This is the 5th installment in the Guardians of Mayhem, Santa Fe chapter series; this is Rip's story.
Rip goes to the animal shelter to find himself a companion; that's when he meets Peta;the attraction is instant ! Both of them have led a very hard life, and still have some emotional scars to remind them of it. They bond over Rogue, Rip's new furry friend, and their friendship slowly develops into a beaufitul love story. You have a bit of everything in this great book; chemistry, love, old ennemies, secrets, drama and a good plotline. It's a book I very much appreciated and recommend; it's best to read the first 4 books of the series to get a better understanding ; the Edgewood chapter series is also recommended ;)
I received an ARC from the author and leaving an honest review.
Rip spent 10 years in prison because he believed his partner was going to look out for him. But he didn’t! Rip has been out for a little while and trying to get his life on track so now he’s the enforcer for the guardians of the Santa Fe charter. But he need something more in his life so he’s going to get a dog. That’s where he runs into Peta she works at the shelter after matching Rip with a dog Peta fines she is attached to Rip. Soon they are talking and seeing each other but Peta is having nightmares when she was little her family’s house was robbed soon she pieces it together it was Rip and his partner that did the robbery. And this just makes Peta see red. So enjoy this good read and see what she does and how it works out for them!!
The 5th book in the GOM MC: Santa Fe is an excellent addition to the series. Rip and Peta both have sad, emotional histories. They meet when he goes to the animal shelter, where she works, to adopt a dog. Instant attraction!! They do have a rather rocky relationship and there’s betrayal on her part. Frankly, I was a bit disappointed that he was so forgiving. This is a very entertaining series and I’m enjoying reading. *I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and this is my honest review*
I love this series, it just keeps getting better with each new book. The chemistry between Rip and Peta, is off the charts and cute as in high school. They should have nothing in common , but find out that their pasts are connected and wont leave them alone. When Peta, finds out about Rips past, which is intertwined with hers, she loses it and sets in motion a showdown between the Guardians and their rival club. They admit they love each other, after getting out of the showdown, they then set out for Peta, to start healing the trouble she caused the club and Rip.
Rip is dealing with skeletons in his closet. He needs a roommate so he goes to the shelter and finds the perfect dog to match him. Peta loves this dog, Rogue.
Rip is attracted to her and they start seeing each other. He reveals some of his past but leaves out key elements.
The nightmares start for Peta and she can't figure out why since so much time has passed. Then she asks questions and figures it out. Not thinking clearly, she goes into the Devils den and negotiates terms.
It's too late to turn back and she realizes her mistake. Will love heal these wounds.
This is the fifth book in the Guardian's of Mayhem Santa fe series and so far I'm enjoying each book. The characters are relatable, though they both have their scars, they are good together, the chemistry is great and Rogue is a wonderful character too. Well written. I received an ARC for my voluntary honest opinion

I enjoyed meeting Rip and Peta. Rip has been through a lot and has done a lot but has paid for it. Everything seems like its going down a sweet and charming road but then the past comes and for some reason Peta turns into someone she was not portrayed in the beginning. She just jumped to conclusions. I did not like that for some reason.
Loved Rip. reminded me of some guys I have knows through my life. But Peta, not real sure of the connection there. I felt like she didn't have quite the character developement that RIP had. Then the ending, yes it is an HEA, but I doubt if they will be together after the book ends . . . they just didn't sdeem that solid. I would have liked more book dealing with their actual relationship.
This is Rip and Peta’s story. This story is an emotional rollercoaster for me as I travelled along on their journey to find happiness. This one is intense but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is a great addition to the series. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is book 5 of the guardians of Mayhem MC Santa Fe chapter series. I am so in love with this whole series. The books keep getting better and better. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC
Wow. Really enjoying this MC series. Touching story, beautifully told. I was so sorry when it ended. Rip and Peta seemed an unlikely couple, yet the scars they both carried helped to draw them together, but in a really tense, tentative way, together with fireworks! The loveable dog Rogue was a great addition. The relationship was deeper than mere physical chemistry, yet that was also present. I received this book as an arc and this review is entirely voluntary.
I have followed this series and Rip is just as good as the rest of the books in the Guardian of Mayhem MC. Rip and Peta meet when he goes to the animal shelter to adopt a dog and it just gets better from there especially with the childhoods they had. I always look forward to more books by this author. They always seem to draw me in.
