A case of mistaken identity. A love spell gone horribly wrong. And enough angst to last a lifetime... or two.
When graphic designer Catherine "Kitty" Golightly and retail magnate Jasper "Rhett" Van Knapp rekindle their romance at their high school reunion, a jealous classmate transforms herself into the villain Witchkraft in an attempt to separate and ensnare them. Donning their superhero identities, which are unbeknownst to one another, Lady Catrina (Kitty) and the Rogue of Roses (Rhett) try to stop her, only to end up falling victim to a lust spell while “beneath the mask.”
How will the ramifications of the lusty liaison between Catrina and the Rogue affect the burgeoning love between Kitty and Rhett?
If you enjoy fantasy and/or paranormal romance, "I love you, but I can't be with you," accidental babies, superheroes trying to love and live normal lives, angsty two-person love triangles, and baby daddy "whodunnits" with a HEA, then this may be the book for you!
Always Have, Always Will is what we all crave in a romance. The added element of secret identities kicks up the Will they/Won’t they to a whole new level that kept me turning the pages.
The story begins when Kitty and Rhett are teenagers, giving us the foundation we need for why these two have such a hard time figuring things out. Not only do they have to deal with their hang ups from the past, but a supervillain is hanging in the background, waiting for their moment to strike.
Kitty is a kickass superheroine with vulnerabilities that make her human. Rhett’s trauma as a teenager only makes him more determined as a man to love and to love hard, making him a prime candidate for your next book boyfriend. When these two get together, make sure you grab a drink of water because you’re going to be thirsty. The heat between them is off the charts and the steamy scenes, in and out of the bedroom, are beautifully written.
The way Hahn created her supers was fun and different from anything I’ve ever read. I enjoyed the relationships between them and their Familiars and I’m intrigued to see more of them as the series continues.
This book is a fantastic start to a fun and action packed superhero romance series!

Always Have, Always Will is a heartwarming tale of love, friendship, and discovering oneself. Reading the book felt like a warm hug- the characters were so well developed and I felt attached to each of them (even the villains). I loved the story arc and the tension that came from the superhero secret identities- and more than once I found myself yelling “just kiss already!”
Overall I really, really enjoyed Kitty and Rhett’s story. Sofia Hahn has done something really magical with this. I honestly wish I could read it for the first time all over again.

“There are a few spoilers but I’ve tried to keep most of it under wraps ”. I was always fascinated by the concept of superhero romance books and this book was just perfect! Set in Rose city, a tanker incident caused a few of its residents to come into contact with familiars, beings that give them superpowers. That’s where our leads come in. Jasper Rhett Von Trapp/Rogue of Roses and Catherine Golightly/Lady Catrina are two such individuals that have become two of Rose City’s strongest familiars courtesy of their familiars, Kitsune and Kasha respectively. They attend high school together by day and fight crime like a pair of badass vigilantes by night. One of the things I enjoyed most was the hiding of secret identities. Rhett has always had a gut feeling that Kitty could be his nighttime partner. And at times it’s quite obvious and they’re always on the verge of figuring each other out but never do. The Rogue also, for a brief while, harboured feelings for his Lady but she turns him down. Jasper and Kitty on the other hand have been in love with each other forever. Of course any great love has an annoying obstacle. Enter Jade Nguyen Vanderbilt, the least likeable character I’ve read in a while. Complete with her own abused minion, it’s crazy how much I loved to despise her. Just as Jasper and Kitty finally almost get together, they’re drawn apart, courtesy Jade. Where there’s superheroes, there are also supervillains. Rose City’s biggest supervillain, the Plaguer, inhabited by the dark familiar Nuribotoke, is the Rogue and Lady’s archnemesis. He zombifies a horde of innocent bystanders and make them comply to his crazy demands and leave them with no memory of the recollection. While defeating them, a devastating secret is revealed(one that I refuse to give away lmao), and through a series of events, the Rogue and Lady and because of that Jasper and Kitty are forced apart for ten years. Cut to, ten years later, the two who’ve been in love through the entire time, reunite at their high school reunion. Of course just when the lead gets to finally have their first kiss, in sweeps a new supervillain who’s MO, I have to say is fab. I mean I REALLY WOULD NOT COMPLAIN AT ALL if I was attacked in such a way. This villain casts a lust spell, causing couples to rut like wild animals. And who do you think falls for this? The Rogue and Lady of course, while battling the villain. But seeing as how they’re unbeknownst of the other’s identity, when Jasper and Kitty decide to really date and get together, they believe they’re keeping a secret from the other. Cue accidental pregnancy. Kitty believes that the father of her baby could be the Rogue or Jasper(who are the same people but these two don’t know that lmao). So when the Lady tells the Rogue about the paternity of her child, Rhett breaks up with Kitty(who hasn’t told Rhett about her baby)because he believes that Kitty deserves better. These two have a serious lack of communication issue. Half of their issues would be solved if they just talked to each other. I mean go back a bit and read those sentences about the accidental baby. That was confusing as hell! All because they’re not allowed to divulge their secret identity to the other, according to their familiars! I loved the steam between the leads but I also loved the action parts. Cece and Emmo, best friends to Kitty and Rhett, are Violet Fae and Thunderbeast and because they’re married, they know about each other and kind of have a hunch about the Rogue and Lady also! I loved the concept of familiars. Kasha and Kitsune are sentient beings with their own thoughts and are constantly talking to their hosts. It felt like having a confidante who’d inhabited your body(a bit like venom tbh but not as vicious thank god). But the most powerful familiar is Ryuu, whose host is Zane. Zane is my favourite part of this book. He was patient and powerful and I felt kind of bad for him towards the end. Sofia Hahn has set up this kickass team of heroes and familiars and the ending of this book felt like a first season finale to a really good DC show with villains lurking in the background but a team of heroes raring to go and ready to protect! I am happy with Lady being the undisputed leader of this little squad BUT I kind of fell in love with Violet Fae and Thunderbeast in the space of a chapter and I’m looking forward to seeing them play a more prominent role. The steam and the romance and the will they/won’t they kept me hooked but the action drew me in too. Especially towards the end!

