USA TODAY Bestselling Author Claudia Burgoa brings us a light-hearted small-town romantic comedy full of a swoon-worthy billionaire, single dad romance, and big laughs.
I need a massive break.
So long to my cheating boyfriend and betraying roommate.
Goodbye hectic emergency room and long hours.
When I get an opportunity to take over my grandfather’s medical practice in Luna Harbor I happily accept the chance to try on a new life that holds sweet memories.
But I can barely think about anything at all when the new coffee shop/bar next to my practice always seems to be having an impromptu concert.
Who sets up a coffee and a bar in the same location as a music venue?
Fisher Hannigan, Head Man Child (ok, Keyboardist) of the band Too Far From Grace, that’s who.
He’s also the man who can't stop flirting with me every time we meet. He’s having the time of his life, while I’m trying to run a quiet medical practice.
Even though he infuriates me, our chemistry is off the charts and I can’t say I haven’t thought about giving him a full physical exam.
Claudia is an award-winning, USA Today bestselling author. She writes alluring, thrilling stories about complicated women and the men who take their breath away. She lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband and her youngest two children. She has a sweet Bichon, Macey, who thinks she's the ruler of the house. She's only partially right. When Claudia is not writing, you can find her reading, knitting, or just hanging out with her family. At night, she likes to binge watch shows with her equally geeky husband.
"Maybe the playboy, man-child, free-spirited man isn't real. What if behind that facade is a broken man who's too afraid to share himself to the world?"
Fisher Hannigan loves a good prank but when he's presented with a newborn baby, he certainly doesn't find it funny. He doesn't know the first thing about babies and finds himself turning to the new doctor in town, Nathalie Brennan. She came to Luna Harbour to escape her old life and make a new one, and Fisher's been flirting madly with her since she arrived. She's not impressed, especially as he's the cause of plenty of sleepless nights for her. However, no matter how much she tries to resist him and keep him at a distance, her heart never fails to melt when she sees him with the baby. She can do nothing else but help him, until both man and baby begin worming their way into her heart.
"I never needed to kiss anyone. With her, I have an urge. An urge to crush her body against mine. To claim her mouth, before I claim her body. To give her my soul along with my heart."
It has to be said that Fisher Hannigan is irritatingly charming but a massive softie! I felt that a lot of his cheerfulness masked a lot of fears and doubts that lurked beneath the surface. He trusted a small circle of people, but I loved how Nathalie snuck under his skin. She was not in the market for a relationship but Fisher was not only gorgeous, he had a way about him that melted her heart - and mine! He was so adorable with baby Keaghan and I loved how he won Nathalie round. Both of these souls had plenty of baggage, and I did NOT expect the revelation near the end!! Wowsers!
Another fab read from this author packed with emotion, as well as camaraderie, friendship and family. Looking forward to the next one.
"The little demon has been sucking all the energy out of me since he arrived. I think I'll die a slow, painful death before anyone finds me." BEST OPENING TO A BOOK EVER
Fisher & Natalie is VERY enemies to lovers with amazing one lines and I laugh so much with this book. I got tearful too especially the letter from her Grandpa & he gave her some advice
"You're here to make the world a better place."
Now back to the romance and this is a comedy romance with alot of heart. I will say this give Fisher a chance yes he is a bad boy man child BUT he redeems himself no spoilers.
Fisher & Natalie love story is perfect and the baby...no spoilers on the sex of the baby or name you have to read the book to find out. It's part of their journey the baby and their love story. They both learn to be in a relationship and raise a baby however, not everything is smooth sailing...no spoilers
This book has a lot of heart in this book and I promise willl make you smile & cry🥰🥲
P.S Do not throw your tablet at the wall when a certain BITCH appears...no spoilers on who they are...
I loved everything about returning to Luna Harbor and getting to know Fisher and Natalie as well as being reunited with the rest of the Too Far From Grace band members and their respective families.
When Natalie decides to take over her grandfathers practice in the quaint little town of Luna Harbor she hopes for new beginnings and a lot less stress than what she experienced as an Emergency Room Doctor back in New York. When she catches the attention of the very sexy “happy-go-lucky” Fisher everything she hopes and has planned for comes crashing down!
