The Earth has been discovered by a mysterious alien race known only as “The Apex.” People have begun disappearing at random from all over the world, transported against their will and forced to participate in a lethal series of tests to determine their intelligence, stamina, and will to survive. The main character, a young man called Leon, slides a railing down an underground parking garage and finds himself sucked into a bizarre world full of dazzling adventures and deadly perils. With this clever setup, the author made me keep wondering what would happen next. I failed miserably in my guesses, which was fun! Pick this book today to see if Leon and his friends (and not-so-friends) will make it back to our world in one piece.

storyline held my interest and kept me reading!
