I feel like I’m being generous giving this 3stars. My main problem was at the beginning with so many names I felt I was being introduced to everyone in town. I was three quarters of the way through when I realized the naming-jinx had probably lost its hold, and it became much easier to tell the characters apart. #2 the writing seemed like it might have been her first book, too much useless conversation. But...the writing Arghhh! At least I’m through it.

Oh, lord!!! Make up your mind, Lily. Playing the field is a high school game. Go for Marc and be done with it. The ghost aspect is still annoying. Leave it out and the stories would be better.
I am a quilt maker myself and have really enjoyed the mysteries and romances and hearing about the area as I am from Iowa and never realized there were wineries in Missouri. It is fun to hear about older quilts and the stories behind them and I have also read about quilt patterns I have never heard of before. It is fun then to research/look them up to see if I would add them to my bucket list of quilts to make. On now to next one. Don't want them to end!!!
This series is truly a great read. I love the main character Lily and the various quilt blocks mentioned. The author is not pushy in the methods of quilting or storage. She gives some care instructions along the way through the various paths her story takes us. I love these stories.
Perhaps I have become older than realized. I read all of Ann's quilt books (The Basement Quilt, et al) and found them interesting and fun. This book seemed to drag on...and I was disappointed that Lily didn't go for Anthony! My romantic heart!
I learned about Missouri Wine country and a lot (too much!) about the eateries there. I think, besides collecting quilts, eating out is Lily's favorite pastime!
I am totally engrossed in this series set in the wine country of Missouri! Terrific character development and storylines. Now on to The Christmas Wish Quilt.