The banter between Nat and Fish was hilarious and I loved the way he flirted with her. Even though this was a slow burn romance the attraction between them was strong and very real.
I enjoyed the added twist towards the end, this was a great addition to the story line and I did not have a clue it was coming.
This was a wonderful heartfelt story which had some laugh out loud moments as well as a bit of emotional angst. A very enjoyable read!
Luna Harbor just keeps getting better and better with each book, I'm really in love with this small town, its inhabitants and the guys who want to bring it back to its splendor, plus Fisher & Nat were extremely sweet, cuddly and funny.
I was especially excited for this book because Fisher was my favorite since Finally You: I fell in love with his funny, easy going, flirtatious personality, but in this book I could see that he's also a man hurt by his past, who doesn't allow himself to love easily and who infinitely loves the family he chose, but who is also willing to help the people of Luna Harbor and can be the most tender, sensitive, lovable and vulnerable. I really loved this character more with each page even though his tragic backstory and insecurities broke my heart.
Nat is a doctor who knows very well what to do with her life, has a VERY complicated relationship with her family and is tired of meeting their expectations, that's why she decides to resume the medical practice she inherited from her grandfather in Luna Harbor: a place where she unexpectedly found herself, love and the family she always wanted. This girl was very interesting to read, her personality stole my heart and it was very fun to read her struggling to pick up her life, and trying to start her family legacy again.
My favorite thing about Fish & Nat was how similar their fears, insecurities and personalities are, especially how that makes their relationship more complicated, but also how it helps them to heal their wounds and form a loving family. I also loved the way Claudia Y. Burgoa developed their story: I think it was perfect to show us the attraction between the two when they first met, the push and pull between both of them and how Nat gradually discovers Fish's true personality, all this before the adorable baby appears in their lives and turns everything upside down. But when this little guy comes into Fisher's life it also shows him a different side of himself, a future he didn't know he wanted, and strengthens the relationship between him and Nat, which I thought it was beautiful and it made me love these characters even more.

PERFECTLY YOU is the second book in the LUNA HARBOR SERIES and can be read as a standalone, in my opinion since this series follows a group of close friends/band mates I would read the series in order of release that way you can follow the progression of each of the couples.
Dr. Nathalie Brennan needs a change of scenery after coming home one day to find her boyfriend and her roommate in a compromising position, so she decides it's time to quit her job and move to Luna Harbor to take over the practice her grandfather left her in his will.
Fisher Hudson along with his To Far From Grace band mates are in Luna Harbor helping the Cantu family out while it's patriarch is sick and revitalize the town in the process. Little does Fisher know how much his life is going to change while living in this quaint small town.
The attraction is instantaneous when Fish lays eyes on the new Doc, he even refers to her as Dr. Hottie but at the same time he knows there's something different about his attraction to her. I couldn't get enough of Fish's flirting with Nathalie and how she wanted no part of it even though she was attracted to him as well. Then one night changes everything...Fish's manager shows up with a baby informing him that his former hookup dropped the baby off at his office, and when he can't get the baby to stop crying he turns to the Doc for help.
If you enjoy Steamy Contemporary Romances, Rockstar Romances, Single Dad Romances, or Small Town Romances I would recommend this book to you.
Claudia Burgoa never fails to make me swoon with her small town romance and big families who are bound by more than blood. Fish and Nathalie were brought together by fateful circumstances but their hearts are aligned. It was sweet and emotional with layered and complicated characters but overall it's a celebration of friendship and love.
Fisher "Fish" Hannigan has many talents. Lead keyboard player of the famous alternate punk band Too Far From Grace. Part of a secret organisation. Great baker. Right now he is helping his friend Manelik in reviving and supporting their family businesses in Luna Harbour. And he is attracted to the new doctor of the town. Nathalie took the opportunity to escape her broken heart and manipulative parents when her grandfather's partner asked her to take over the practice at Luna Harbour. She is all over the places and Fish is relentless. And then the baby arrives at his doorstep. Fish is definitely not ready for fatherhood. And they form a bond while taking care of the baby. But will Nathalie stay?
