Water, shelter, food, and protection. And one other thing...When our transport crash-lands on a hostile world full of monsters and death, it's up to me, the only man on the planet, to use my strength and wits to keep the women alive. With danger lurking around every bend and the world itself against us, what am I supposed to do with five very different, but very beautiful women?Gain their trust. Keep them alive.Fight off the monsters. And take advantage of whatever private moments the girls and I can find. After all, we could die at any time.
I got about halfway and nothing really happened. MC crash lands on a world with 5 women with no real hope for survival. He was a prisoner on the ship but they need him. I doesn't mention why he was a prisoner for a while. There is no hope of rescue. The first half of the book is just trying to find food, shelter and water. There is some hanky panky because it is a harem book but it happened sort of quick. (they hadn't even found food and water yet). I couldn't go another half of a book just to see if they find food and water. They would still be stuck on a harsh planet with no hope of rescue. I guess the author could throw some curveballs in there to get them rescued or have something interesting happen story wise but that would be reaching.
This is a well thought out story. The main character and cast are well thought out and the story timeline and character development is great. There is everything from fighting monsters to sex scenes but not to the extreme that you get the feel that the author dose not use it for fillers or adolescent fantasies. The main character is making intelligent decions on how to survive. NOW WE JUST WAIT FOR NEXT BOOK! very impatiently I might add....
I'm happy to say this book was a surprise, I really enjoyed it, cool plot, fast moving, good dialogue, characters were interesting! I can't say enough, I really liked it! It was so refreshing to read a book where the storyline and plot, with the main characters, all had logical understandable reasoning! First time reading this author, I really look forward to reading more of his work.
This book has as believable a premise as any science fiction adventure. Despite one man being marooned with 5 gorgeous women (who'd read a book about being marooned with 5 ugly chicks), there is plot, action, conflict and a resolution-- but a resolution that promises more adventures in the future.
I really enjoyed the gritty feel of this survival story. The women had unique personalities and had the right balance between just laying down and spreading their legs for him vs the drawn-out "will they, won't they" teases some other books like to play with. I'm looking forward to future installments in this series and how they manage to survive and thrive on their new planet.
This book was a pleasant surprise! It is a harem fantasy but it’s not smutty. I love the smutty, but it was cool to just have the imagination to work with. The fun thing about this was the descriptions of the characters and how they felt “real”. Loved it!
This was...okay. There was nothing particularly bad about this story but there is also not much to rave about either. The sex scenes were good. Very hot and heavy and the author did a good job of making each woman a distinctive lover as much a character. The main character is written well also, his backstory is creative and he definitely shows his chops as a leader early on. Typical for Harem main characters. The biggest problem Bookworm had was the setting...it felt too relentless. The story barely had time to breath between all of the danger and the sex. In the end..the narrative felt written into a corner. Barring a deus ex machina event in later volumes, the characters in this book have little chance of surviving. Hopefully, later volumes will improve this.
A very enjoyable read overall. Characters were well developed, especially the female survivors, who are quite different from one another and unique to say the least. The pace and action was generally great, although some descriptions went on a bit too long. A few typos and some incorrect word usage in places which was a shame as this is very well written overall. Different scenes were nicely developed and easy to visualize. Despite my quibbles here, I'm looking forward to reading the next book!
It was pretty good. It's a very simple survival story with no larger plot in the mix. Get stranded. Learn to survive. It's not really a harem story. The MC just hooks up with all the girls he's stranded with at different times. Nothing happens on a grand scale so I understand people's reviews that state nothing ever happens. But small challenges are constantly faced and overcome so it's enjoyable. One other thing. It's extremely short. Almost qualifying for as a short story.
Pure comedy. Strong capable women jump some male strangers bones before finding food water and shelter. Ha! Said stranger cannot be bothered to refer to female characters by anything but their physical attributes in his inner monologue (even after boning them). I actually laughed out loud at how the author portrayed the female characters. It was a free read. I’m off to the second book for more giggles and eye rolling.

The story, what there was, was good. Just them crashing and traveling through a dangerous world. The book was extremely short for my taste. Short stories are ok, but only when the story has substance. Which is not the case here. Book was OK, but was quite lacking.
Different harem take on crashes on another planet. The hero is augmented, the five women all have different issues and abilities. Inhospitable planet, trying to kill them every few pages. The story ends in an abandoned village that might be their Salvation. Interesting cliffhanger.
Nice new story from Jack Porter! World building was awesome. I could visualize each description of the planet the survivors were on. MC is strong but not over powered. The female survivors are varied and unique. Hopefully there is another book to have those unanswered questions answered! 5 Stars!
So highlights...ships crashes on alien planet. Everything what's to kill you. One guys and 5 women make it out of a crashed ship, most don't know each other and are forced to work together if they want to make it out alive.
Other stuff happens so not spoiling the whole thing, just read it lol
I enjoyed this book very much. The pace was good, adventure action combined with well developed characters. The adult nature devices the story and makes sense within the story line. I'm looking forward to the next book and will check out his other works. Give this book a go!
Fantasy sci-fi harem adult situations Told from first person, the MC is Adam Mayfield, former employee of the mysterious Company. A prisoner, his guards dead, he meets five women. Surprisingly engaging and this book is obviously setting up for sequels as the six survivors set about learning about their probably unique tidally-locked world. Already have book 2. Borders on space opera, but it's fun nonetheless. Pacing is quick and engaging. Recommended.
Very tight story with plenty of room for the future. I am very curious to see where things go. It could go off the rails, but book one is left of in a good place. Easy recommend.
This is a great and easy read that I hope the author is able to continue. I really like the fact that the women don’t just fall in love or immediate lust with the MC. Looking forward to more of this series if it’s profitable for the author.
I can see this becoming a great series, so leave reviews folks!!!! World building as always is first rate!!! Enjoyable characters, nice adult fantasy and cool adventures !!!
Different from other harem books. Main protagonist is not a wimpy guy who miraculously transforms into a raging stud. Story is very realistic and the personalities remind me of people I know. I look forward to more in the series.
The writing is fine, nothing obviously wrong there. Unfortunately the story and it’s characters are pretty boring. This isn’t helped by the price of the book, which is pretty steep for what is basically a novella
So far these people have found everything needed for survival except a ready supply of food. The characters are very well described both in their builds and temperaments.
This book started out unclear and slightly confusing, but then it took off and the story became fun. It was entirely too short for my personal preference. It seem that all of the harem books are just too short, but this story captivated me for a day. I was able to enjoy another Jack Porter book.
I like the MC . His actions truly line up with a survivalist. The beautiful women take the story up two notches. I love women, and beautiful capable women are rare.
This book has a very different approach to space opera with little tech events and more very human issues and descriptions of solutions that are practical and believe able
Fiber mesh under the skin and long distance eyesight, that would be nice. For someone with a bad back the enhanced strength and bone density would be a lifesaver. I hope he enjoys his new found life
Well what a interesting concept. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more. The thought of a new world canary was very unique. I highly recommend this book.
I enjoyed the exploration premise and some of the open ended opportunities to additional background details in future books. This was a good read for me.