“With you by my side, I could take on a thousand supervillains.”
Always Have, Always Will by Sofia Hahn is a spicy romance about secret identities, soulmates, and the consequential decision between love and responsibility.
First rule of being a superhero: your identity is your best-kept secret. When Kitty Golightly isn’t trying to make strides in the fashion world, she patrols the night as Lady Catrina. Rhett Vann Knapp is already well-known in the fashion world, but he much prefers his alter ego as Rose City’s Rogue of Roses. When rekindling their lost romance during a high school reunion unknowingly creates a supervillain and puts their superhero alter egos in a spellbinding situation, they soon find out they will have a lot more on their plate than fighting evil.
Kitty and Rhett’s romance is one full of desire and frustrations. I adored their relationships--both the civilian chemistry and crime-fighting partnership; and the fact that they work so well together, despite not knowing each other’s real identities, can attest that their relationship is one of a kind and really meant to be. They just compliment each other so well, it would make anyone crave the same connection.
The characters were all uniquely and humanly flawed, it was hard not to get attached to every single one of them. All of their faults and indecisiveness made them whole-heartedly human and made me love them more for their imperfections (despite some questionable decisions being made). And although I loved Rhett and Kitty, I can’t help to find that the side characters, like Cece, Emmo, and Zayne, were my favorites.
Sofia Hahn really created something special here. Flavors of Miraculous Ladybug and Inuyasha were ever so present in the story, but the way she wrote it with her touch of originality made it uniquely her own. An incredible story of soulmates and supervillains, with uniquely imperfect characters that make them more real and more human than some I’ve read so far. Always Have, Always Will should be on your tbr list if you’re looking for a fast-paced and total page-turner story full of hair-grabbing double love triangles, hidden identities, friendship group goals, and steamy romance.
A big thanks to Sofia Hahn for writing this book and for sending me an arc copy in exchange for an honest review.
Well, in the beginning they were cute because the story starts when Rhett and Kitty are in high school, trying to figure life and their alter-egos out (Lady Catrina and Rogue of Roses) but it does move on to when they become adults. I wasn't too fond of Rhett as a teenager since he let Jade push him around and also let her bully Kitty.
After being away from her hometown for years, Kitty returns and sees Rhett at their high school reunion. Of course, a villain appears to disrupt the lovers and cause all kinds of chaos and misunderstanding. There was quite a bit of steam between Kitty and Rhett, along with angst and a rocky road to an eventual HEA. I look forward to the next Rose City Supers book!

Just as long-time friends Kitty and Rhett find themselves falling for one another, a villain has emerged to cast a love spell that will not only affect Rose City but their alter-egos Lady Caterina and The Rogue of Roses. Can these two find love behind their masks?
This book was a flirty caper from start to finish. I loved the characters together and the heat level was just the right spice for me. Kitty was a strong and fun character to read and I loved her relationship with Rhett. It is my favorite of Hahn’s books so far (and I loved her previous books a lot)
If you're looking for sexy scenes, action and romance look no further.

I loved the pacing of this book from the first page. I did not want to put it down. Okay, Rhett and Kitty with their ups and downs had me wanting to know more in this page turning book. Well-written characters, great (at times hilarious) dialogue, excellent details, good steamy scenes, and terrific settings provide enough dashes of angst for any good romance novel. This was the first Sofia Hahn book I've read, but now I want read more of her works. Without giving any spoilers, I highly recommend this book for an amazing read that will keep you up a night (or two) for the best of reasons!

I enjoyed this book. It’s worth a read. The twists and turns to the story, particularly in the last 80% were good. Some I guessed, some I didn’t. It purposefully leads you down dead ends throughout the book to divert suspicions, which have all been cleverly thought out. I really loved discovering the story as it moved on.
The 'will they, won't they' push and pull over their superhero reveals drove me to distraction! I nearly threw my kindle at certain points!! If only they knew earlier! Grrr!
All in all a good story and I'm looking forward to reading the next one!

Really enjoyed this Superhero romance, it had all the drama of a classic Superhero Movie with the uncertainty of true identities and a surprise baby to boot.
All of the names confused me a little at first but I sharp got my head around them and thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters.
I can't wait for the next installment to see what kitty and rhett get up to next. Also would be great to see more of cece and emmo...
