This range of theatre specific aircrew survival manuals follow on from the original book ‘HEMS Helicopter Essentials’, a survival manual that is totally different and hopefully like no other.In an ideal world, if you follow the first half of that manual, you should not need the second part.The aim of these smaller manuals is to alleviate the all too common ‘generic survival skills’ that are found in many textbooks.Each area of the planet is wonderful, but vastly different.
