Disturbing changes in her seven-year-old daughter Livvie's behavior sends newly divorced casting director Cornelia Fuller to psychiatrist Dave Nilssen, from whom she receives wise advice and loving support and who uncovers Livvie's heartbreaking secret
Got this book for a quarter at a library clearance book sale. It was somewhat a psychological suspense read that got slow and boring in a few spots, but was a better book than many I have tried to read lately. I could figure out pretty much who was the bad person in the end but was not 100% sure and there was a slight twist with the ending that was surprising. Not the best book, but at least I looked forward to reading it.
Predictable plot and a few characters who should be thrown out of their profession, including a psychiatrist who sleeps with his patient and a divorce lawyer who sleeps with his clients (and then assaults her). Not a fan but the characters of Livvy and Margaret Rose made it worth the read.
