Salem has special plans for his summer off, plans that don’t include finding an eighteen-year-old girl on the narrow shoulder of a lonely road. But he does, and she has no idea who she is or where she’s from. He tries to help, but soon discovers it’s easier to find love than memories.
Hello! No formal biography in the third-person here. It’s just me, Dan, lover of books, science fiction, peanut butter, and animals – especially dogs. Moose, the cute one in the picture, prefers to take the easy way out when it comes to hiking. He’s just one of the many pets we have. Seriously, you name it, and we’ve probably got it – or at least had it at one time or another. Except snakes, which totally freak me out. Show me a snake; I run. End of story.
Thanks for stopping by. If you enjoy one of my books, please feel free to share! Have a great day … Dan
Salem was on his way to the home he had rented for the summer when he noticed a young adult female sitting on the side of the road. He stopped the car & she advised him she had amnesia, did not know who she was or where she was from. He took her home. She didn’t know her name but told him to call her Eagle. After trying several ways to solve her amnesia, Salem had her do a DNA test. The test showed she had a brother. Salem called him & he an a sister, Susannah, drove to Salem’s summer home.
This book kept my attention throughout! I kept wanting to read it every chance I could. My question to you: If you had amnesia, would you want to know who you were? Read this book for an amnesia twist!
This had just a little bit of a slow start for me, but the build-up and really getting to know the three main characters was excellent. And then... whoa - no spoilers, so I'll quit and just recommend that you give this a try. I enjoyed it tremendously, and I think you will too.
I struggled finishing this book, the characters were all ok, but each one had annoying ticks that kept pulling me out of the story. Also, it was an incredibly predictable plot twist and the author romanticized lying, stealing, and taking advantage of strangers' goodwill.
I was totally going the way you sent me, Mr. Nimak. But, Wow, what a twist. A terrific story of pain, love, and family. I wish I could say more, but would not wish to ruin a stellar book for anyone!
I absolutely loved it! Unexpected, and again, WOW!
