This started odd great and quickly captured my interest, but it just sort of fell flat. There are some pretty unbelievable aspects of the story, like a girl who had led a seemingly great life just up and leaves it because when she finally gets the nerve to tell the boy she loves how she feels, he doesn't reciprocate. She leaves her family, who she loves and has treated her well, and skips out on a scholarship to a great school (where she would have left home anyways to go to...) and somehow even though she is barely legal and just graduated high school, she manages to live on her own and become a trainer for a WNBA team? Then is naive enough to not know she is several months pregnant with triplets until her friend points it out because she's showing?
As I said, this started off pretty good and was interesting enough that I stuck it out, but by the end I was skimming and skipping pages.
This is Wyatt and Sierra's story. This friends to lovers, second chance story takes us through the ups and downs of their relationship where we suffer and rejoice with them as they find their way to one another after being secretly in love with each other since they were young. Since nothing worth having is easy, these two have a few hurdles to overcome and some harder obstacles to surpass, but they never give up. This easy-to-read page-turner has amazing characters and pulls us in, grabbing our attention from the first paragraph. I recommend this book. I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
This had some very good parts and some very unbelievable parts .. First I really can't stand the miscommunication aspect of the book and the fact that when Wyatt lied to Sierra , her first response was to run away from home ..is bull when she left not only him but her family was just dumb .The fact that Wyatt married the women he accidentally got pregnant when he wasn't in love with her to give his daughter a stable life was bull.. If he didn't love her what kind of life was that going to be for his daughter .. And we are lead to believe that when Sierra ran she gave up a scholarship and still landed a job with the WNBA and was able to support herself when she just graduated from high school .. Then she comes home after 6 years because her brother was in a horrible accident and goes into a coma and she starts working for Wyatt as his nanny , they a misunderstanding again , she runs again , is pregnant doesn't even know it , comes back , her and Wyatt make up , and she moves into his house again with his ex wife living there , which NO women is going to do even if it is for the sake of his daughter
A cute friends to lovers story. Sierra Carter was in love with her brothers best friend. At her graduation party, Wyatt rejected her. So she ran,. Six years later she comes home when her brother is in a life threatening accident. Everything has changed for Wyatt. He is now a single dad, whose daughter chases away all the nannies. Sierra has lost her job, so she offers to take the position. Then Wyatt's ex, Anna's mother, shows up. Does she get in the way of their HEA? Read and find out.
So triplets? That dragged me into reading this book over one on my TBR and I have to say I was not disappointed. The angst and longing was insane and how sierra is brought home through a totally separate heartache was a double standard level. This book was great highly recommend if you love brothers best friend or friends to lovers!
You will laugh cry and want to pull someone' s hair.It is a book that has it all.You will feel sorry for Anna but she found someone to love her like a mom should.
Nothing is going right for Sierra she lost her job and her brother was in a bad accident. She is back home for the first time in awhile because of the heartache that sent her running away. Wyatt is Sierra's brother's best friend and he was the one to break her heart. He was afraid of what would happen if they got together so he lied to her about how he really felt. Now years later they run into each other as she is there for her brother. Wyatt has tried to move on from his feelings for her but when he sees her again its like nothing has changed. Can they have a second chance together? Can sierra forgive him for lying to her before?
This is a great story that will have you captivated from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Sierra Carter is having a horrible day. She lost her job and is heading home to be at her brother's hospital bed. Beau Carter was in a motorcycle accident and is placed in a medically induced coma. This is the first time she has been home since she fled right after a graduation.
Wyatt West is the reason Sierra left town. She told him she loved him and he lied and said he only thought of her as a kid sister to his best friend, Beau. Now with his friend in critical care he in in the same small room as Sierra. Oh and he has his 7 year old daughter Anna in tow. Now seeing Sierra, he has to face the only woman he ever really loved and still loves now. Will Sierra and Wyatt get a second chance? Can Sierra forgive Wyatt when she finds out why he lied to her? What about when Anna's mother re-enters the picture?
R.S. Elliot has developed the two leading characters fully as well as Beau and Anna so I feel like I know them. Wyatt seems to have a sensitive side underneath that I love. His daughter, Anna is such a great character. Her actions and reactions seem pretty true to what I think she would be like due to her up bringing.
Wyatt and Sierra had bundles of chemistry. The slow burn was a little agonizing for me (and I am sure for them too). They deserve to be together and at least they do get a happy ending in this stand alone book. Don't allow the word "Forbidden" stop you from enjoying this book. I recommend it.
Forbidden Cowboy is story that will have you on a whirl wind ride of ups and down. Beau, Sierra and Wyatt grew up together. Beau and Wyatt were best friends, and Beau and Sierra have always had feeling for each other. When life and fate throws them for a loop, they go their separate ways. Six years later Beau and Sierra find themselves back together in the same town, some things have changed - he is a single dad, and somethings have not - they still have feeling for each other.
An amazing addition to the series with characters you can't help but want to see them find their HEA.

