Cursed, they must hunt down the witch responsible, or walk the earth alone.
Thirty years ago, the men of my pack were cursed, doomed to never find our fated mate. With no females born into our ranks, there was no one left to breed with. We’d be the last of our kind unless we could figure a way to break the evil inflicted upon us.
But the only one capable of that is the witch who laid the curse. My beta and I set off in search of the one who ruined our lives. Except, no one’s ever heard of her, and every other witch we encounter hates our kind.
Until we hunt down a coven in the north. One with a red-haired beauty who makes our hearts pound and our wolves cry to the moon in ecstasy. How could she be ours? I never imagined sharing a woman. Not with my beta and definitely not with the warlock who claims she’s his birth rite.

3.75 What is this good? Not really. Was it entertaining? Yes. Was it well written? no. Did I enjoy my time reading it? yes.
Honestly, there is no world building so I was confused because I thought there was no like modern day stuff and then there was but it’s only like 100 pages so it’s fine. There’s like hardly a plot. Its also very instalove which is kind of annoying. It did end with the funniest cliffhanger and note I’m kind of excited to read on. Oh the spicy scenes are not that good to be honest.
A pack on the brink of extinction Xander sets out with his Beta Kyle to find a witch who cursed their Pack over 30 years ago. Xander and Kyle was in for an adventure of a lifetime. With a pack with only male born wolves Xander and Kyle dreamed of the day they find their fated mate. Never in a million years did they imagine being fated to the same woman; and not just any woman.....A Witch.
Monique longs for the day when she can escape her magical realm and see the world beyond the veil. To be mated to two powerful wolf shifters is far beyond her wildest dreams. But Monique is keeping a secret. With the High Warlock working to find a way to reverse the curse on Xander and Kyle's Pack something about the entire ordeal has Monique feeling unsure and out of sorts. What is the Warlock's end game?
A story full of Secrets, Betrayal, Hope, Angst and Alot of steam. "Kingdom of Wolves" is a quick read that ends on a shocking Cliffhanger.
Kingdom of Wolves kicks off Amelia Shaw's Wicked Wolves series. This is a multiple perspective slow burn reverse harem that is filled with wolves and magic. There's a cursed pack, a hidden village, and danger lingers in the air.
Monique is the fmc and she's a witch. Monique is young and very innocent but has an open mind and heart, and an adventurous spirit. Monique is mature for her age and is just starting to trust her instincts about things. As for her love interests, Xander is the potential alpha heir to his pack and Kyle is his beta. I am sort of flatline when it comes to Xander, his personality doesn't mesh well with mine but he might grow on me. Kyle on the other hand I like. The beta is thoughtful, caring, responsible, and loyal, truth be told he might make a better alpha.
The plot was light but interesting, there weren't any low points however there were a few weird moments that didn't quite fit with the story but overall the story was good. The pack has been keeping secrets and with all the issues they've been having it wasn't the smartest decision. Everything is steeming from the curse. There's a curse on the pack and something about the origins of it doesn't sit right with me, I have a feeling there's more to the story than anyone realizes.
Then there are the witches, there's something weird going on with the witch's village, something is just off. Plus not to mention the high warlock is giving off major evil villain vibes, he's gonna be a problem I just know it. The magic was awesome. I love Monique's magic, it is like the kind of magic you think about as a kid, you know the infinite magic that you can conjure with just a wave of the hand. Don't get me wrong I like the complex stuff but this fits with a light read like this, it was perfect.
Kingdom of Wolves is a fun, light, and quick read, that I really enjoyed. The story ended in a shocking moment that had me both worried and laughing. I can't wait to see how the second book kicks off. Up next is Reign of Wolves.
Was the book good? No not really Was the writing good? No Was it entertaining enough that it read it anyway? Yes Was the smut good? No. Would I recommend the book? No.