What I loved about Nathalie and Fish is their emotional depth. Both are fighting with emotional demons. Nathalie is tired of trying to appease her suffocating parents. Fish never escaped the guilt and pain from his past. Both keep their hearts closed because they are afraid of getting hurt. This unique situation pushed them together and they slowly started falling in love. Fish is such a fun character. He is full on charming and flirty and witty. But his intense side makes him more interesting. His family of band mates never takes him seriously but life has thrown the surprise and he has to take responsibility. Nathalie helped him through everything and it deepened their connection. They have beautiful chemistry too. This story is low on steam and high on feels. Nathalie finally took the stand to choose herself and her happiness with the man who always appreciated her and cherished her and made her feel valued. And Fish let his heart fall in love.
My love for Claudia Y. Burgoa books it really fresh and I love that with each book I get more and more in love with her work. My first book by her was book 1 in Luna harbor series and to say this book two was a brilliant way how two people who maybe don't seem to work on paper, end up being the best thing that ever happened to them. Fisher was really a big pill to swallow every once in a while. But when he first laid eyes on Nathalie aka Dr. Hottie all bets were off. He felt the connection deeply and I was laughing out loud all the time she gave him a hard time.
They both have difficult pasts that keep them in a place where no one can hurt them. But there's this thing with love where even if you try to outrun it, it will force you to slow down and Except all the loving someone is willing to give without any demands in return.

Emergency room doctor Nathalie Brennan has been fed up with her job and the impossible task of living up to her family's high expectations for some time, but when she comes home to find her boyfriend, the son of her mother's best friend, cheating on her with her roommate, it's the straw that broke the camel's back. On a whim, she decides to move across the country to the small town of Luna Harbor and take over the family medical practice that once belonged to her grandfather. Nathalie arrives to find that the apartment she was promised isn't really an apartment at all; it doesn't have a kitchen or a bathroom, and her nearest neighbor is a combination coffee shop/bar/music venue that keeps her up all night. She's surprised to learn that the venue is owned and operated by the band Too Far from Grace, whose keyboard player, Fisher "Fish" Hannigan, immediately takes an interest in Nathalie. Fish and the band are on currently on hiatus, and they're using the time to revitalize Luna Harbor, drummer Manelik's hometown. Fish was excited about the project at first, but now that he's been stuck with the day-to-day of running the coffee shop for a few months, he's ready for a new challenge. He thinks Nathalie just might be that challenge...until an old flame drops a newborn baby off on his doorstep.
"Perfectly You" was classic Claudia Burgoa goodness: a funny, sweet story featuring endearing characters and just the right touches of angst and steam. I didn't think it was possible for me to like any of the other members of Too Far from Grace as much as I liked Beacon, but Fish definitely gave him a run for his money. I loved all of the pranks Fish played on his band mates, as well as the way he delighted in teasing and flirting with Nathalie to get her to pay attention to him. In return, she treated him just like a normal guy, and had no interest in his money or fame. They weren't a traditional match, but they were super cute together, and I loved cheering them on to their HEA.
I highly recommend "Perfectly You" for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I look forward to whatever Claudia Burgoa comes up with next!

What a great read… I really loved Fisher and Nathalie’s story. Fisher was a riot but a total sweetheart.
Nathalie is looking to find what she wants to do with her life. So when her grandfather leaves her his practice in Luna Harbor she decides to pack it up and move. When she first meets Fisher she was not impressed. Even though he was part of her favorite band she did not want ready to be involved with someone again.
Fisher was part of the band Too Far From Grace and in his spare time he was part of a secret group that goes on special missions. When he meets Nat for the first time he was attracted to her and thought what a nice distraction. But the more time they spend together, the more he finds himself wanting more with her. And then he gets a surprise that knocks him off his feet and who comes to his rescue… Dr Hottie…
I loved the story. I loved that Fisher never pushed Nathalie into anything. He just spent time with her and let her make up her own mind. And over time she saw what kind of person he was. Nathalie was, I think totally surprised by Fisher’s caring and his need to help people out. The two of them made a great couple. You had that light hearted flirting going on the whole story which made for a great read. I look forward to the next story in this series 😊❤ ❤
You know how you find that amazing romance read and then learn that it's part of a series, so you get even more of a world you’ve fallen in love with? Well, if you’re not familiar with this talented lady's work, all of her series converge together at one point or another, so you'll get weeks of amazing escape with her loveable, unforgettable characters!
