Book One in the Dragadelf Trilogy. For thirty years, a forgotten fear has haunted the land of Terrasendia. The Dragadelf. Birthed by a magical phenomenon, the seven beasts swarmed the capital of Felders Crest to protect their claim. Trapped by their own greed, twinned with the greatest containment spell ever to exist, nothing went in, and nothing went out. But Terrasendia is about to learn, that may not exactly be true. A Nobleman, a Màgjeur and a Septalian learn through discovery and time, that their existence is aligned by more than just a secret fate, and that they too may have a claim to the divine power that now governs the world of Rèo.
I can only imagine the hours that went into the world building into this book. Everything was well structured and thought out, from the creatures, to the system of magic, to the societal class structure.
It centres around three men that seemingly are not connected but as the story develops we start to see how they are all working to the same goal.
Sometimes I found the writing a little confusion, there was a lot to learn about this world and it sometimes gave me too much information and had my head rolling with who everyone was and what was happening. But I still enjoyed it as an epic fantasy read.
