Mixed feelings about the book. The title is misleading. The book has random quotes from Veterans and keeps talking about a study they had with nothing more. The premise of the book are good, but the title needs reworking. I expect better from Oliver North.

PEOPLE HAVE MORE POWER THAN THEY ACCEPT
Outstandimg justification to wake Americans up to what is happening behind the scenes in politics today. No man or woman ever in the service ever thought their leaders would betray them like this! No civilian American ever really believed that we would EVER leave American civilians behind in danger as they watched on TV the military leaving! I felt betrayed before reading this book and my state of mind is more convinced that we need to get the Convention of States working. This government has completely lost touch with the fact that WE THE PEOPLE are the ones paying their salary. WE THE PEOPLE have given too much of our power away and it is time we start demanding accountability from our elected officials AND those not elected! Too many stupid decisions made by political appointees who know very little about the things they consider themselves to be an expert! They have proven that the Peter Principal of elevating people over their abilities is very active in our government. It is inconceivable that a military general spends valuable time and resources to retrain our military to Woke beliefs and does not help sufficiently in getting Americans out of Afghanistan LONG BEFORE the end date when the troops were withdrawn. The American people have the right to demand accountability from the military heads as well as political heads. A LOT OF HEADS SHOULD LOSE THEIR JOBS FOR INADEQUATE PERFORMANCE! In my humble opinion, not putting propef focus into all possible outcomes good and bad was as bad as if a private walked away from guard duty while in enemy territory. Court Marshall is not sufficient. Elected officials should be impeached. If Congress doesn't have the brains to impeach President Biden, VP Harris and Speaker of the House Pelosi , then they all will find out the power of the vote! Speaker of the House was more interested in passing a law for the federal government to take away States Rights instead of being active to find ways to get Americans out of Afghanistan! Despicable behavior by a LOT of people! I LOVE AMERICA AND EXPECT BETTER!
I HIGHLY recommend this book for every American who expects better from all portions of our government and military!

The book contains so many things that are simply wrong or out of context. It provides little sources for its claims and leaves no room for nuance.
