Addison’s about to get married, but she’s not looking forward to the big day. It’s not her fiancé; he’s a wonderful man. It’s because Addison doesn't know who she really is. A few years ago, a kind driver found her bleeding next to a New Jersey highway and rescued her. While her physical wounds healed, Addison’s memory never returned. She doesn’t know her real name. Or how she ended up injured on the side of a road. Or why she can’t shake the notion that she may have done something very, very bad . . .

In a posh home in the Boston suburbs, Julian tries to figure out what happened to his loving, caring wife, Cassandra, who disappeared without a trace two years ago. She would never have left him and their seven-year-old daughter Valentina of her own free will—or would she?

As these two lives intersect, The Stranger in the Mirror hooks readers with riveting drama, told with Liv Constantine’s hallmark blend of glamour, tense psychological thrills, and jaw-dropping twists.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2⁣

I’ve gone back and forth b/w 3.5 and 4 but I think I’m sticking w/3.5 although the first 3/4 of the book is classic 4 star material. I tried to make sure I read for at least 30 minutes before I went to bed and sometimes it was so good that I read well past the 30 minutes and actually missed my workout the next morning b/c I didn’t get to sleep on time 😂⁣

But the last few chapters after the “𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗜 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗” plot twist 😳 really did feel rushed. I’ve read a lot of reviews where a reader says the ending was rushed and I’d never experienced that until I read this. The storyline was so big and elaborate that the ending required an explanation - but what the author(s) {sisters writing under a pen name} used 3/4 of a story to established, was resolved in a few short chapters. ⁣

𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘣/𝘤 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥… 𝟺 𝘚𝘛𝘈𝘙 💫 𝘛𝘏𝘙𝘜 𝘔𝘖𝘚𝘛 𝘖𝘍 𝘐𝘛 𝘎𝘖𝘖𝘋. ⁣

Also - ya girl been reading since the 6th grade and I’ve never read a storyline like this! It was unique and unpredictable! I haven’t read anything new since the middle of the summer b/c I didn’t want to start anything new until after we moved so I’m grateful to start again w/this quick find @ my local library 📚 ⁣

Absolutely amazing book!!!!! I listened to it in 2 days! I couldn't put it down. If you like thriller and crazy twists and surprises then this is the book for you. Such a good mystery.
If you are triggered by rape, violence, or abuse there is a little bit of it towards the end of the book.