Fisher Hannigan is the keyboard player for the wildly popular Too Far From Grace, and we first met him with the Aldridge brothers in the Baker's Creek series. The bandmates have settled in Luna Harbor and are using their clout and wallets to revitalize the small town. Their most recent need is replacing the town doctor who is retiring.
Natalie Brennan loved the time she spent as a child with her grandfather at his small-town medical practice in Luna Harbor. After inheriting his half of the practice, Natalie decides to leave her position as an ER doctor and try her hand at small-town medicine. She's assured by the retiring doc that things are in order and she'll have the furnished apartment above the practice to live in once she arrives. Except things are very much not in order and no one warned her about having to deal with the smirking, arrogant keyboard player.
The thing I love about Burgoa's romances is that they remind us to slow down, take a breath, and focus on what really matters. Life is tough and people may treat us unfairly, as Natalie knows all too well, but it's the friends we make, the family we find, and the moments we share that keep us company on a lonely night and fill our heart with contentment.
With the perfect mix of humor, heat and heart, Fish and Natalie's story will make your heart smile and your soul sing. Part rock star, part black ops and a few epic surprises thrown in will have you devouring this one from the first page. Unexpected, addictive, and full of feels, don’t miss what is sure to be one of your favorite reads this year!
How can one read this book and not fall in love with Fisher W. Hannigan?
The man is one-fourth of the band Not Far From Grace -- one-fifth if you count Lang -- and the band is currently hiding from the world in Luna Harbor. Flirty, fun Fish crosses paths with the new doctor in town and is immediately drawn to slightly aloof Nathalie Brennan.
But Nat has her reasons to keep people, especially gorgeous men like Fisher, at bay. Her ex-boyfriend just cheated on her. She practically lives in her brothers' shadows when it comes to her parents. And she is at the end of her rope when it comes to her job in the emergency room.
When an opportunity to take over her grandfather's old medical practice in Luna Harbor came up, she immediately jumped on the chance. Cue Fisher's entrance to her life.
I love that we come upon Nat and Fish when they meet, get to know together, and are eventually forced to face the emotional demons from their past. Despite their bickering, they have more in common than they thought: their insecurities, their tendency to keep people at arm's length. There is a surprise baby involved -- not in the way that you might think -- but he serves as a catalyst for the main characters' development arc and it is absolutely fun to watch.
This read was not at all what I expected. I jumped in with small-town, enemies-to-lovers expectations and came away with a sweet banter-buddies-to-friends-to-lovers with a small side of romantic suspense.
** I am voluntarily reviewing an advance copy of this book. Thank you to Claudia Borgia and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for providing an ARC. **
Perfectly You is the perfect title for this wonderful addition to the Luna Harbor Series. This is Fisher W Hannigan and Nathalie’s entertaining story and let me just say their journey has something for everyone including a surprise baby.
Emma Wilder and Jacob Morgan did a great job bring the characters and their journey to life. They were spot on with the banter and they were easy to listen to.
Nathalie has arrived in Luna Harbor to start afresh, she needs a break from her past and taking over her grandfathers medical practice seems the perfect solution but when she arrives she finds out she needs to share an apartment with Fish and it’s seems his band also practice at all hours ……. What starts off as two people rubbing each other up the wrong way soon turns into something much deeper when a surprise baby lands on Fish’s doorstep. I loved watching Natalie fall for Fish and his son, I loved watching Fish learn to become a dad and forming bonds with the son he didn’t know existed but what took this hook to another level was the sense of humour and the emotions that run wild throughout this fun, entertaining read. Luna Harbor feels like home and it’s residents feel like friends so I urge you to one click this gem of a read.
5 Star Review Perfectly You (Luna Harbor #2) by Claudia Burgoa
After reading Finally You I was excited to see what Ms. Burgoa had in store for Fisher and Nathalie. Perfectly you was an entertaining, well written story that ticked all the boxes for me. From the first chapter to the last I was hooked on their story.
I love small town romances and I could easily see myself in Luna Harbor such was the descriptive writing. Nathalie has moved to Luna Harbor for a new start and finds herself sharing with Fish.
