Keys
I was emancipated as a teenager, after blackmailing the father who never wanted me, and being kicked out of the house by my mother, who loved him.
As a member of a female motorcycle club, the brilliant mind behind a few of our businesses, and the woman with all the answers – thanks to my computer skills – you would think I finally had it all
figured out. I didn’t.
I had zero clue how to let someone into my heart.
Then along came Quickshot.
He was perfect, but maybe not perfect for me.

Quickshot
I knew from the moment I first saw Keys that we were meant to be, and I wasn’t a sucker who believed in soulmates, romance, fate, or any other bullshit love-at-first sight scenario.
Thanks to growing up in the club life, I didn’t think true love or real, lasting relationships were the fairytale everyone made them out to be.
Still, I knew that not having her in my life meant having my heart beat out of rhythm for the rest of my existence.
She gave me a shot, despite her history.
I blew it.

Watching her move on killed me.

I let her go until her past came calling.
Then, it was time to step back in and claim what was mine.

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.
=======================

He’d dated Mom, cheated on her with his now-wife, and then married the wife while still screwing around with Mom on the regular.

It was brought on more by the loathing I had for my father, who was here, cheating on his wife. It was weird to think of him that way though, because he had been with my mom the longest. Technically, the wife was the other woman, she had just been legitimized through marriage.

I would never allow myself to end up a slave to a man’s desires the way my mother had.

Keys chortled before laying one of her hands over mine. “Quickshot, I like you. In another life, we could have been friends, maybe even more. In this life, we fuck. That’s it. End of story.”

“She was blind to the fact that he was disgusted to have had a daughter with her. If anyone found out about me, everything he had worked so hard for would be ruined. He brainwashed my mom into believing that he loved her and would leave his wife for her eventually, when she was no longer useful to his career.”

“What in the hell is wrong with you? Are you gay or something?” Aubrey snapped, surprising us both. Her hand immediately flew up to cover her own surprised expression. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. “I didn’t mean that.”

Aubrey: Hope you made it back okay.
Though I had been skittish about being with her before, the two weeks away did offer me a little clarity. Either I had to really give shit with her a try, drop her and move on to someone else, or decide to become a monk for the short term. Keys stopped being an option, especially after what Ghost had to say when he reported back. Keys was pissed. Refused to even speak to him when he came to their clubhouse to talk to Angel Girl.

The front door opening drew my attention from Aubrey as we watched Angel Girl, Keys, and Tash enter. Aubrey’s spine stiffened notably and she grabbed my arm hard enough that I felt her nails digging in. She turned and planted another kiss on my mouth, claiming me in front of the other women. There was no other way to explain what she had just done.

Aubrey didn’t even try to hide that she was seething mad. “I thought they had their own club? Why are they here?”
“They’re here because Sweet and Angel Girl are together,” I started to explain before she interrupted me.
“I don’t know what he sees in that nasty little cunt.”

Suddenly, I wished like hell that I had never looked. The asshole was getting sucked off, right there, in plain sight for all to see. The man’s head was thrown back, eyes closed, as his hands were in some woman’s brassy hair, pulling tight as she bobbed her head up and down in Quick’s lap.

“Well, I certainly wasn’t okay with sitting around watching assholes get blow jobs from nasty club whores, so yeah, that bad.” Paul wrinkled his nose in disgust.

“No offense, but if a man doesn’t want to do a thing, I find that they have no problem stopping themselves. Unless you drugged him each time you interacted, I think its safe to say, that no matter your intentions or reasons, he acted on his own accord.”

“My precious, beautiful, keyboard warrior, anything that makes your life easier means I can slip between those gorgeous thighs of yours more often than not.” The dimpled grin that bloomed across his face and made his whiskey brown eyes twinkle caused me to laugh

“Thank you,” Jack whispered into her ear, though it was just loud enough I was able to hear too since Keys and I were connected. The man let go of his daughter-in-law and started to reach out a hand for mine, but then noticed the grip that Keys had on me. Instead, he offered me a tight smile and the tip of his head. There was understanding in his eyes, a realization that this strong woman beside me had been damaged by whatever bullshit her parents put her through and there was no way in hell I would let her go now. (==>wouldn't she be a stepdaughter?)

Tried so hard!
This book (the part I've read happen before book 2) so the time line is very confusing.
The MC weren't the main disappointment, the h is fine, the H an asshole that thinks the right things but ends up doing all the wrong stupid things!

