I still can't get over the fact that he kidnapped me...
And I'm still freaking here!
I have four mates, and NONE of them have saved me yet?! Okay, that's a little petty. I'm sure they're trying their best, but our small mental conversations aren't enough. I'm slowly losing my mind in this basement, and I can't tell whether it's from not being with my mates for so long or the torture that I'm forced to endure from this overgrown man child.
After cementing my bond with our mates, our connection is tested by our enemies. The pain from being separated from them is excruciating, but I can't let that take me out. I have to get back to them. I've already developed more personalities from all of the times I've had to talk to myself!
Wouldn't you be desperate for a rescue?

They stole her from right under our noses, but they've underestimated us.
We're all struggling to keep our wits about us, but we have to persevere. The only thing that's keeping us from going on a rampage are the fleeting reassurances we get from her through the bond, though that does nothing to calm our wolves.
You never mess with a wolf's newly bonded mate.
Although we still have a corrupt council to deal with, it's been forced to the back burner when James lets us know that the wolves may not be alone in this war. Now we have to deal with a whole other race of supernaturals JUST to be able to get our girl back! Only one thing will satisfy our wolves first and foremost, though.
Love the storyline, love the characters but sadly the grammar takes away from all of it. In one instance there is a complete sentence that makes no sense. This applies to all the books in this series.
Okay so I just finished Part 2 of the Lunar Warriors!!!! And WOW!!!! This is by far my favorite book in the series and I truly feel that M.D. Butler is coming into her own as an author. It's been awesome to watch as the writing just progresses more and more with each book!!!! Can't wait for book #4!! The entire series is definitely worth a read (or two). Can't wait to see where this series ends up and with such a big pack the possibilities are endless for spin off's (hint hint M.D. Butler) :)
I love the way she writes! The story line is interesting. The author manages to encapsulate the trauma that the lead character goes through without making you experience the trauma. There is a hefty amount of levity thrown it that prevents the book from being too dark. That all being said, the numerous grammatical errors and incorrect words was disappointing. I would happily, costing far less time and money, edit these books for the author.
Okay I generally do not rage about books but I am so upset by the inconsistencies in this story.
The biggest of which is the fact the she used her purple electrical power in the last book on her one day of school (absolute waste of time other than introducing Candace as a character). All of a sudden she “discovers” her purple power is electricity based after using it on Benny Boy. All her mates are surprised as well. Excuse me but how in the world did y’all forget she used this power before???
Also these next statements may be triggering but as someone who has miscarried 3 times and has been in an emotionally and psychologically abusive relationship (almost 10 years) I can assure you that the events in this book make no sense. First off it’s honestly BS that she gets pregnant after her first time having sex. This just sucks on so many levels imo. However my big beef comes from the fact that she was Drugged by chloroform and wolfsbane repeatedly. The latter of which hurt her so badly that she was unable to heal and it suppressed her wolf entirely. She is dragged across gravel and down a flight of stairs. She was held for at-least 4 days and is said to have not been given anything to eat or drink during this time. Then she is tortured horribly for those 4 days where in she is losing mass amounts of blood and has intense injuries to her entire body. This does not even account for the mass amounts of stress her body would have been under due to torture and the newly cemented mate bonds being stretched due to distance (something that is said to cause lesser wolves to lose their minds entirely). Then her body experiences shifting for the first time, a battle in wolf form with her abuser and a cross state wide run. All of this and her pregnancy survives? I’m calling complete BS.
I understand this is a Paranormal/Fantasy book but I can only dispel belief and common sense so much and this was just utterly ridiculous.
While we are at it, She could have freed herself. If she was able to take down such a powerful magical barrier she could have escaped some chains. The excuse of holding out on exposing her wolf made no sense when she could have struck from the beginning in the car when Benson thought she was sleeping and avoided all of that pain.
It also should be mentioned that her behavior makes no sense for the abuse she suffered her entire life. You would have triggers and be more reserved and distrustful. Accepting her mates is one thing. Accepting every person she meets from then on out and allowing multiple people to touch her even platonically is BS. This is not realistic to trauma and abuse.

This book picks up right where the last one ended: with Jahla still locked away in a hidden cabin and her guys freaking out while trying to find a way to free their mate. Will their Luna provide the key to rescue Jahla?
What I like most about this book, is that it never gets boring even though the storyline doesn't seem to evolve very fast. I think that is mainly the case because the author manages to keep the characters interesting. Some side characters get a more central role, some main characters find different characteristics within themselves, other people are introduced, ... I like books that focus on character building like this one; it makes it into an interesting and unpredictable read. The author also provides a healthy balance between light and dark, between strength and the wish to be cared for and looked after.
I enjoy reading this series and I'm looking forward to finding out how Jahla's story continues

The Lunar Warriors is book three (part 2) in the series The Elemental Wolves by author M.D. Butler. This one gets dark - so much is happening - secrets come to light. If you think you haven’t fell helpless into M.D. Butler’s clutches and your reading this book it’s too late. You’re done there’s no escape- welcome to the family. Yet all she knows now is darkness, silence and pain. Are they coming, all she needs is a chance and just maybe some luck. Next book please!! Enjoy!!
I am really loving this series. The humor and sarcasm is one of the best parts. Even though the FMC is going through so much she is trying to look one the bright side. There are several different twists that make you just want to keep reading to find out what happens next. It leaves off on a cliffhanger.... next book cant come fast enough.

Benson has taken Jahla and her mates need to find her and quickly. War is coming and she may be the only one who can save then.
I love this plotline! The continuation from book one to book two was flawless and picks up right where we left off. I loved that we got to see more into the guys' perspectives and seen more on what the prophecy will do for everyone.
It lulled a bit in a couple spots, but overall the story was great and the writing was well done.

Still need better editing and proofing before publishing! This series feels rushed. I'm sad that im starting to lose interest. It held so much potential. But, with all the grammatical errors and formatting with words, I just keep skipping chapters. I will be hesitant in the future to read this author since all books in this series have the same problems!
I chose 5stars because the story is great and fast moving . There's some sex but it doesn't take over like some books do. Just read it you won't be disappointed . Can't wait for the last book so hurry up author lol.