I really enjoyed this book, being that it was a little different from the usual. Sierra and Wyatt have known each other for years. Her brother Beau is Wyatt's best friend, although the three were inseparable up through high school. Sierra was secretly in love with Wyatt and planned to tell him after graduation. However, Wyatt broke her heart and she ran off and disappeared for 6 years, only coming back when Beau was fighting for his life in the hospital after a motorcycle accident. The friends to enemies to lovers storyline kept me turning the page with well developed characters and an interesting storyline. Very well done.

This had two of my least favorite cliches - miscommunication because the characters didn't talk it out, just made assumptions and a heroine who runs away from her problems. So many things could have been avoided if Wyatt and Sierra had just TALKED to each other and said how they felt. And Sierra being a runner really annoyed me. It was bad enough when she did it at 18 but then to do it again as an adult, when her brother was recupperating and an 8 year old with abandonment issues were depending on her. So immature and childish. And really? She had NO IDEA she was pregnant? And to discover it's with triplets? Come on, there is no way she could be so clueless. And then the ridiculousness with the ex just turned me off even more.
I really must say this is a pretty interesting story knowing that these 2 have known each other since kids yeah it's really beautiful how they came together but it's sad knowing that her brother went through an accident but I'm glad they had a happy ending And plus with the kids coming out right
Forbidden Cowboy: A Friends to Lovers Second Chance Billionaire Romance
Going Back too Gunnison was going to be shear torture for Sierra after all it was the place that she had to run away from six years ago, but her brother needed her. He was the only family that she had left. Knowing that Wyatt was bound to be there too, just made it that much harder . That didn't matter, her brother did, she just didn't know it she was ready for a second heart break. GREAT READ!!!THIS

The book held my interest from the first page to the last and I just couldn’t put it down once I started. It is a really enjoyable second chance page turner, that is engaging, well written, emotionally deep, and steamy with lots of drama. It is a very entertaining book that is worth your time and money.

R.S. has written a great book with this one. Wyatt, Beau and Sierra all grew up together so it shouldn't surprise anyone when Sierra tells Wyatt that she loves him the night of her graduation party. But Sierra doesn't know what Wyatt is dealing with or that he loves her too. Not wanting to drag her down he lies. He tells her he doesn't feel a thing for her. Feeling rejected she does the only thing her teenage mind can think to do, she runs. And only returns for her parents funerals throughout the years. Until the worse day of her life. She loses her dream job and gets a call that her only remaining family, her brother Beau has been in a very serious motorcycle accident which forces her to return to her hometown. She knows it means she will see Wyatt again, after all he is her brothers best friend. But she doesnt know what else she will see. This story deals with serious medical issues, mean spirited exes and of course, having to deal with your heart.

There is so much to love about FORBIDDEN COWBOY. As a single dad story, there is the conflict with his daughter’s mother and her unwelcome insertion into his life. As a second chance love, fixing the lies and misunderstandings from the past then overcoming the insecurities for the future was the right amount of angst.
Sierra’s brother, Beau, brought her back home to Wyatt but not in the easiest way. Wyatt convinces Sierra to live at his ranch and be the nanny he needs for his young daughter Anna while her brother conquers his crisis. Of course, Wyatt’s ex can’t stand to see them all happy.
There is so much packed into this story and not one angle is neglected. The highs and lows of their romance and the compelling subplots makes this a worthwhile read.

Wyatt is Beau’s best friend, and Sierra is Beau’s sister. The three of them have been most inseparable since the boys met in kindergarten. Wyatt and Sierra have crushed on each other since the preteen years. Flash forward to graduation, and both Sierra and Wyatt walk away with broken-hearts. Wyatt gets life changing news and he thinks letting Sierra go without telling her how he feels is what’s best for her future. Six years later, an accident with Beau has them face to face again. Wyatt’s a single dad, running his ranch, trying to move forward with his life. Sierra has just lost her job, and is overwhelmed with thoughts of seeing her brother through his recovery. Sierra and Wyatt grow closer and eventually realize the feelings they had as kids are still there. When they come together it’s hot and explosive. Happily ever after times three!
4.5 Stars! I really enjoyed this book! This was a brother’s best friend / second chance romance. The story was well written with good characters and a good storyline. I really liked Sienna. My heart ached for her when she got her heart broken after her graduation. I did also feel bad for Beau. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t the biggest Wyatt fan during that seen with Sienna after graduation. But, as Wyatt’s true feelings and intentions were revealed, my heart ached for both him and Sienna and what could have been. Their path to happiness is far from easy, but well worth the journey! I loved Anna, and especially her relationship with Sienna. Beau had his own little truth bombs towards the end that I definitely wasn’t expecting!!

This is the 6th book in this series and is Wyatt and Sierra’s story. Wyatt is Sierra’s brothers’ best friend, and they all grew up together. When Sierra graduate’s she tells Wyatt how she feels and he lies to her, which has her leaving town heartbroken. When Now that Sierra’s brother has had a serious accident, she returns to town, and soon finds out that her feelings have not changed for Wyatt, who is now a single dad billionaire. Wyatt convinces Sierra to become his daughter’s nanny and to live on his ranch. These two have challenges to overcome along the way, including a vindictive ex-wife.
