Hey there! Before I tell you all about myself, can I invite you to join my private Rachel's Readers Facebook group? That's where my readers hang out, discuss my books, participate in giveaways and learn about new releases.
So who am I? My name is Rachel Hanna, and I am a wife, mother of three incredible kids (maybe I am a BIT biased?), two lovable doggies and one cat that lives outside and thinks he owns the world. Okay, I also have a gecko now too. Don't judge me.
I started writing as a young child, and I went into the field of Journalism for many years as an adult. Now, as a romantic fiction writer, I get to live out my own daydreams every single day and share them with readers around the world!
I'm a Southern chick living near Atlanta, so I say "yes, ma'm" and "ya'll", but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
An excellent read. Brad is the jokester of the Parker family but as of late he doesn't have much to laugh about. His business is in dire straits and he needs to find new projects fast. When an opportunity lands in his lap to help build a new attraction in January Cove he jumps at the chance. Ronni Blair is the oh so serious representative sent to work with Brad on the project. She's had a rough go of relationships in the past so she's sworn off men for a while. Since Brad seems to rub her the wrong way, working closely with him shouldn't be a problem. Until it is!
While I enjoy this series for a quick, pleasant read, this book leaves much to be desired. The chemistry between the main characters feels forced, rushed and unbelievable. Ronni, the female lead is rude, short and condescending towards fun loving Brad. Yet, the imagery from Brads mind is all about her beauty, details of her body and all the things he’d like to do to her. Character development was lacking as well as romance and seduction. I had a hard time with this one and rolled my eyes quite frequently.
I’m confused by why Aaron and Tessa are moving into Adele’s house… I thought they were opening a bed & breakfast that he was renovating at the end of book 2? But Addison opened a bed & breakfast too… seems like overkill for such a small town
All I Need is a cute, small-town story that’s a fast and easy read. The charming setting and lighthearted nature make it an enjoyable book for fans of cozy, feel-good reads. However, the storyline felt a bit predictable, with few surprises along the way.
Initially, I struggled to connect with the main character, as she came across as somewhat abrasive. However, as her backstory unfolded, I began to understand and appreciate her more, which added depth to the narrative. While the character growth helped redeem her, it took some time to fully warm up to her journey.
Overall, it’s a solid read if you’re looking for something light and uplifting, but it may not leave a lasting impression. I’d rate it 3.5 stars. It’s a nice addition to Rachel Hanna’s collection, but not one of my favorites from her.
Brad Parker is the last of the Parkers who is single, even his mother has found love. Add to this, his business is hitting a low point, until his brother, Kyle helps him with a new renovation job to the Lamont Movie theater. Sparks fly when Brad meets the project manager, Ronni Blair. Brad puts his foot into it when he assumes Ronni is a male and things aren't much better as the days pass. But for some reason, Brad can't get Ronni out of his head. She is smart, gorgeous and full of spirit, but he also sees a great sadness in her eyes. As time goes by, they draw closer until Brad finds out that the sad story Ronni told him is not totally true/ Can they get past this or will the lie break them apart?
Just finished All I Need, the 5th book in the January Cove series. Once again the book was amazing. It tied up loose ends for Jackson, Aaron, and Adele. Kyle and Jenna also shared some news. I loved that Rachel brought all the family members into Brad's story. I loved following Brad and Ronni's story. Both of them having had a bad experience in a previous relationship. Are they able to move on from the past and find love in a new person? This is a must read to follow their relationship and that of the entire Parker family. Thank you Rachel for introducing and allowing me to get to know this great family.
brad had always been the funny one of the siblings. Not only is he the only still left single but it is depressing for hi. He is in a situation ( with his business) that he has never been in before and he does not know what he is going to do, until a new lady show up in town and is his boss ( Ronni) now on a site that is being renovated. She is running from her past and will it catch up with her or what? What happens when Brads finds out her secret and will it help or hurt his chances with Ronni? Will they stay enemy's or turn to lovers?
Book 5 in the January Cove series is about Brad, the funny one in the family. He has a bit of a job crises since business hasn't been that good. The an opportunity comes to remodel the local theater I town.
Ronni is business woman who has a secret and also happens to be Brad's boss on this new project.
When Brad and Ronnie meet they both seem to rub each other the wrong way. Ronnie tends to be all business and can be a bit harsh.
Another love by Rachel Hanna. ❤️ This is the final Parker sibling love story. I liked the initial feelings they had towards each other, sets the tone for their love story. Enemies to lovers. Plenty of swoon & kisses!
I will say this one was a tad more “raunchy” if you could really even call it that. But it referenced boners a lot (in different language of course). Which is different than the other books. Still loved and still a great love story 💕
Brad is the only unattached sibling of the bunch. He meets Ronni, his boss on his new project. They dislike one another initially, but there's a hidden attraction. Eventually Ronni reveals her secrets and it's up to Brad to decide if he can cope with them.
I loved this one. I love that Brad found someone who is a strong woman and can stand with him. This is a power couple and I'm glad I got to read their story. I also love all the other love stories finally coming to fruition from the other books.
I listened to the audio version of this book. I liked the story but hated the narration. I felt like the narrator voiced most of the female characters like Scarlett O’Hara. It was quite annoying and very distracting. This series may work better for me in written, rather than audiobook, format.
I like the family and intertwining of each couple in each book. Does not develop characters well before jumping to the relationship and ending. Quick reads. Closed door but some spicy comments. Some cussing.
I am in love with this author’s books. Great characters where everyone is looking for love but great family who accepts everyone. Great story. On to book six.
Another very good story about Brad, the funny son of the Parker family. Great reads by Rachel Hanna and makes an excellent book for a beach read. I'm onto the #6, in the January Cove series...
