I witnessed a murder scene of a villain. To make matters worse, he caught me. I think I hear the sound of death beckoning.
He approaches me, his hand in his coat. I wonder what he’s reaching for. A knife? A gun? I guess it doesn’t matter. There’s only one thing I can think of now.
“I’m going to die.” I wasn’t expecting what he pulled out of his coat.
Storyline: After falling into a novel I was reading, I find myself in the character Regina's body. But wait...aren't I the FL's best friend that dies at the beginning and kickstarts the story? How exactly did I die again...oh right I witnessed a murder scene of the villain. So this time I'll just stay away.
However it seems I can't escape Regina's fate, and to make matters worse, the villain caught me seeing his evil deed. I think I hear the sound of death beckoning.

Compared to other manga's I have read this is a relatively average manga. The drawing style quite nice, though I did not like the way that some of the hair was drawn. The queen had a some very weird curls and the hair in the later chapters seemed to make the lead female characters younger. They wore pigtails and in some cases shorter dresses which usually signifies that a person is not an adult yet. Especially in manga's where it sometimes can be difficult to distinguish age in ways other than styling when the character is between 16 and 30.
The story line was nothing new or extraordinary though still entertaining. However, the female lead annoyed me so much that I nearly did not finish the manga. The characterisation of the female lead is not quite consistant and swings between her being intelligent and dumb. The male lead has a lot of red flags, though he is not the worst I have ever read (Damian in Betrayal of Dignity comes to mind here). Some of the red flags are due to a misunderstanding because the female lead read the novel. This causes the female lead to run away as she is afraid that he will kill her (the male lead does not really do anything to make her belief that he would kill her except in one of their first interactions). This of course leads to the actual antagonist to start her attack on the female lead again.
I could understand the reason for some of the readers to not like the male lead, but I really did not think he was as bad as they made him out to be, though I would not date a person like him.
If you want to read a relatively short drama with quite nice art then you should read this, however, if these kinds of leads annoy you or trigger you then you should avoid this manga and the light novel

This one started off with a good idea but quickly became boring. The female led was not relatable or honestly very likable and had no real character development. We never really get to know the male lead as a person so we can't care about him. I hung on for a while, hoping it would get better, but I'm throwing in the towel.
It was mid, many of the plot points were resolved to easy and I feel like the romance wasn't really there until the end so it kinda felt rushed. I did end up liking some of the side characters like Logan and Cyril they were my favorites.🤞 (Logan deserves better!!😭)
This series is absolutely wonderful in my opinion. The Duke is a complex character, and when his dark, possessive side comes out, it makes him the villain. People need to keep in mind that he was raised by the evil Empress.
This male lead is not expected to be squeaky clean, as he is a man with blood on his hands (for reasons that make sense). The way this series has so many twists and turns had me at the edge of my seat! You start seeing true intentions come out and different perspectives start taking place.
I highly love this series, and it definitely brought some tears to my eyes once it ended. All of the characters were very well written, and the storyline will have you feeling all kinds of emotions! I would definitely say this series has become one of my favorites.
Hmm...this was an interesting read that I can't quite figure out my feelings on. I really liked the beginning and the romance was really well-written. However the middle was not my favorite, and the epilogues last chapter was not my favorite. It just kind of seemed unnecessary. Although I liked the romance, I felt like it could have been explored more. I think some of the decisions made were also kind of strange, at least in my opinion. I really enjoyed the main character's friends! They were very entertaining! Overall, I enjoyed this series, but I wish that some things were a little different.
Also completely random thing but that one guy with the long light brown hair TOTALLY reminded me of Inuyasha. I don't know why, but he reminded me of him!
Started this one a couple of years ago when it came out, paused it because I wanted the story to be complete before reading...
I didn't remember how annoying Regina was. Wow she almost ruined the story... Girl, you were supposed to die early in "the book" so if it didn't happen, then why do you keep obsessing about the book "prophecy style" if the main event related to you didn't happen?
He is going to kill me, he is a killer... when he keeps showing you how much he cares about you and you are the one putting yourself in danger nonstop?
Most of the time, the female lead is running away from the male lead because of a misunderstanding. Both leads don't know how to communicate with each other. The male lead is kind of dumb for not weighing things and acting out of impulse, while the female lead is a bit smart but likes to keep herself around troubles. Such a messy plotline.
This is boring because the FL is so one dimensional. She only has two expressions and one of them is the one on the cover. I like the ML but he isn't really a villain. I don't get why the FL is so afraid of him.
7.5/10! It was pretty good, nothing that wow me really but it was good for a quick reading and I liked how in the ending they showed them when they were older and their child was grown up. Pretty cute!
Nomás me leí la primera temporada porque no soporté la mal caracterización que tienen los personajes en esta historia. Hacen una cosa un día y al siguiente hacen algo completamente fuera de personaje con tal de seguir la narrativa que la autora quiere dar, es contradictorio
it was really cute. there could be more development to the story, the characters, the relationships and the climax, but it was good for what I wanted, which is a not overstimulating and cute story which is COMPLETED.
I kept waiting for it to become interesting alas it never did. The art is okay but nothing special, which can also be said for the two leads who are flat af 🙃
Not only did they grow up BUT THEY CHILD GREW UP I feel old :,) nah but poor people risking everything to hussle her out only for her to be in love and come back …

Beautiful art. The plot hasn't moved much yet but it's entertaining enough to make you keep reading. The last scene for this season is quite intriguing. Definitely a cliffhanger making you wish you can read more soon. Looking forward to reading the next of this.