The sparks fly between these two from the moment they meet and not in a good way. However it doesn’t take long before things become complicated when Fisher find himself with a baby on his doorstep.
The characters were easy to relate to and I really liked them separately and especially together. Nathalie has been hurt before but she is such an independent, strong woman and I admired her determination to move on with her life. Watching Fish come into his own with his baby son was truly heartwarming and the growth of his character throughout Perfectly You melted my heart.
This was a fun, steamy, yet emotional story with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in.
After the betrayal of those she thought she could trust Nathalie leaves her job as an ER doctor in the city and relocates to Luna Harbour and take over the practice that her grandfather left her. She may be attracted to her new neighbor but doesn’t believe he is what she needs in her life, but he is about to prove her wrong.
Fisher finds himself in Luna Harbour while the band is on a necessary break. From his first meeting with Nat the sparks fly but it is only when he is surprised to learn he is a single father and approaches her for help that she realizes there is much more to the flirty easygoing man than she believed.
Neither was looking for love or a relationship but sometimes the best things happen when you least expect it. Fisher and Nat were exactly what the other needed in their lives as they found the family they both deserve.
Natalie jumps at the chance to return to Luna Harbor however soon learns things have changed, not only is the town changing thanks to some benefactors but she is being kept up at night by music and blames it all on Fish who doesn't seem to care it's bothering her. Fish, now that guy has always seemed like a good time guy so while it is fun for him to mess with Natalie a bit he also wants to help make things right, however that takes a backseat when an unexpected package arrives. Natalie and Fish actually have lots in common and we get to see them really learn about each other when Natalie steps in to help him and they start to be more than just the doctor helping a dad look after his kid. You get to see all the guys and gals from the other books as well as see plenty of laughs, heartache, seeing that family is by choice not just blood and new beginnings can be scary, but so worth it!!!!
Beautifully written story by Claudia, the characters are so complex and endearing. I love the Luna Harbor series and this heartwarming story just warms your soul. Fish proves to be so much more than the man-child player from the Band to far from Grace. Endearing and engaging Nathalie wins your heart with her spunky disregard of Fish and his fame. But as the story processes from friends to lovers this couple becomes so unexpected and unbreakable. A story that you really want to read, and will love every moment.
Fisher & Nathalie were soooo good!!! Fish was a huge flirt with Nathalie aka Dr. Hottie lol. She hated his flirting and barely tolerated him. But something about the handsome tatted guy pulled at her especially when his world was flipped upside down. Little did they know that they had quite a few things in common from their childhood. They slowly developed a relationship but still there was things from their past that made them had some type of insecurity that affected their relationship. But they made it work even with a hiccup. Loved how everything ended and it was never a dull moment.
This book was more emotionally intense by Ms. Burgoa. There was soul searching and emotional and psychological healing for both Fisher and Nathalie. Their difficult childhoods affected all aspects of their life. Fisher's flirting and humour endeared him to Nathalie. She was his support when he needed her the most. I loved this book!
Fish, Luna Harbor, Nat/Nathalie, TFFG, that hot but aggravating man who makes you crazy, surprises, family you choose, second chances, heartbreak and healing, and some people should never be allowed to speak to children.
