilogy with the 2nd part from Morgan’s POV. Cole is an outstanding story teller and makes has a way to emotionally connect you to the characters even further. You also get a peak and start attachment to characters in another series, can’t wait to read Hollis’s story. I am enjoying going along with Mags sexual journey and awakening and her relationship with Morgan. I throughly enjoyed this journey through the eyes of Morgan and his feelings awakening. I love being attached to the characters and feeling like I am living in their world for a brief period of time. I was happily immersed into this story.
This story - Wow! Cole Denton at his finest with this continuation of the Desire Trilogy, Want. Flawless transition. I loved getting more backstory on Morgan. I greedily devoured this book. Maggie and Morgan's story is a real treat. They compliment each other. Their romance is delicious, light and easy, scorchingly hot and so undeniably beautiful. I lost myself to these characters. I know, I probably say this after every book from him, but it's true... Cole Denton never disappoints with his stories. He's a phenomenal storyteller.
Cole Denton is a ‘one click author’ for a reason. His writing draws me in every time. While Want is a little lighter than his usual darker books, it’s just as enjoyable and proves once again that Denton can not be pigeon-holed, his writing talent continues to shine. The way that he brings his characters to life on the page is always a joy to behold. Morgan is a fantastic character and I look forward to seeing more of him in Cole Denton’s upcoming Takedown Series.
Book two is from Morgan's perspective. I honestly love this trilogy written by two different authors. Morgan's version is a refreshing take on the other point of view in a growing relationship between Margaret and Morgan. I cannot wait to read how these authors wrap it up.
Cole Denton does it again! Book 2 is told from Morgan's POV and gives you insight to his feelings and inner thoughts as well as his life outside of the club. It flows seamlessly with book 1 and also has cameos of characters from other series (both new and old). I cannot wait to see how book 3 pulls it all together! Highly recommend.
This is the second book in this trilogy and should not be read before the first. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Morgan’s point of view and can’t wait to see what happens in the last book.
Another wonderful book by Cole Denton. I loved the dynamic between Morgan and Maggie. Morgan tries to fight his desire! You’ll have to read the book and find out if he does. I highly recommend this book.
This book is in Hawk's POV and it's interesting to get in his head. He is a good guy and you even get to meet his brothers in this one who also seem like good guys. This series really educates you on the kink community and of course it has 🔥.
Cole does again this book is awesome, I love his pov of Morgan he did such an amazing job bringing this character to life. Cole just knows how to make you feel everything he writes. I hope you have read Desire first and then read this book. I completely recommend both.
Another amazing story by Cole Denton. Morgan tries to tell himself he doesn’t have feelings for Maggie. Will that work for him or is Maggie already in his heart.
