This is an excellent book; one that every Christian should have in their library! Each section addresses a different claim of the pro-choice movement and each chapter is written by a leading professional, advocate, or ministry leader in that particular area. Written with excellence, clarity, and compassion, this book will give you the facts and information needed to vocally and tangibly fight for the life of the unborn.

This book is very mixed. There are places where the authors argue energetically and with precision, but there are other places that are much weaker. Some of the authors some of the time manage to rise above the cliches of the abortion debate, but there are also times that they fall into those same old ruts.
You feel that back-and-forth right from the beginning. The foreword strikes a very different tone than the title. The title suggests a deliberate attempt to enter into good-faith discussion with the proponents of abortion. The foreword suggests that the book is an attack on the pro-choice position and that the authors are attempting to give their readers ammunition for their fight (if you've ever seen those terrible evangelism guides that say, "when they say this, say this," that's what I was afraid the book was going to be). The text of the book vascillates between the two, sometimes even within the same chapter.
Overall, it's not a home run, but it's definitely worth the read. I learned a lot from it and it exposed me to much more nuanced presentations of pro-life arguments than I had seen yet. Sometimes, the authors fall into reckless snark, but sometimes, they teach important things in nuanced ways.

It is not just a Christian viewpoint! It takes makes arguments from experts in philosophy, biology, law, medical (MD, OBGYN, etc), social politics, and so many more!
This is THE best book for the pro-life argument that I have ever read/heard.
It handles all pro-abortion claims with compassion and kindness. It gives you a full view of what they believe with each claim and evidence that overwhelming refutes each belief. There needs to be polite dialog, and this presents the facts about the true dangers of abortion.
If you are pro-life, on the fence of abortion, or even pro-choice, I urge you to read this book! 💞

I have read numerous books related to the topic of abortion and the pro-life community. This is one of the best!! Containing essays from men and women of all walks of life, you get a picture of what the pro-life movement entails. This book isn't written just for the pro-life community, the pro-choice community and others on the fence can certainly read this book and come away with more knowledge of why pro-lifers feel the way they do; maybe even come away with a changed opinion! An excellent resource to turn to when discussing this hot button issue!

Written by women on the front line. Both stirring and heartbreaking testimonies.