Perfectly You Luna Harbor, Book 2 By: Claudia Burgoa Narrated by: Emma Wilder, Jacob Morgan
Claudia Burgoa pens another fabulous novel set in her “Luna Harbor” series, a story that not only captivated my attention the entire book, but tugged on my heartstrings and put a smile on my face as well. Luna Harbor is becoming another of my favorite places to visit, the characters are amazing, they are a great group of people, each as interesting as the other and are the type of people you would love to be friends with and definitely want to have your back when needed. Fisher Hannigan is the head keyboardist of “Too Far From Grace”, but the band is on hiatus while one of their members recuperates from a serious injury, and is staying in Luna Harbor. Well, it is more than staying, they are also helping to revitalize the small town, buying up properties with plans to renovate and modernize them. Nathalie Brennan had enough with it all, her parents, her cheating not ex boyfriend, the roommate he cheated with and working in the ER. A call from her late Grandpa’s partner about the medical practice in Luna Harbor, gives her an idea, to do something for herself and not try to please her demanding family. She inherited her Grandpa’s half of that practice and her fondest childhood memories were from spending time with him, probably the happiest moments in her life. So goodbye NY and hello Luna Harbor, she has little money so she will stay in the apartment above the clinic. When she gets there, she is told that it is not really an apartment, but she is adamant about staying there and soon finds out why it is not an inhabitable space, the loud music at the Cafe/Bar. Fisher, the joker of the crew, told her so and when she comes to complain, he gets a kick out of breaking her chops. I loved the back and forth between these two, the witty dialogue is hilarious. Fisher does not do relationships, but he sure wants to do the new doctor in town, And when a bundle of joy is dropped into his lap, it is overwhelming for him and the first person he thinks to go to for help was Nathalie, sure no one else was around but she was his perfect choice. It was great to watch these two get to know each other and learn more about them, both have their own inner demons and insecurities and deal with them in their own ways, it took them awhile to open up about them but when they did it just clicked for them. This wonderfully written and plotted story has a perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing novel and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧 📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Emma Wilder and Jacob Morgan did an amazing job bringing these characters and their story to life. Their portrayal of each character was spot on and they were believable in every role they played. Morgan grasped all sides of Fisher’s personality, from his jokester side to his more serious side that he rarely shows. Wilder did the same for Nathalie, grasped her all her strength too. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue and humor naturally and with ease. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.
"I've never asked this of anyone. Could you please give me the chance to fall in love with you?"
Perfectly You by Claudia Burgoa is the second book in the Luna Harbor series and is Fischer and Nathalie's story.
Fischer is the joker of the group and no one ever expected him to become serious. When Nathalie moves into Luna Harbor, Fischer has her in his sights and when a baby lands on his doorstep, the one he turns to is Nathalie hoping she will help him.
I fell in love with Fischer, Nathalie and Keaghan right away. I love that Fischer and Nathalie were able to see and show each other how much more they are than they felt they were themselves. Fischer, Nathalie and Keaghan are an entertaining and adorably loveable family.
My favourite Claudia Burgoa book to date and I am interested to see what happens in the next Luna Harbor installment.
Jacob Morgan and Emma Wilder did an amazing job bringing their respective characters and the entire story to life.
4.5 Maple Leafs for Perfectly You which contains ... mf, small town, billionaire, surprise baby, single dad, medical, rockstar, secret organization, slow burn, romantic comedy, and dual first-person point of view.
5 Star Review Perfectly You (Luna Harbor #2) by Claudia Burgoa
AUDIO REVIEW:
Listening to the narration by Jacob Morgan and Emma Wilder was a pleasure. Their voices are easy to listen to and they certainly brought the story and the characters to life for me. Jacob in particular really expressed the panic and insecurity Fish went through when he learnt he was a father.
Oh my heart! Perfectly You (Luna Harbor #2) is a beautifully written, entertaining small town romance and the storyline is so much more than I expected. Fisher Hannigan aka Fish has captured my heart and soul and is without a doubt my favorite Too Far From Grace band member.
Fish just surprised me at every turn as I never expected this fun loving jokester to become a single dad (cue in ovary explosion) and to fall in love. He’s so caring, swoon worthy and loving and reading the scenes with him taking care of the baby, melted my heart. I swear I had heart emojis over my eyes. But he certainly meets his match with Nathalie the feisty good doctor and she gives as good as she gets. She’s aware that Fish is a extremely flirtatious (especially with her) playboy and although she finds his behavior annoying, she can’t resist his sexy charm.
They’re opposites, yet kindred spirits who are most definitely meant for each other. And there’s definitely some sexual tension and scorching chemistry behind their bickering and banter. They had me on edge and I couldn’t wait for them to get down and dirty!
I was already consumed with this book and then Claudia Burgoa throws in a major plot twist that left me reeling and the character’s reaction crushed my soul. It made me love these characters and their book even more. The Luna Harbor series just keeps getting better and better and Perfectly You is a definite must read!
Fish.... Where to start with Fish.... He's that unpredictable secondary character that has appeared in both the Baker's Creek books and the first Luna Harbor story. I was curious to see how the set up of this book was going to play out and..... I loved it!