What really put me off was the couple from book one that are still the worst and other side stories that were terrible (Steel sister story is so yucky!!)

Could have been good if not for the heroine totally over-reacting to a situation of her own making, then refusing to listen to an explanation. I love this author's writing, but her characters are definitely flawed. Couples I rooted for in previous books, I want to punch in the face now.

4.5 Stars! I couldn't make it to my email fast enough when I heard there was a chance to get my hands on Keys early. I've adored Christine Michelle's writing from the moment I picked up my first book by her, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Summary:
Keys has finally found a place she belongs with the S.H.E. MC. With the way she grew up, Keys doesn’t trust in a lot of people. She can pretty much count the number of people she trusts on one hand; those being her MC sisters. She does trust wholeheartedly in information, though. Information has never failed her, whereas people always do. After blackmailing a father who never wanted her and being disowned by the mother who loved him, Keys went on to use her brilliant mind and quick fingers to benefit her club and the people they helped. Too bad she could never figure out how to help herself by letting someone into her heart. There’s nothing she wishes for more than that after meeting Quickshot. After growing up in the club life and watching his parents duke it out in one form or another for the majority of his life, Quickshot isn’t the type of man to believe in romance, love at first sight, or even soulmates. But when he lays eyes on Keys, he just knows they are meant to be together. Just when he’s convinced her to give him a shot, he blows it. Watching her move on is a soul-deep pain he can’t quite hide, and getting lost in someone else is an impossibility. Keys is the only one he wants. When her past rears its ugly head, Quickshot will have only one chance to make things right and show her just how good they can be together. But Keys’s life is in danger. With the fear of his future with her being stolen, can Quickshot help her bury her past for good before the villains get their hands on her?

I fell hard for the women of S.H.E. the moment I opened Angel Girl, and while I've had small issues about each book, that love has never really wavered. Keys always seemed uber cool and intelligent and I couldn't wait to get to know her better. She turned out to be way cooler than I could have ever anticipated. Not only was she a genius at computers (something I would have liked to see more of), a solid sister to her fellow MC members, and pretty laid back, but she was also strong, brave, stubborn, and cool under fire. I loved everything about her. Did I think her stubbornness contributed to her almost missing out on the best thing to happen to her? Yes. But I also understood her need to protect any more of herself from getting damaged. Quickshot won my heart when he horsed around with Angel Girl in her book. How can you ignore a man who is strong, hot, smart, loyal and lets his adopted sister humiliate him in front of the vast majority of his brothers? You just can’t. He also wasn’t given very good role models in the parental department, so his reservations on relationships and how they progress were understandable, too. As a couple, I loved Keys and Quickshot together. They had such strong chemistry and understood each other on a deeper level. I was frustrated when they couldn’t make it work, but I do feel that the blame can be put squarely on both their heads. Quick messed up, but Keys was also too stubborn and unforgiving which just led to more mistakes from the both of them. In the end, I enjoyed how Keys and Quickshot’s story played out. Christine is an excellent storyteller and is really good at having her characters go through all the hard situations to make it out stronger on the other side. The non-romance storyline was good, too. It actually answered some questions I had after reading Jojo’s book. It definitely opened Keys’s eyes about some things from her past. I just wish we got a bit more from Quickshot’s family and life. Even though we heard a lot about his parents, I would have liked to have seen more on the page about them since they had such a big impact on Quick and his relationship thinking. My only other issue is one I had in Jojo’s book as well. Angel Girl and Sweet. I loved them in their book. They really fell in my estimation in Jojo’s book, so I was worried about what we’d see during Keys’s book. Sweet did not make a good impression. He just reminded me of how he was when he first reconnected with Angel Girl. In Jojo’s book, I honestly did not like Angel Girl. I didn’t see her as a good leader or a very observant and supportive friend. I’m happy to say she was much better in Keys’s book with only a couple of incidents where she almost went off the rails. I’m so happy to be back in the S.H.E. world. Keys was a fantastic read and I’m looking forward to getting more from the women in this series. ♡

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I have since purchased a copy of Keys for my personal library.