This is VERY instalove (icky amounts of instalove) with no real world building and a mediocre plot. If this had been more thought out it might’ve been better because the storyline has potential to be great if done properly. This felt very thrown together haphazardly and like “oh I’m just gonna do it who cares if it’s right”. I get fated mates and how they typically have some level of instalove to them but come on, at least let them get to know each other a little bit first?
I will say the cliff hanger was hilarious, although also a bit weird.
Also can we PLEASE stop with the whole glorifying virginity thing?
Oh, and the “foul smelling human restroom” what kind of restroom did the shifters use in wolf form? Or are they just better cleaners?
One more thing- vaginas do not taste like peaches, honey, or “heaven”. Let’s stop with that too while we’re at it.
Xander and Kyle belong to a pack of werewolves that haven't had a female birth in years. After finding out that their pack might have been cursed by a witch because of their aloof leader, they go in search of the witch in the hopes she will lift the curse.
Instead they come across Monique, a witch who lives in the village where the witch they are looking for used to live. Monique takes them to the high warlock and things go bad from that point on. The high warlock is the sister of the witch they are looking for and he agrees to help them if they give him some of their blood because his sister is nowhere to be found. I knew right away that was a bad idea. The high warlock gave villain/evil vibes right away. The high warlock has ulterior motives for just about everything he does so Monique knows she has to get these new guys out of her village and away from him.
Xander and Kyle both know soon after meeting Monique that she is their mate. They don't know how they're going to share being her mate but they will have to find a way if she will have them both. She wants to get away from her village anyway so it really doesn't take much convincing to get her to agree. But all three of them are in danger and they'll have to find a way out of it.
This book was so boring in sections that it took me a while to read because I kept putting it down. Then it ended on a cliffhanger which was really disappointing.
Because the pack Alpha has no heirs, and Xander’s father is the Beta, it is probable that Xander will be the alpha heir of his pack; Kyle is his beta (and the more likable of the two). Mikaela, the last female in their pack, born before the curse, just had her last son and having another child would kill her. With the 100th male baby born and the lack of females, this becomes a serious issue. Xander and Kyle are tasked with finding the witch who cursed their pack so that no female children would survive birth. They had to make her lift the curse or their pack would die out. Rumor said the Alpha had caused the curse to be put on them 30 years ago, so Xander and Kyle sought him out to get the truth. Then they set out to find the witch.
On there journey, they fine a beautiful red-haired witch and both their wolves recognize her as their mate. But she is promised to a warlock. It was awkward enough as Xander considered sharing the female with his Beta. But with a warlock as well? Can Monique help them break the curse? Will she go back to the pack with them and accept the fact that they are her mates?
This is an interesting story. It ends on a cliffhanger. I enjoyed every second of it. I can’t wait to read the next story in this series.
Xander and Kyle are friends and wolf shifters. Their pack has been only able to produce males and they recently discovered that the rumor of them being cursed may not be a rumor after all. They decide to go find the witch and talk with her. They don’t expect to find their fated mate or that they share the same mate. Monique was out in the woods when the two shifters meet her. She takes them back to her coven. She is drawn to them. Will they be able to convince her to give them a chance?

Fuck me! fuck me sideways! This novel was good but World building was on the low end and same with personalities to the characters.
We have a curse on a local wolf pack, after 100 males born and no females at all. Xander and his beta Kyle was going to do something about it. After finding a coven of witches up north, and finding their mate and yes i mean their mate; Monique is a witch.
Then we have her warlock soon ot be husband.... that stops them from making love.
Monique... love the name but fell flat to me. She had plenty of time to say something about her been engaged. But nothing! I will read book 2 and 3 but... I'm might not like it.
The story is pretty interesting, I would say it might be better aimed at teen to young adults but its not bad as a fantasy read. I am however not So hooked I really want to read the next book... I may eventually read it but as its almost too nice for my tastes. I like a bit more intriguing and faster paced adventure. This is interesting and it has some adventure but well they stayed too in the veil for me... I' d have liked it if the warlock sent the girl with them searching for the witch... While he messed with their blood samples. It also strange she never tells the wolf shifters about the Warlock mate.