Nathalie is a fantastic offset to Fisher and I was rooting for them to take their teasing to the next level. Ms Burgoa did an excellent job of slowly peeling back the layers for both Fisher and Nathalie so that we can see them deal with and address the baggage they carry from childhood issues.
There are twists and turns to this story that I don't want to spoil, but I will say that the changes that these forced in the characters brought to light the best parts of them and I loved seeing how they adapted.
My one word of caution relates to the size of the secondary cast. Because this book takes place in Luna Harbor we see the group siblings who grew up in the town along with the group surrounding the band Too Far From Grace. That turns into a lot of people to keep track of - even tangentally. Ms Burgoa does a solid job of focusing on the core relationship, but I still found myself thinking "who is that?" when certain secondary names appeared and trying to remember their conenction to the group.
Overall, this is fun book with a huge sweet side that I very much enjoyed. I am curious to see who pops up in Luna Harbor next!
Nathalie is tired of her life where her parents try to control everything. Running away to Luna Harbor to maybe take over her late grandfather's practice is the best escape plan she has, and she uses it. It's just that a semi-retired/on hiatus rockstar keeps flirting with her, determined to make her... stay?
Fisher has unresolved issues from his childhood, too, and he's determined not to fall too deeply for anyone. But he can't get the pretty new doctor out of his mind, and when she helps him out when he becomes a dad unexpectedly, his heart tumbles right out of his chest into her hands forever. But will the couple manage to fight against - and win - the ghosts of their pasts?
This was a cute, sweet and romantic story. You can't help but love the way Fisher and Nat bond. Fish is irritating, charming, a prankster, but yet a sweetheart underneath the layers he wears to hide his true nature. Nat is more impulsive, but a bit insecure as her family has always made her feel invisible. Though she tries to avoid Fisher, he and little baby Keagh worm their way into her heart and she is hard-pressed to move them out.
I recommend this read. You'll smile, roll your eyes at the antics, but swoon at all the sweetness.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
Ms. Burgoa takes us back to the small town of Luna Harbor in her newest story.
This is Fisher and Nathalie's story.
Both are a bit broken, but they are kindred souls.
Fisher comes hard and heavy at Dr. Hottie a.k.a. Nathalie and she will have absolutely none of that. I loved how she stood her ground.
I was swooning hard for Fisher and his antics when it came to Nathalie. I always fall hard for Ms. Burgoa's heroes. And Fisher is no exception. He thinks he knows what he wants with Nat, but then he starts to realize he wants more, he wants everything.
I was moved by the way their relationship bloomed, I was moved when the both of them realized they were perfect for each other. They both had rough edges that only them can smooth out.
There is unexpected twists and surprises that will grab you, I am always excited to have that "Aha!" moment when reading.
This series is fantastic and each story is better and better! I love the world that Ms. Burgoa has created.
This book is set in Luna Harbour, we get to see some of the characters of past books. This book is about Fisher another member of the band Too Far From Grace. It was a lovely book, filled with goosebumps, laughter and there’s even some tears. The band members are still helping the town and we get snippets of what they’re doing to help. Natalie moved into the town as the new Dr and from when Fisher sees her he can’t help be attracted to her. However, she doesn’t fall for his constant flirting and keeps him at arms length. Until Fisher is given an unexpected surprise and she can’t help but fall for him.
The end of the book felt a bit rushed, the begging sets the story and builds on it at length, but then lots happen towards the end and then the book feels it ends too quickly. But saying that I did enjoy Fisher and Natalie’s story. This was the last book in the series and I’ve love to know more of what happens to the town and the other band members.
Having read Ms.Burgoa's work many times before i always look so forward to picking up a new book of hers! Being new to the Luna Harbor series i couldn't wait to dive in! The synopsis for this one caught my eye and i knew i had to read it next. I enjoyed this story!
Nathalie and Fisher's journey got my attention from the start! When life throws Fisher a curveball, he needs Nathalie's help. I really liked getting to see how these two would tackle things. I really enjoyed the chemistry between these two.
With Perfectly You, Ms.Burgoa has created such a good read! I am looking forward to diving back into the Luna Harbor world with the first installment, Finally You and the third installment, Always You!