Though I love everything this author writes (Redemption Weather), my heart is firmly planted in the S.H.E. camp, and this book went above and beyond what I had expected.
Did Quickshot mess up; hell yeah he did, but this time Keys was, in my opinion, partly responsible and hard on him which led to yet more bad decision making on his behalf. Running alongside their storyline is that of Sweet and Angel Girl, so we also have some wonderful reminders of what type of person Sweet was when we first met him, and how their relationship played out – I’d advise no sharp objects while reading this book!
When Key's past rears its ugly head and threatens her not only personally, but as part of the club she loves, that’s when things get really down and dirty. Keys is one person you do not want to mess with. For me she’s the bad ass of the whole MC so far, and I love her.
I cannot say how much I’ve missed reading this author’s words. It’s great to have her back, and in such brilliant form.

Keys has had a horrible upbringing. There are things that she finds out later that she never knew. But because of those issues from childhood she has a hard time believing love and relationships are real. Quickshot’s parents weren’t the best role models for him either and he too has a hard time believing in them. Fate brings them together but yet it also rips them apart because of insecurities and unable to discuss things with each other. Series of events happen that bring more things to light for Keys but will they be able to fix their relationship in the meantime? A definite must read. This author is so good at tying all these parts together to keep you right in the story waiting for more.

Love everything Christine Michelle and this one did not disappoint. I was so ready for this book. I loved the characters Keys and Quickshot. Loved the storyline but a little confused on timeline's and events taking place. It's been awhile since I've read JoJo and Angel's books but some of it confused me. Just saying.....sorry. It didn't take away from the story though. Love how everything is unfolding and I can't wait for Legs to get her book and her story.
Do I recommend this book and series? YES, I do for sure.
Keep them coming and I'll be reading them.

Long awaited much appreciated

Great addition to this series. Each book further develops the characters that make up this world. This is Quick and Keys story. Just as in life people who should have had their back show the only people they care about are themselves. Though this pair may well deserve the visit from karma given their lack of support to their supposed best friends in Jojo. Looking forward to Mimi and beyond.

Keys & Quickshot

Keys and Quickshot could be perfect for one another, but Quickshot keeps messing things up between them and Keys has had a hand in that happening. The banter an fun side of these two is funny. When everything starts going south for Keys Quickshot is by her side through it all and their relationship quickly changes and I for one was happy for them. This book has all the feels andI couldn't stop reading!

Keys

Keys is stronger than I even imagined. It was amazing to see all the hurdles she had to jump just to survive and come out on the other side. Keys truly is the backbone to the S.H.E. I was really surprised at what an amazing man Quickshot turned out to be, he will be one of my favourite MC men. This was a MUST READ! book. I'm looking forward to more in this series.

MC Romance

Christine Michelle never disappoints! Strong female characters who have taken life by the horns, paired with alpha males is sizzling and satisfying. Lots of emotion and heart give the characters depth and the social dysfunction of human trafficking gives the story some hard truths.

If you love Dysfunctional people, look no further than Sweet and Angel Girl! But Wait….there’s Keys and Quickshot making sure they’re more dysfunctional! This story is all over the place because these two are all over the place. The fact you can’t reach into the book and slap them both upside the head is disappointing. Otherwise, I loved this story. I can’t wait for more!!

Quickshot and Keys

Another really great story and it also shows the reality of the world as well, when it comes to human trafficking and sadly Keys mother had gotten caught up in that at a young age, by an evil excuse for a human being, portraying himself as a good Senator, then Governor of his state. Several twists and turns throughout. Happy reading.

Loved this series

I absolutely loved this series. A few names I recognized from reading Aces High MC Dakotas. I love Christine's series and will continue to read the other series as I can afford them.

For an all female MC I was surprised there wasn't drama between the FMCs, absolutely loved it!

What a great plot

A great group of women come together and form the SHE MC. Each character has a skill set that together make a formidable club. Keys let's us take a look into the member who has shut herself off from relationships. Warning her story is hard but so worth it.

Do Keys and Quickshot believe in love ? Every one has a past that effects their lives and how they love. But will Keys past keep her from seeing what is front of her? I love reading Keys story and finding out about her background.

Totally out there in respects to reality in the storyline but have to love a book with strong female characters. Too many sex scenes for my liking but that's just personal preference

Keys & Quickshot- "keyboard warriors" - are probably my fave story! I feel like I should have read this (SHE #3) before JoJo's story (SHE #2) with the timeframe, but it didn't interfere with the story!
