So challenging and exhorting!

Sarah Yardley never ceases to amaze me in the many years I’ve known her. Having worked with her I can safely say that change roils around her like a tornado. Some of it self-induced, some just because she loves Jesus and doesn’t settle for boring, stale existence. This book is a long conversation with someone who has experienced the good, bad, and ugly side of change. Sarah’s counsel comes from experience, scripture, and wisdom born from both joy and sorrow. Pick up this fantastic read and get ready to step up to the challenge known as change.

Treat yourself!! One of the best Christian books I have read in a long time. Succinct and clear, personal and relevant, beautifully written, and one you'll want to "gift" to others. I bought 3 to give as Christmas gifts. A treasure of a book to revisit often, whether you're going through a change, have gone through a change, or a change is coming up. Lots of great morsels to chew on. Sarah has such wisdom, insight, and her joy leaps off of the pages. Truly uplifting and encouraging. I hope Sarah has more books coming around the bend! Get ready to want to lean in closer to Jesus with expectant hope!

A short, sharp shot in the arm of useful advice for navigating change.

In this uplifting book, Sarah Yardley reaches for the Bible to explore ways we can embrace and manage change in our lives. No matter how big or small that change might be, the grace of God can help us manage the ups and downs of life.

Each chapter explores our response to change, looks at what the Bible teaches us and ends with a prayer. A truly uplifting reading experiencing.

Although this book may be short, it was very thought-provoking! It was a great read to examine and grow in my faith. I picked it up after seeing a reel of the author (speaking on a different topic). Still, I wanted to read more about their perspective despite not anticipating any significant changes in my life. But change does come unexpectedly, and it ended up greatly helping me navigate some changes this past year.

Thank you so much to SPCK and Netgalley for a review copy of this wonderful book. It's punchy, encouraging and beautifully written. After the year we've had - we need books like this one more than ever which encourage biblical reflection and spiritual rhythms.
