I thoroughly enjoyed the banter in this book, as usually Draco and Hermiones banter was on par but at this point if they say hi to each other I’ll swoon because I’m just that obsessed, I think for me the plot of this book fell a bit flat and the ending seemed rushed to me and it just didn’t work out entirely, I would still definitely recommend this book purely because Draco and Hermiones romance was stunning…
Rating for “Virulence”…..The first 80% was fantastic, interesting, suspenseful, swoon worthy….and then the last bit felt rushed and not enough detail and time was put in it so the end fell flat. Felt like the author gave up a little. The first 80% was just so fantastic tho so it earns 4 stars still
Review is for Virulence since it’s not on here yet! Dramoine fanfic never disappoints and this one was another good one. It wasn’t as dark as the others I’ve read so far but it was still written well and had an ending that made me smile. For once I didn’t hate Ron, which was a surprise! Overall this was a 4/5 for me. I think there could have been a bit more to the plot, especially with the Ministry and investigating of the virus. Quick read as far as page length and was refreshing to have new characters rather than continuing to use characters from the OG series.
I didn’t read this, I actually read Virulence from the same author. It was alright. Not my fav. I also really disliked the ending and it didn’t really make sense soooo. The fact that they threw their BC in the lake and then popped like fireworks… cringe. The fact that Harry and the rest didn’t show up in time to help Draco and Hermione fight.. woulda never happened in actual Harry Potter. Also the fact that Draco used Hermione’s power but lost his????? Just no.