I found this book enjoyable. However, the world building was limited. The book starts with a wolf pack being unable to breed female wolves and, after a secret, is revealed to two members of the pack leave to remove the curse on their pack.
The two MMC stumble across a Witch who takes their breath away. Obviously, this witch is their fated mate. The desire between them is well done, and just when we thought the desire would become sexual we get face slapped with a cliffhanger and a potential fourth member to this reverse harem.
I gave this book a 3.25 star rating, with a one chilli spice.
An exciting beginning to the Wicked Wolves series! Steamy, easy reading, reverse harem, with wonderful characters. Xander and Kyle go on a journey to remove a curse on their pack. In their search they come across the witch Monique, who they realize is their fated mate. Will they be able to break the curse?

This was an interesting story and I enjoyed the characters. With a curse on their pack, Xander and Kyle must find the witch and make her lift the curse but something with the High Warlock is off. How this book ended I need too see what will happen next.
I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book
This book had started off with the focus on the world building and on the current situation. At first I was a bit skeptical on how it will proceed, and wether or not I will find it enjoyable, but it certainly picked up the pace and was intriguing.
I was aiming to read a lot of smut when I started this series, but unfortunately, we don't actually get any actual smut for a while in this story.
I am glad the blurb said this stops in the middle of something and that I was prepared. Otherwise I would have been like what ... I liked the story it was very interesting but short and was just getting hot and in the thick of things. This feels like a part 1 not a book 1. A solid 3.5 for sure I rounded up. It also wasn't as hot as I was expecting.
From start to finish this book was poorly written. No world building. The FMC is infantilized to a disgusting degree. The MMCs are absolutely stupid. The head Warlock is clearly a bad dude and has no interest in actually helping them. The cliffhanger was the cherry on top of this ridiculous book. I will not be continuing this series.
O.M.G...That cliffhanger is what I expected but at the same time, not to be the end of book 1! It's soooo good! I absolutely love this story. Shifters, witches and curses, a magnificent series in the making
This is a fantastic read for fans of PNR, a mix blend of wolf shifters, witches, and curses. Xander and Kyle set out to try and save their pack, but end up finding themselves sharing a fated mate from an unexpected background. Fast paced and intense, I cannot wait for more from these characters.
Short and spicy read that will take you on a fast paced and interesting ride. Love the cliff hanger! The POV could use a lot more details moving from one scene to another. I will be reading the rest of the series.
I really enjoyed this book and naturally the cliffhanger. My main complaints about the book is the lack of world building. Things are said in passing but nothing really clear. I enjoyed the characters and the spice was lite but still good.
This was so much out of my comfort zone but wanted to give reverse harem another chance (the one i read years ago kinda turned me off them) but I enjoyed this one and the cliffhanger made me laugh for some reason 😂 will probably continue the series at some point
This book was mysterious. Keeps you guessing and wanting more. Major cliff-hanger at the end. I cannot wait to read more of what happens. The high warlock is suspicions so hopefully in the Next book we find out the secrets.
Shifters and witches, curses, fated mates and a problem. Multiple POVs Some yummy shifters A sweet and innocent witch A head warlock that is giving off bad vibes and oh the cliffhanger was a surprise.
Unsure how I feel about this one. Shaw is a new author and I liked the premise of the story synopsis with the introduction of witches into the wolf storyline but there was little to no character development and thus far the story has been flat I can't say that I'm going to continue the series.
It wouldn’t let me leave a review after the end of the story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this first of 3 books series. Monique, Xander and Kyle seemed to hit it off really fast and I loved it. It was hilarious when Michael showed up and exchanged words. 😂😂😂😂 On to book #2. 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊
3 stars very predictable and a little too and still lovey for me. I was prepared to suspend a little belief because the trio were fated mates. It just didn't work for me. Too much unnecessary angst.
