Wow! This is the 2nd story in the Storm series and I didn’t think that I could dislike a character even more than I did in the first book. In the last book, Storm was another person and ended up beating Descent and did not hear her say the safe words (numerous times). Storm has completely lost it and really needs some help with his childhood issues. Again, I wish Descent would grow a little backbone and stand up for herself and not give in when she finds out some of Storm’s secrets. Storm basically drives Descent into Damon’s arms and from there he just basically gets worse. I’m not a fan of Damon’s either – although he hasn’t done anything as heinous as Storm has, I believe he took advantage of Descent’s emotional state and used her past to draw her in.

This book is very, very emotional. Brace yourself for a rollercoaster ride! You have your ups and downs, deception, betrayal, abuse, and realization that you can’t always help everyone. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

👍🏻 Reading a Dark Romance is never easy, especially if it has trauma and triggers! I was left heartbroken and drained after reading Storm Damage.

The story has a vicious cycle of hurt, pain, suffering, trauma, cheating, rape, abuse. The book is definitely not for the weak hearted.


👍🏻 Author Pandora, I felt, poured everything into this book, the plot and story, undoubtedly dark, but well written. She delivered what she promised- "An Obsessive Billionaire Dark Romance". This is my second book by the author and I am definitely planning to check out more of her work!

👍🏻 Descent is left broken and shattered to pieces. What she thought would be the beginning of her happily-ever-after turned out to be a nightmare.💔

Damon holds her and helps her piece herself bit by bit, piece by piece. He is the only thing protecting her and keeping her afloat. He is the ultimate knight in shining armour! 😍

Storm needs to sort himself or he will lose everything he cherishes in his wretched twisted way...

The end of this book will definitely break your heart and make you weep for Descent... but its not the end.

Wow, this book will have you on an emotional rollercoaster! Storm loses control with Descent again, and despite the heartbreak, she knows she has to walk away as she can’t forgive him for what he has done. She goes to her friend Damon’s after the attack, and whilst they have always had a friendship she knows he has wanted more, and very quickly she starts to realise Damon is exactly who she needs and wants. However Storm is determined not to give up on Descent, but when his betrayal catches up with him, he starts to lose everything around him. A fantastic book with so much heartbreak, you won’t want to leave this book down. Fantastic character, amazing storyline and a massive cliffhanger, I really can’t wait for the next book!

I didn't know this was in the middle of a series when I got it. I'm kind of glad I didn't read the first one. I don't like books with cheating. I've never read a book about a man obsessed who also cheated. I didn't care for that aspect of him. Storm is a very damaged man. I had a hard time reading his crazy thought process. I really felt for Descent. You could feel her hurt coming out of the pages. I really loved Damon though. He was her constant and someone she could rely on. What a cliffhanger this ends on! I really hope to see Descent and Damon have a HEA in the next one. I hope to see Storm really get help.

I hate Storm but yet I am rooting for him. The man is so mercurial. I want him to get his cr@p straightened out so he can be with Descent. This book continues the emotional rollercoaster. I mean Storm is true to his name. The man has his issues and hope that by the end he is able to put Descent first. And away from Damon. I do not trust him.

Storm's issues make it difficult to like the man. As his demons are further revealed, it is important that he is able to learn to love. Descent is the perfect woman for him. Pandora Storm has me on the edge of my seat, turning the pages. What a cliffhanger...bring on book 3. QUICKLY!

Moving on to part 2 of this series, we continue the story of Descent and Storm.
Still wonderfully dark and murky and it continues to hold your attention.
Storm is still a slick bear dragging Descent through hell.
Despite that, the blistering passion and chemistry between them is still there.

Part 2 is also an emotional rollercoaster that keeps your attention.
Because it is a dark series . it is wise to read the books from part 1. If you start with the other parts or with part 2 you are missing quite a lot and it can be difficult to find out why there are so many twists in the story.
So it is recommended to start with part one.

This is the second book in the series and it was so good. Please note that this is not a standalone and you really need to read book one first. Having said that, this is the continuation of Storm and Descent. It was an emotional roller coaster to say the least after everything that happened. I felt so sorry for Descent after everything Storm put her through. I didn't agree with her decisions though. also like that Damon was showcased more in this story. I’m so looking forward to reading the next book.

Descent and Storm part ways after he showed his dominate side to the extreme, leaving the path for Damon to make his way with Descent. but this emotional steamy roller-coaster ride isn't over yet! the story holds your attention through every depraved moment and you crave more of every moment! book 2 in the series book 1 is a must! and i cant wait for book 3! that cliffhanger is the cliffhange to end them all!

What an emotional experience 😢 Storm has driven Descent away, straight into Damon's arms. While Storm has done some heinous things he is hoping for another chance with Descent. As he follows her, she is determined to stay away from him. Storm's secrets are revealed and on the work front his company is in caos. The cliffhanger was enough to have me wishing for the next book now. This story is so damn good and the writing outstanding.

The nightmare continues. Storm and Descent are both dealing with major trauma. She by his hand and his by finding out what he did to her and also losing his business power. The writing is well done, with good flow and powerful details. It is a bit too strong for me though and the ending left me shaken. That is how strong the visuals are here.

The second book in the series continues Storm and Descent's story. I was pulled in from page one and held fast right to the end. It's a dark,intense story with a sizzling hot chemistry and is an emotional read. It's well written with perfectly painted scenes and is a terrific read.

Miss titled

This book should have been titled as an abusive billionaire not obsessive. I tried to read it but the whole book was just pages and pages of beatings and abuse. This book is not even a dark romance it's certainly wasn't my cup of tea
